I wish Warcraft Adventures: Lord of the Clans had never been canceled. It looked like a really interesting point and click adventure game and I am sure it would have been rather fun. I've seen extensive gameplay from those who manage to get copies.

Honestly my care runs a little low these days for the place. I participate from time to time, but I am rather done with the whole "morality" part of debates which goes on there fairly often, I already know where I stand when it comes to moral issues. I mostly respond to threads that concern geopolitics as that is my field.
From my experience, the people who are most dissatisfied with the forum are either the "I'm just here for ponies" type or the people who have been btfo'ed so hard in that forum that their salt is saltier than the Dead Sea. Not everyone can handle it or argue within the boundaries of the rules without getting too personal and going the ad hominem rout. Takes a lot of levelheadedness to participate there actually~

A red carnation is something I would give @Kamii as a celebration of her country's revolution against the fascist dictatorship of Estado Novo. So I would go with roses

Lived through many. But the one who has personally been in the most danger ever would have been my mother.
The volcanic eruptions I have lived through have usually been rather far away from any settlements and those near have always been evacuated. The worst it has done personally done to me is cover everything in ash which is a bit of a pain to clean. But the volcanic eruptions here in Iceland have always been worse for European flight/air traveling rather than for us Icelanders.
The story for my mom is a bit different. In 1973 a terrible volcanic eruption began on the main island of the Westman Islands where the majority of the island chain live in. My mother was visiting her grandparents when it happened. It happened at night, people woke up and a mass evacuation began as the island was emptied of all people, some firefighters tried to slow down the flow of lava with their waterhoses and even drawing water from the sea. The kids were the first ones to be evacuated, so my mom was put on board with a bunch of kids and arrived on the mainland a few hours later and she had to wait there for a long time with a number tag on her until her parents finally got to her.
Only one person died in that event and a lot of homes were lost. These homes have recently been dug up and what has been discovered has been fascinating, how the ash has preserved most items that were found inside those houses. A museum has been built around the dug up homes and people can visit it if they want.

There really aren't one. I guess if you are unsure about your SO, it is easier to cut ties since they are far away.
What is it that you are currently hoping/expecting from your SO/relationship? -

I am kinda unsure, however, I think it would be Christianity (or at least the Icelandic messed up version). It is just that I don't want to believe that when I die, I become nothingness. It is a very depressing thought, so I like to believe there is a higher power out there and that when you die, you don't dissolve into nothingness, that the soul lives on.
Things have changed a lot.
I am a rather agnostic person, but I do have a great sense of spirituality and I have a constructed system for beliefs. I believe that all religions have a variation of sense or truth to them, but I believe them all to be locational and not all-encompassing. I believe that Ásatrú holds power in the North, in Scandinavia, Northern Germany and Iceland. I believe that Finnic paganism holds power in Finland, Northern Scandinavia among the Sami, Estonia and North Western Russia. I believe Romuva and other Baltic religions hold power in the Baltics and in the old Prussian (Pruthenian) territories. You can see where this is all coming from.
For myself, I am a part of the Ásatrú, though it is mostly for cultural and ancestral reasons as I still hold rather agnostic views.

I would not count myself among those described as SJWs. They take things to a ridiculous decree, to the point where they even hurt people in actuality.
I don't mind them existing though, I mostly mind people, companies or politicians caving in to them making life worse for the average joe~

I'm a lot more conversational and more approaching when I am drunk. I can also tolerate being touched more than when my full senses are about. I tend to be a rather good company to have when I am drunk, or at least if that is the plan. If I am the only one who is drunk, I probably am a bother~

I am a rather solitude personality, so being alone is not bothersome. I don't mind being around people, I do seek being around people I care for like my girlfriend and best friend. But too many is too many, especially if they are strangers~

Since no one decided to bite, I will ask a new question.
Have you ever gone on a double date?

Definitely. I think birthdays are a fun way of having yourself either a bit of you-time or spending it with loved ones who wish to celibrate with you~

It was nice. We did not get to spend the entire day together, but I think we made good use of the time we received.
