If you look at tackles, they're not allowed to kick, grab, dive, dump, or ram the player. Their version of a tackle is stealing the ball from their legs. If you look up the definition of Football, you'll see that it's a non contact sport. Apologies, I mean full contact. If you touch the ball, it's contact, in the same way netball is contact.

Maybe you have the wrong sport. Football is pretty much a non contact sport, and the most in-sport violence is Swarez biting someone on the arm, or someone getting headbutted. xD Just my opinion.
