From the recent replies I've been getting, it appears as though a good fraction of Bronies only have interactions with Bronies online. I guess I've kind of had the luxury to have a large group of my close friends all be Bronies for so long. Also, I haven't realized how friendly and nice all the people on these forums were! If you guys lived in my area, we would totally be best brony friends. Then no one would have to be alone.

Jeez, I'm not even sure where to start with this one...I remember when I first became a fan of the show back when season 2 had just ended. My best friend was just getting into the show too, we supported each other and started to recognize ourselves as bronies. We discovered so many new and wonderful things together, we read famous fan fictions for the first time and watched new videos coming out that would later become defining in the fandom. I wish that was still so... Good things must always come to an end, right? At least it did for my group of friends, right after season 4 ended. Everyone began to lose interest and I felt like the only one still genuinely still interested in the show. Even my best friend had moved on to other things as we drifted apart. Eventually even I lost interest in the show for a good 8 months now and I've barely watched any of season 5. Now as the the year turns over to 2016 I find myself looking back as those times more than ever wishing I could at least hold a conversation about mlp with my friends without them giving funny looks. I miss those times when we'd spend hours and hours reading fallout equestria and discussing at length about future episodes. Is there any point in reinvigorating my friend's interest in ponies? Is it even possible in its current state? Please share your thoughts about my post with me. I'm very interested to hear if this has happened to you or if you miss those "good ol' days of season 1 and 2."
