Eyes open! 
Kamen Rider Ghost was a weird TV show in terms of music. Where other shows are happy to make tons of vocal songs, this one hardly made any beyond the bare minimum. I was ready to give up and not share any rare songs from this show, but I found one! If you buy the TV Soundtrack, you get this as a bonus song. It's basically an educational hip-hop song that teaches you all the different Eyecons in the show. However, it is sung by m.c.A・T! The dude made a grand return. We haven't seen him since the days of Faiz, and here he is as the voice and various jingles of all the Eyecons!

Well, being a duck was fun for a while, but now it's time to go back to normal. 

Though, some may need a moment longer.

What occasion would we even be singing about if September had carols?  Let's review the week that has passed, my crowd!

 I believe the biggest thing to note is that my mother and uncle both finished paying off their vehicles!  So proud for them. And just in time! I didn't want to say anything because the weather keeps wanting to go back up, but it looks like we're finally seeing the end of the heat wave and all the summer heat.

 So a quick update about the new Tiny Toons cartoon and my mixed feelings... Turns out this cartoon really is a reboot in the traditional sense of the word. It's a complete start over from scratch. Most of these characters are meeting each other for the first time. Buster and Hampton are close friends, even though I don't remember that being a thing before, Buster and Babs are related now, etc. And I know it's groan-worthy, but say it with me, multiverse. Yep! We're basically seeing a Tiny Toons multiverse now. Is it too soon to be that creatively different with the brand? Hard to tell! If it becomes a success, good for them. If not, oh well, maybe the next version of Tiny Toons will do better. 

 This was a week for some trailers, let me tell you! The biggest one was Nintendo Direct. Not too many things stood out to me, but I do hope the new Contra and F-Zero titles do really well. It pains me to know that the Harley Quinn cartoon is doing so well that they are now making Kite Man spin-off. Aquaman is getting his 3rd movie after all this time; hope it goes out with a bang. They are making another season of Attack on Titan; let's hope this is truly the final, final season after all. The live action version One Piece is doing so well that Netflix and Oda-sensei has all ready announced Season 2! What is that, record time?  And the biggest news I got all week... Not only is Sonic Frontiers about to get it's last DLC, but they are making a soundtrack to go with! More music, and more vocal songs! I am all in for that.

 King-Ohger 28: Sorry To Ninterrupt.  Not the best episode, but interesting at least. While Gira/Red and Jeremie/Kumonos were spending time together as body swapped buddies, the others were learning from each other indirectly. Well, somewhat at least. I'm really not sure what they've learned. The results seem arguable at best; and only Black and Yellow may have actually learned something from each other at most. I've seen body swap episodes done better, but at least they are extending this episode into a two-parter so that the MOTW isn't a complete dud.

 KING-OHGER 28: SUPPLEMENTAL. It may be too early for me to be making this statement, but I am wondering how this show is going to handle its narrative going forward. Now that Gira has taken the throne and the old king has been dethroned, it feels like the show is trying to slip back into the standard MOTW formula with no over-arcing story beyond protect the world from the villains. The nations are friends now and there is no longer a race to seize power from a terrible king. So I am making a prediction... I hate to say it, but Racles needs to come back. It feels strange that we'd make a Grey Ohger and hardly use him. With all eyes on this new galactic menace, now would be the perfect time for the surprise return of an evil king when no one is looking or prepared. 

 Gotchard 02: Skating Bored.  This episode was not as thrilling as the first, but there were interesting moments. I like the dynamic between Ichinose/Gotchard and Renne. They have different skills they specialize in, so it allows you to appreciate how they bounce off each other. It's not the same as, for example, the relationship between Eiji and Hina from OOO, which was basically done for the lol's. What I really don't like is how they have redefined alchemy in this show. Like Ichinose observed, it's basically magic now. I don't mind when it works in a similar way to Full Metal Alchemist, but from what I've seen, this is hardly much different than Wizard. I hope they embrace the science aspect a bit more in future episodes, because this is way too similar. Also, poor Skebows was hardly the focus here, but the motorcycle sure was awesome.

