  1. yo it's been so long since i popped in here i remember when this fanclub was a measly 20 pages long, how are things hangin people sunset is still my #1 gal... she'll always have a special place in my heart ive improved a lot in my art since 2014, here are my most recent shimmer doodles!
  2. Rainbow Rocks. Incredible music, and it was so incredible and satisfying to see Sunset redeem herself in the best way possible. She became my favorite character in the whole franchise which sort of made me disappointed with FG when she was pushed aside for Human Twilight. While the Dazzlings are extremely cliche archetypes that kind of need to die it didn't really bother me and I still liked them and their designs, and I also like how they had Trixie play like a secondary antagonist role. The interactions between Twilight and Sunset were definitely a highlight for me, they were both struggling with how people viewed them and were trying to not let everyone down. I still regret not seeing it in theaters.
  3. I just want more SHIMMY GLIMMY power hour, honestly. Seeing them interacting was really fun.
  4. lmao wubcake being butthurt about people nitpicking. its kind of a legitimate question. im pretty satisfied with the answer and to see it isnt just a "oh we forgot"
  5. Absolutely it was worth the wait. Definitely has to be one of the top episodes of the season. I'm glad the only thing spoiled to me about it was that "t's sad". Being totally caught off guard about the plot of the episode was... an experience. And I think going in blind made it even more enjoyable.
  6. Has it changed much? Or is development still going at a snails pace?
  7. banned for looking like a combination of the lolwut pear and annoying orange
  8. No, but my eyes did that pre-cry stinging sensation a few times. They did get me to actually miss characters ive only known for 22 minutes, though, so that's a feat all on its own.
  9. I think it's safe to say they're dead. I mean, it has been for years now but just the way the characters act throughout the episode you can feel the weight of it through the whole thing. The only thing that could be more blatant is flat out saying it. But one thing that intrigues me Applebloom says "mom and dad left us something to remember them by" like, was their death something they foresaw? (illness or...?)
  10. Deadass, this episode was god tier. An episode I've been waiting nearly a decade for and holy shit did it not let me down. I'm glad I was able to go in completely blind not expecting this episode at all, because when it dropped that those were AJ's parents I was blown the hell away. It's so bittersweet despite it never even having to say their parents are dead, everyone knows it. the characters and the viewer, really heavy shit. It's such a happy episode yet I can't help but feel sad. Beautiful episode with a beautiful song. I only got to know them in 22 minutes but damn I already miss them.
  11. idk, I thought they were awesome. Only issue I got is there are only three of them. but hey, I just love the shit out of EQG so any new content for me is totally welcomed. But I do agree with you, the conflict in mirror magic kinda had me goin like "wtf" like i dunno the mirror suddenly turning her into a giant was pretty weird and then like she just went stomping around for whatever damn reason altho it wasnt enough to leave me feeling disappointed or unhappy, i still enjoyed tf outta tese definitely gotta check em out again
  12. Seriously? Cadance? smh I don't hate any of them but I like twilight the least I'm not and never was bitter about twilicorn, I just like the OGs better.
  13. No, not really at all. I don't care, but it does kind of blow my mind that the show has been going on for so long, I wonder if it'll go on for a whole decade. Although it only feels like so long to me because I started watching in middle school and now I'm in college, so a good fraction of my young life.
  14. A brony is a fan of the T.V show 'My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic' From what I've been able to infer furries are people that are interested in anthropomorphic animals Soooo No.
  15. Absolutely magnificent episode the only issue is that now I want more princess episodes
  16. My friend and I went kayaking once, our goal was to kayak to the other side of the bay and back. It was like 4 or 5 miles across between the point in which we were embarking and where we were headed. At the start the bay was pretty flat but when we got about half way out there the waves started to get pretty bad and eventually we realized we were not moving at all, we were essentially on a treadmill made out of waves, and on top of it every now and then we'd hit a wave wrong and the kayak would fill up. We didn't take anything to bail out our kayak so my friend started using the plastic inside of a lunchbox which was extremely inefficient, and the kayak would fill up pretty fast Of course I alone couldn't keep up with the waves so we went from treadmilling to just being pushed back so we decided to call it off and kayak back but the waves were constantly crashing into the back of us now and flooding us more so he would have to keep stopping to bail us out when we finally arrived back at the boat ramp that we used to embark we were essentially sitting in a bath tub lol. last winter we tried again successfully with a lot less problems.
  17. Well it's what people did, and people do it all the time.
  18. No. It's just people don't pay attention to things that much. Just the other day I figured out I was reading an artist's name wrong. (their name was 'Mildock' but I read 'Milock') Take for instance the infamous star wars quote from Darth Vader. Everyone says "Luke I am your father" but in the movie he's just like "No, I am your father." When people are quoting it, it makes more sense to say "Luke I am your father" out of context, because the original quote is a reply while the incorrect quote stands alone. Then, because it got popular, it got quoted a lot and people just started thinking it was "Luke I am your father" and they believed it because obviously they probably hadn't seen the movie in a while.
  19. Never really thought about it. As of right now I don't really care too much about the show (season 7 so far is eh) but I still watch it. I'm kind of just in the fandom for a mixture of nostalgia/fan content/eqg/and because I like drawing the characters.
  20. Yeah, he isn't really an expert. neither were the guys he was working with. Hell, none of them should be allowed to work construction because when the (bear? i think it was) rammed into a single beam, the whole damn thing collapsed!
  21. Okay, I haven't finished yet but I'm already a bit... confused I'm at the part where Fluttershy is talking with the construction guy, but he's acting like he's never heard of an animal sanctuary before. Idk, I guess they're just not a common thing in equestria? Anyway, I don't see why he has an issue with building something that ISN'T a hospital. What fluttershy is asking for doesn't seem very tough to put together compared to making an entire building.
