Someone's already made a theme for Amber, (profile link in signature,) but I have a feeling it was...less-than-original... ^^' I definitely wouldn't mind another go at a theme song for her. Something light and airy and mysterious, but still fun and adventurous, perhaps?

 

 

Here's a bit of trivia--the term "Waifu" came from the hilarious show "Azumanga Daioh"! It was written by the same person who writes Yotsuba!

Although the word itself is kinda cringey, I don't really mind it. It's just strange hearing people talk about characters as if they own them. ^^' I mean, imagine treating real-lif crushes like that...

Not that I DON'T have any character crushes to speak of...

Okay guys, I'm concerned.

I recently saw this post on a Facebook group I'm following. I assumed they were talking about Stellar Eclipse from this episode.

So, did this really happen? I'm tempted to call BS on it, and assume it was made up to make the fandom look bad, but I'm really not sure.

I didn't mind the borrowed Aesop from the last episode, but I felt the pacing was really weird and the characters were kind of caricaturized versions of themselves. :/

This episode had some weird pacing, but was otherwise good. It got a bit silly at parts.

I was talking about them saying that Equestria had never seen the birth of an Alicorn before.  If that contradicts something in the book, then that would retcon the book.  It's as simple as that.

What does that have to do with Celestia being superior to Luna, though?

Because it retcons something that people use to argue Celestia's superiority to Luna, rendering it inadmissible in any debate. 

What? No, they were BOTH said to be born Alicorns. Celestia and Luna. Where did that come from?

This is severely adorable. I'm not sure HOW we could go about if, but it sounds fantastic.

I agree, but the part that honestly upsets me the most is the fact that they basically went against The Journal of The Two Sisters in saying that Equestria had never seen the birth of an Alicorn before. I mean, didn't that book basically confirm that Luna and Celestia were born alicorns?

She's actually a bicorn. It's just everyone thinkng she's an alicorn, because horns and wings. Until we see earth pony power, she's a bicorn.

Power level is explained due to being blood related to powerhouse Twilight and Shining.

No, she's not a princess. That doesn't come until soeone decides that they've acheived it. Princess Twilight confirms this, as well as the Journal of the two sisters

I like to think that Alicorns have Earth pony powers, but that was never really established in canon. They always just referred to it as "Earning Alicorn wings" or similar. They never actually mention Earth Pony powers...what a shame.

What I'm getting at: Flurry IS an Alicorn.

As for her title, I think Flurry Heart is automatically a princess, on account of being born into a royal family. Hasbro will never call Cadence a Queen, though. Celestia was supposed to be called "Queen Celetia", but that was scrapped because Hasbro associated that title with being evil--hence, Queen Chrysalis.

I think the pilot should be left out of this. ^^" They were just starting out at that point, so it obviously isn't gonna be perfect, especially in terms of character continuity.

I voted for the Crystalling. It was just....uninteresting. Not predicable, exactly, but it broke my suspension of disbelief to the point where I just didn't really care what happened. That being said, "The Crystal Empire" isn't really fresh in my mind. It seems to be getting a lot of hate here, but I don't really remember disliking it. Maybe I ought to watch it again.