And while some might think the cartoons (and one movie) is all there is, I have recently learned there is much more. Some may know about the original comics. Somehow, Kamen Rider Drive only had two rare songs during its run. "Time" is the theme song of a crossover side-story. However, the acoustic edit can only be found on the CD single for "Re-ray", which is the theme song of the Kamen Rider Drive movie. Either way, gotta give props to Mitsuru Matsuoka. He first made his grand entrance during the days of Kamen Rider Double, but he went on to make the vast majority of songs for the TV show Kamen Rider Drive; this time under the stage name "Earnest Drive".

Honestly my crowd, I thought I'd be in the holiday season before I got to this -->  But let me tell you about the week we just finished!

 I guess the biggest thing to report was Labor Day! I had a good one, my crowd.  Honestly, this has been a very relaxing week for me.

 In other news, I saw trailers for Godzilla Minus One and Monarch. Looks like Goji's about to have more content made~ Saw the first episode of the Tiny Toons reboot, and my feelings are mixed. The show has potential, but I heard that Babs and Buster are still related and there might be other things being changed too. Still, I wish it more success than we all expected. Last of all, there is going to be another Chicken Run. Honestly, I have the worst time remembering the events of any of these claymation movies made by this studio, let alone what happened in the first Chicken Run. Still, glad it's successful, I guess. 

 MAW Superman 09 & 10: An Alien To You & Me!  So much to unpack from just two episodes! We see the origins of the General and learn he is Lois's dad. The rise of Amanda Waller. Braniac and Zod have been teased, but not as much as they tease Supe's dad. Looks like a certain villain finally has powers without needing tech. And I don't know if this was ever done in all his years of existing and comic book reboots, but making Superman look like a lost weapon of destruction and conquest works SO well! ...And I guess Jimmy is rich now? It was all just too powerful. We conclude one cliffhanger and end with another!

 King-Ohger 27: Royalty & Destroyers.  I CALLED IT!! I knew that wouldn't be the last we saw of Kamejim. The intro gave us a fake out, made it look like Jeramie/Kumonos' first follower was destroyed. I know we got a blurb about why the other kings were in prison, but I still don't fully get it. I don't like that Gira's royal outfit is the same as Racles's, would have preferred something in white. Also, could it be I spoke too soon? Could it be that Racles knew about this galactic threat and was preparing for it this whole time? For now, it looks like their weapons have no effect. I wonder how they'll solve this problem...

 Gotchard 01: Al-Chemy Begins~!  Well this is a very bland beginning, which is not necessarily a negative depending on how this show goes. They spend more time setting up a bunch of things rather than explaining the majority of it, and there is also plenty of narrative tropes that we've seen before a million times. About the only thing that took me by surprise was the teacher being involved in this alchemy craziness. Either way, classic tale of an unskilled rookie getting caught in something they are very much not ready for. BTW, you're not slick, show. Ichinose? Hopper1? I see what you're doing. In fact, there might be a LOT to what you're doing. Even the female classmate (Rinne Kudo) might be an homage to Wizard's Koyomi, but hopefully she'll have a better story here. I'll save the rest for my Supplemental thoughts.

 GOTCHARD 01 SUPPLEMENTAL: So to start, let's be clear about the main character.  His full name is Hotaro Ichinose. Get it? Ichinose, which sounds similar to Kamen Rider #1 (Ichigo)? His suit is based on #1's first suit, and one of his first cards is Hopper1. Kamen Rider #1 was based on a grasshopper, has been called Hopper, but is always regarded as the first Rider. However, Hotaro sounds similar to Haruto, as in Kamen Rider Wizard. With all the heroic alchemy users wearing rings, I doubt that's a coincidence. Did this show combine a bunch of other inspirations to make this Rider as well? Steamliner might be based on Den-O's train, his initial bug form based on ReVice's Remix forms, and maybe there's a touch of OOO in there since that show also had alchemy. And while the image of a young grade schooler is getting popular in Japan right now (thanks to stuff like Pokemon), #1 was also a student, so maybe that's also by design. Many of these elements feel random, but they might not be at all. Finally, don't stress about the first episode being bland. They could be doing that on purpose to really give to story some weight later.

