    To add to what @Fluttershyfan94 said, some of which I agree with and some of which I disagree with: I really hate the celebration of weakness and weaklings. Instead of celebrating true strength and how a weak country is able to stand to this day, having moments of glory in its relatively short independent history such as our victory in the Cod Wars, we instead celebrate stuff like Pride and Cultural Night (Menningarnótt) where the purpose is just to get drunk and piss on the only people that are working on that day. These two events even overshadow the National Day of Iceland of 17th of June when we became a Republic. We could at least fix Cultural Night to be more about what it was supposed to be, to celebrate the birthday of Reykjavík, the Capital. I do not like that there is no celebration at all for our day of sovereignty and independence, the 1st of December. That day is disappearing from our collective memories. Karens. Fucking Karens. This country is rife with them, as well as simps. The lack of Nationalism is always a sign of great evil and moral decadence being in place. People are immensely proud of being Icelanders and will gladly wave the flag, but they will drag it through the mud by attaching disgusting imagery along with it, making it out to be more internationalist. The only Nationalism that we have is what I classify as Football Nationalism. Gotta rectify that. I dislike the entitlement culture here. People feel entitled to everything and I don't mean just the material, I mean entitled to certain actions or behavior from you. This has mostly to do with the Karens who feel they are entitled for you to kiss their feet while they lambast you or demand that you speak in Icelandic rather than English. It is not like the Icelandic language is the easiest one there is, it is enough that foreigners know English, that is the least they can do to show a bit of goodwill towards us rather than not being able to communicate with us at all. Finally, there is the lack of art. We could do with more public art to install in certain places to celebrate our unique culture and to make our city and towns a bit prettier, dress it up a bit rather than feeling like you are in some Soviet block~

    I am terrible with fashion. I wear mostly stuff that makes feel good, stuff that allows me a lot of movement. It is why I rarely wear jeans and more often wear sports pants. I usually get help from those who have more of a mind for fashion than I do when it comes to wearing the right style of clothes for an occasion. Otherwise I am have picked out clothes that fit certain occasions~

    I don't know and don't really care to think too much about it. I always know if there is something that I had not done in the past, then things would have been different. The decisions we make today shape our future. I accept the decisions I have made~

      Luckily here (Finland) Police actually broke up the protest due to the social distancing rules, quite surprising considering our goverment is just the type to please everyone else but native Finns.

    It is idiotic. Gender neutral parenting sound like a great way of setting up your child for future suicide. No, raise your kid according to your values, but also according to societal standards. Being a post-modernist isn't cool or radical, nor is it beneficial for your child, it just simply is stupid~

      Because it is clear you know nothing of violence or of mob mentality in even the slightest. 

      It was a dangerous move for the people to try and stop the car and start piling at it. You have no idea where that car needed to go and for what purpose. When you start backing away, it is a sign of weakness which would further encourage the rioters to try and stop the car and encircle it. We already have gods knows how many torched police cars. The kids gloves must come off and this must be handled the hardline way now. 

      No, it does not matter to me in the fucking slightest right now. Anarchy is unacceptable and order needs to be restored, then we can talk about cops being corrupt. 8 people are already dead as the result of one person being dead, I guess that is preferable.

      I don't care about their "plight" if the response is anarchy and further death. Of course it does not calm anyone down by moving forward, but it ends up with you not being dead. That is what you are not understanding. So forgive me, but the so-called plight of disenfranchised people is not enough of a justification to not get run over when they are being violent and showing every sign of wanting to trap you. 

      And I know which disgusting anarchist terrorist fucks I need to avoid~

    I agree with you that wanting to regulate twitter is really stupid and it is a stupid response and was mostly born out of the recent fact check. The most reasonable and justifiable thing that he could do would be to strip twitter of the protections of Section 230 as they've violated those sections. But Trump did say regulate, which is wholly different and just plain dangerous. No thank you Cheetos in Chief~

    The fact check thing was really stupid. I checked it myself, there was no fact checking. Only "according to CNN" and a few other news outlets. That is not fact checking, that is not even asserting a fact, it is basically the same as saying "allegedly". Is it funny? Yes, it kinda is, it is basically Trump getting trolled. But does it hold any actual sway or is it long term feasible? Most likely not, especially if Twitter is too scared of asserting facts themselves and has to delicate responsibility to news outlets (which, btw, are not fact checkers)~
