This is absolutely messed up. A spit in the eyes of workers, an ongoing moral crisis and a revealing moment showcasing how a supposedly powerful country is decades behind. End private prisons and protect workers~

I'm actually in favor of a revolution, but I acknowledge that if one happens, the states may not be united at that point. Granted the states aren't exactly united anyway, but a revolution would probably sever ties entirely. I'm in the mindset of "if that's what it takes, so be it." Something has to be done.

I can respect that, especially considering when there is no hope for institutional change, drastic measures are often needed to get shit done and one needs only study history to see that such drastic measures have been done before and it often lead to improvement rather than the opposite~ -