 No movies this week. I was planning on it, but just couldn't find anything that really inspired me this time. Maybe this coming week instead.

Kamen Rider Wizard might not have been an absolutely perfect TV show for some, but one of the best things about it was hearing both Rider Chips and Kamen Rider Girls dominate the insert/ED music selection. We got to hear both bands at their best; making original music they can call their own. It was a time when the girls could also be considered the official band of Kamen Rider, right there beside their predecessors from Chips. This song was never heard in the TV show nor the movies. It was an extra that you could only get upon purchasing the CD single for "Just The Beginning", an ED theme made for Wizard's Dragon Styles.

Hi there, my crowd! Ready for a rollercoaster or a nice break?  Let's go.

 In little ways that add up, I was busy this week. I was making a meme comic that I shared on this forum. I welcomed a new Mod to the team, though I've been seeing them learn the ropes this whole time. I almost lost a friend, but thankfully things changed for the better quickly. And my mother needed some help setting up a new cell phone because her old one died.  Would have preferred to go shopping on a happier note, but shopping is shopping.

 The Live Action One Piece series on Netflix dropped. I'll have to see it eventually, but I have heard some positive things.  Also, I ran out of time to watch any of the movies I intended to watch this week. So I'll be reviewing something else instead~

 King-Ohger 25: Gather The Willpower!  What a wonderful, powerful episode. Each of the main characters learned to gain conviction and new levels of trust that they never knew they had. Kumonos had the idealism but never the will to seize power. The rest are learning to swallow their pride and allow their closest citizens to join them in battle, a risk they never wanted to make before. This episode was short on story, but it had an amazing amount of character growth, making the victory at the end all the more sweeter.

 King-Ohger 26: History Rewritten!  I am not sure if trying to redeem Deathnarok near the end worked out as well as they were hoping, but I understand what they were going for. The Bugnarok and Humans were once very similar creatures, but countless ages of separation caused them to evolve and seek power in different ways. The ruler of the Bugnarok gave into despair and became vengeful, but with hope of doing the right thing. Instead, he was crushed by his second in command Kamejim, a manipulating Bugnarok that has been orchestrating this whole war behind the scenes, playing both sides for fools. Even with him gone and the war over, something still feels incomplete. And yet the preview excites me for a completely different reason~!

 KING-OHGER 26 SUPPLEMENTAL: For a long time now, I've wanted to do something like this; give supplemental thoughts to the tokusatsu I am watching.  The reason I've avoided this up until now is because most of my thoughts were either minor things, or thoughts I should've expanded on sooner rather than later. But right now seems like the perfect time, because history really is being made here. King-Ohger is about to have a time skip, an unofficial Season 2. We've seen Power Rangers dividing their shows in half thanks to Nickelodeon (Samurai/Super Samurai, Dino Charge/Dino Super Charge, etc.), but Super Sentai has never really done such a thing. Time skips are usually saved for when a show is over. And what I want to say is... I have no idea if Kamejim is truly gone. It feels too good to be true, his defeat feels too easy. I don't know if Racles will return or not; it feels like he might not have room for more story in the upcoming episodes. I really wanted to know what caused him to become so corrupt. However, I stand by what I said before. There is no way Racles could have lead the charge to this victory. Even if he had won the war, he would have just sewn the seeds for history to repeat itself someday. In the end, Racles's ambition was no better or worse than Deathnarok's ambition. And while the direction for Part II seems random, it's giving me Gurren Lagann vibes, so I am all for it!

 Yodonna: Redefining Sentai?!  The three-part Yodonna special really was something else. I am glad it was relatively easy to pick up from where Kiramager left off, even if I am coming in late to the party. There are parts of this special that stretched the believability super thin. There are moments that were great to see that broke away from what you normally expect in Sentai. In fact, that is the greatest strength of this entire run. This miniseries tackles mature moments that you'd normally only see in Kamen Rider, thus showing that Super Sentai doesn't always have to be super family-friendly all the time. In fact, if it wasn't for the use of the Kiramager ED theme, you'd almost forget this was part of Super Sentai. Sadly, those hopping for shipping between Kiramei Yellow and Yodonna will find nothing but a complete tease here. However, this special might be setting up for a future title down the road~ This special might not be perfect, but the ends definitely justified the means.

