  1. Amber is overwhelmed with the power of ancient magic. Eyes glowing and hooves rising off the ground, she released a blast that disrupts and contorts both time and space... Repeat of the same question, since this is a cool one. What would your OCs "Final Smash" power be? :3
  2. Discord AND D&D?? I really shouldn't be getting my hopes up, but I can't help it! Aaagh! I hope it's good! Also, The title "Stranger Than Fanfiction" really worried me, and I was briefly afraid it would be another atrocity like "Slice Of Life," but reading the description makes me a little more hopeful... ...I really hope mlp fim doesn't forget its roots in favour of fandom pandering and dank memes.
  3. The next episode is called---oh, GOD. *quietly* Oh god...

      I'll be optimistic about it.

I take it you're stoked about the D&D episode?

      Very! Discord and D&D!!

  4. StormJumper: Let me at 'em! Plum: *slowly flips bakery sign to "closed"* Amber: Oh, another bugbear. Wonder where they're coming from... What would your OC do if each of the Mane Six offered to take them under their wing and teach them the ways of Harmony? Of course, you can't say yes to all of them...

@Gold3, Sorry, I've been away from the forums! I believe I use Inkscape 9.1? I'm really glad you like my art! :3
  6. "--Or, I guess that works, too?" Amber gave a halfhearted grin. She would have normally been upset about this recklessness, but at this point she was just glad to be getting away from the blast site. That place gave her the creeps "Nice job, Ice. Can we get to your office from there, Lektra?" she looked to the young teacher hopefully. Trekking through the alleys wasn't her cup of tea, but it was better than being caught--probably.
  7. Ask Jeeves. Piczo/freewebs personal websites run by kids. What else? Webkinz? It's been running strong up until a recent change of management...curse you, jumpstart.
  8. 'Never engage in a battle of wits with an unarmed man.'

Why not never engage in a battle to begin with? But what you said is pretty true too.

  9. I'm here, also waiting for someone to post.
  10. YES, THANK YOU. Maybe instead we'll get the other side of that lesson, where somebody learns not to be a mooch. As soon as it was announced (a year ago?) that Fluttershy would have a brother, the first thing I thought was how he would interact with Discord. I honestly didn't expect him to be a hippie mooch...maybe he'll end up moving in with TreeHugger by the episode's end? On that note, what were all you guys expecting him to be like? I actually didn't even think about her parents, so I can't say they broke any expectations, but I thought Flutterbro would be a bit more...brotherly? Like, encouraging and friendly and such. Maybe a little overprotective. Although I also expected him to be older, for some reason. I guess we know how Fluttershy learnt to care for small, demanding creatures now.
  11. I really liked the idea of this episode, but it was weird seeing how inefficient AJ was as a worker. ^^'
  12. Definitely not! I mean, I'm not, but you sure aren't alone. Am i the only one who liked "A Hearth's Warming Tail" better than any other Season six episode?
  13. I realize it became imbalanced after I took Caliber out. You can settle it in-character, though. Just have someone say "Hey, someone else come with me!"
  14. "Splitting up sounds good to me. If anypo---if anyone sees two Lektras at once, it might bring us more unwanted attention." Amber thought back to the dank jail cell and shivered. "Starchase, Our Lektra, you come with me through the back. None of us know much about this place, so it's best we stay out of sight as much as possible. Ice, Native Lektra, you take the front." Amber paused for a moment and put a hand on her chin. "Maybe Luna should come with us, too...and if anypo--if anybody asks, you found him" --She gestured to Ice-- "...skipping class, or something. Does that sound good?" she turned to Star for support. "And then we all meet up in Lektra's office, right?"
  15. I guess that is enough of a reason. Let's see if Amber can find us an entrance...
  16. This is the first episode of Season Six that I actually really enjoyed. The songs were wonderful, and the Equestrian adaptation of "A Christmas Carol" was really well done. :3 I'm gonna watch it again, now. EDIT: I realize that some might consider this story overused, but I think mlp's interpretation was clever and, more importantly, relevant to current character arcs. I'm not a fan of reformed Starlight, but if her reformation had gone more like Snowfall's did in this episode, I would like her so, so much more. This story was much more fun, and much more well-paced than those sloppy last ten minutes of the season 5 finale. This episode achieved what others failed to do-- it made me like and empathize with Starlight... even though it technically wasn't her I was watching. Plus, this episode was a huge improvement on Twilight's character, compared to other recent ones. It actually showed her reading and understanding Starlight's situation, and using her own methods to get through to her and help her improve as a person pony. I always enjoy episodes where the mane six play as other characters, too. It's fun to see their same personalities in a different context, and of course, the amazing songs and costumes add so much to it. This has been my favourite episode this season, no matter how poorly timed its release was.
  17. I'm kind of confused as to why we're sneaking in...? I'm sorry. Can I get a tiny recap?
  18. ~*~ Merry May, everypony! ~*~ Today, a Christmas episode, at the exact wrong time of the year. ...But timing aside, I personally think this was the best season 6 episode so far! I'm gonna be blunt--haven't been liking Season 6.* I wasn't a fan of how quickly Starlight was forgiven and reformed, I didn't care for the royal baby two-parter, and most of the characters have seemed like mere caricatures of themselves lately. (I'm looking at you, Twilight!) Heck, some of the episodes have just been so bland that I couldn't even bother myself with a blog entry for them. This episode, however, was just great! I've always liked Christmas episodes and other holiday specials, and this was no exception. For once, I thought Starlight's inclusion was both valuable and enjoyable. The Equestrian adaptation of "A Christmas Carol" was well thought out, and the songs (oh, the songs!) were fantastic. Hopefully more episodes like this are on the way, and we can say goodbye to the same-old-same-old that Season Six has been so far...although I do realize that holiday specials are kind of...an exception. Oh, also. Pony professor Snape. I can't be the only one who saw that. Anyways, what did you think of this episode? And the ones before it? Have you been liking season 6 so far? Come join the community conversation over in season 6 discussion! And this episode's featured question: Which Holiday episode (not just of mlp) is your favourite of all time? *Season 5 wasn't too thrilling, either,
  19. I'm back! Probably. Maybe? Maybe not.

  20. I think online shopping has probably given post offices a lot more to do. my sister and I also send letters to one another, ever since I started school in a different city. It's much nicer than email. "Can you seal it with a loving kiss? Can you cry tears on to a clacks, can you smell it, can you enclose a pressed flower?"
  21. Okay, but metalbending? I think that might be a tiny bit excessive.