 NO GOTCHARD THIS WEEK! Gotta give the fansub at least a little time to see if they are really dedicated to subbing the show.

A step 10 years in the making. 
This song was made to celebrate the 10 year anniversary of the TV show Kamen Rider Fourze. It's a cover of the first ED theme. It is sung by all the characters that never got to transform into a superhero (minus one, for good reasons...). Therefore, beltless edit, get it? A music video was posted online, but the only way to get the full version of this song is to get the Kamen Rider 50th Anniversary compilation album. It has songs you've heard before (if you're a long time Kamen Rider fan), a few covers, and some new gems that have never been released before. And this song is but one example!

 Can't say anything super big or major happened to me this week. However, there were some celebrity deaths. RIP Bob Barker and many others that have died recently.

 In other random pieces of news... Charles Martinet has stepped down as Mario, but he may still be involved with Nintendo. There's been trailers for Sonic Superstars and the last piece of Sonic Frontiers DLC! So hyped about the multiplayer, Metal Amy/Metal Tails, and more~ If I forgot to mention it sooner, I got my AbaRanger DVD box set!  Which is very relevant to tonight's post.

 NO KING-OHGER THIS WEEK!  I'm holding back in favor of the finale of Geats. But I do have a consolation lined up...

 Abare W/ Don: A Wildly Better Promo!  Ultimately like the last one (Hurricaneger with DonBrothers), this is just a promo for the AbaRanger anniversary movie. However, this one feels like a much better stand-alone crossover. Maybe I just feel that way because I haven't seen any major DonBros action for a while now. Still, after getting that AbaRanger DVD boxset, seeing this get translated shortly after felt like just the right timing for me.

 Geats 48: The Final Pieces?  How dare they take the pose of our founding Rider and use it in vein! Every moment of this episode is packed with story and great moments. The return of Girori, the original Game Master, now sticking it to his superiors! The awaited fusion of the good and evil Tsumuri's. But it all ends when we finally see the last piece of opening's imagery come to life just as Geats was winning. Now what?

 Geats 49: Ready? Fight For Desire!  No need to trust last. Time to trust first. There are some aspects of this story that are not perfect. I feel like we never got full disclosure on what evil Tsumuri really wanted out of life, or what happened to her for that matter. There is also a moment that jumps shark a little bit with time-reversing logic. However, it all comes together to form a strong ending. A natural ending that was hinted at many episodes ago; perhaps from the very beginning if you can believe it. I won't spoil that ending here. All I can say is perhaps life is what you make of it, and happiness is always there if you're willing to chase (or wish) for it.

 [ 1 / 2 ] My final thoughts on Kamen Rider Geats the TV series...  I remember when we started this show. A Rider with a gun as his main weapon was advertised, along with a death-match setting. I was worried about how they'd pull this off; that maybe it would be too dark even for Japanese children. However, they found a way to make it work. The story was so engaging that it had me on the edge of my seat; if not every episode then every other episode! Basically, I was enjoying it so much that the time between episodes just melted by. You know it's a great season when having to wait a week for each episode feels like a reward rather than a grind. As the old saying goes, time flies when you're having fun. That's not to say that this show is without flaws, of course...

 [ 2 / 2 ] Eventually, the Admins began to understand the true origins of Ace/Geats. At some point, they began to embrace the roll of super villains a bit too hard. I wondered if they were endangering the “future” they came from. And there were other small flaws too, but it wasn't enough to take away from the beautiful ending that came together in the end. What really makes it beautiful, though, is their approach. They could've had the heroes say the predictable line of “Happiness is not limited!”, but they went a different route. We did get to that point eventually, but in an unexpected way. A way that fits with how this show began. Sure, ReVice is a SLIGHTY better show. However, if you choose this TV show, you'll definitely be in for a great experience. ...But now it's time to flip the card and see what Gotchard has to offer. 

 [ 1 / 2 ] TOKUSATSU MOVIE TIME!  I recently saw Shin Kamen Rider. Normally I wouldn't go into spoilers for movies like this. However, the movie is available internationally on Amazon Prime. I believe that makes it fair gain by now. Going into it, I heard the movies with the Shin title were a tough sell to many. This is no exception. If the movies The First & The Next were No. 1's shining moment, this movie is No. 2's shining moment. I do hate when a star character gets killed off, though. I know Rider is suppose to be a tragic, lone-hero story, but not even the original TV show was this level of tragic. Still, up until the ending, this was easily one the of the best modern takes on the source material. It explained the costumes, the monsters, the deaths, Shocker's methods, etc. It really brought a level of cohesion that the original show needed. The movie starts off super fast with Hongou/No. 1's origins; and the actors manage to capture the spirit of these characters above personal looks. The action is amazing, the story is gripping, and there are great moments. I can't say it's perfect, it's really quantity over quality; maybe because Shinji Higuchi wasn't working with Hideaki Anno for this one. They didn't nail the ending, introducing Robot Detective K went nowhere, and who knows if we'll get a sequel. In fact, the story beats here have been done by other Rider shows before. As it stands, I can only recommend this to die-hard fans of the original Kamen Rider story; especially if you are open to creative re-imaginings.

 [ 2 / 2 ] TOKUSATSU MOVIE TIME!  I also saw Shin Ultraman! This may easily be the best in Shin cinematic series. And why not? Ultraman is just as iconic and important to Japan as Superman is to America. It was imperative that they did this right, and I think they succeeded. I'm not the biggest Ultra fan; so I only know what I know from summaries. The original show was very sci-fi, but this movie was very grounded. Even so, it still felt like a wonderful love letter to the franchise. We had beastly kaiju, intelligent aliens trying to manipulate Earth and its inhabitants, and space-age elements and tech that Earth is not ready for. In the middle of it all, an Ultraman that has formed a partnership with a human. It's a re-imagining, yet you can easily connect the dots to see how modern Earth might evolve into what we saw in the vintage TV series. Did the hero ultimately die? It's left ambiguous, so there is a chance he's still here and capable of defending the Earth! Zoffy was introduced, so there are seeds for the Ultraman legacy to continue in this universe. Best of all, the story-telling has WAY better pacing than Shin Kamen Rider. I may be going out of chronological order, but I am glad I saw this movie last. The only thing that makes this a tough sell is the fact that this is not the story of Shin Hayata and the Space Patrol from the original series; this the story of Shinji Kaminaga and the SSSP. The cast may have many spiritual similarities to their counterparts, and having something unique makes it easier for me to judge this movie on its own without constantly comparing, but it might not be what long-time fans want. Still, as something original, I say that this movie is completely worth your watch.

 MAW Superman 07 & 08: Remember & Survive!  Somehow this show just keeps finding ways to get even better! Multiverse confirming different Lois's and Supermen, including all their classic iterations! Myxie is now the evil anime god he was always meant to be. Kryptonite and Krypton dropped! And oh, be still my shipping heart~!! But then, one bad day can ruin you. If it doesn't make you into a terrible person, it can still ruin your day and everything else.

But when it comes to making covers that SHOULD have been made in real life, maybe this is what AI is really for!  Besides the vocal glitches and technical limitations, this is pretty much perfect. "Glorious Street ~Eiko No Michi~" (Path of Glory) by Florida Keys.

It's up on the street. 
Kamen Rider Double (W) was a great show with lots of great music, but there's only one song that is considered super rare. Everyone remembers the better song by Florida Keys, "Finger On The Trigger". However, this one-episode-wonder should never be forgotten. It's just as jazzy, hiphop, and catchy. You could only get this song by getting the Special CD Box, the soundtrack that contained all the music from the shows and movies. Some bonuses are worth paying double for.

Hi there, my crowd! For once, I have an even better reason for why this update is late! 

 I guess the biggest news about the week we just finished was... I am a Moderator now!  Such a big opportunity! Such a big responsibility! I honestly thought I might have to become one of the last members here before I earned such a title. However, here we are. And when it happened, I was getting messaged left and right about it! Settling into the position really killed most of my Weekend free time. 

 On top of that, I also had a fun outing! I got to get many clothes and a new Bluetooth speaker for my cellphone. Hope it lasts longer than the last one. It seems promising.  I got a new brown shirt, khaki/tan shirt, and a red shirt too! I really needed these items.

 Didn't get to watch any movies this past week, like I really wanted. Maybe I will be able to soon. I have two in mind, and I really can't wait! I just had a lot on my plate at the time.  Also, there's only one Geats episode this week. The fansubs haven't fully caught up yet.

 MAW Superman 5 & 6: Summon All Your...! And there it was. Cat's out of the bag. Lois figured it out and forced the truth out of Clark. ...And Jimmy knew all along? I kind of saw that coming, but was kind of hoping they might not go that route? Not that this terrible, just kind of kills some of the dramatic build up. Also, it feels like we are setting up some things. Was that a corrupt Lex? Are they sowing the seeds of Grodd? This cartoon just keeps getting better! They even had an alternate end for when Jimmy was at his lowest!

 King-Oh 23: Heavy Is The Crown!  I like how this episode ended. I was prepared for an obvious solution. Since Sentai is all about teamwork, I was expecting all 5 or 6 of the King-Ohgers to ban together to make the castle move; maybe make a train where the hold onto each other's shoulders or something. But no! Instead, we get donations from the people. And while this may seem silly on the outside, it's easy to miss the subtext. This is where Gira/Red REALLY wins against Racles. The former king never would have done something like this. Racles sees the people as tools. He wouldn't have asked for a donation of metal scraps. Racles might take it by force, but he most likely wouldn't have gotten that one vital piece he needs. The little boy who had it rushed it over because he knew Gira was asking for help. And above all, Racles would have never shared his victory with the people, but Gira did.

 King-Ohger 24: Weaponized History.  I always love it when Sentai decides to take its environment destruction and use it as part of the plot rather than magically reversing it just because the MOTW was defeated. I love how the A plot was a distraction for the much more meaningful B plot, and how it all came together. I cannot say what originally happened between humans and the Bugnarok, and it seems not even Jeramie fully knows. All he knows is that because he and those before him didn't do a better job of recording history, the Bugnarok have been designated as evil without a chance to prove otherwise. But while that is bad, Lord Deathnarok himself was too stubborn to take the chance to rewrite history and make the world better, even with Jeramie/Kumonos pouring out his soul to try and connect with him. He could have proven that the Bugnarok are misunderstood, but he chose to validate that villainous reputation by starting an extinction event. He was just too consumed with thoughts of revenge and destruction to see any other way. How sad.

 Geats 47: He Did It Again!  Despite the silly opening, we got some glorious moments. We got to see Keiwa as Tycoon basic form before going Bujin Shadow to defeat his old sponsor. We got to see a former villain use his powers again, but this time for a good cause. And the biggest highlight of all... Just when you thought he was shelved, Geats recreates a scene from the opening and sets himself free! However, did I miss a detail where someone said that Geats' reality is not actually real but a fabrication? I must have, because if not, I just discovered a plot hole. Why do the admins want to destroy this world if they are from the future? Wouldn't they be jeopardizing their own existence? Or maybe they don't actually want to destroy it all; they just want something else... For now, it doesn't matter.

The song has arrived! 
It was really hard choosing a good song from the various soundtracks for Kamen Rider Den-O. Just about all the vocal songs are well known or have been used in the show and movies in some way. So I decided to go a different route and use this song instead. It's the theme from the first Den-O movie, so it's not really rare per se. However, Den-O was really dead-set on recycling the songs "Climax Jump", "Double Action", and "Action Zero" as many times as possible. As such, this song will always hold a special place in my heart simply because it was something different. I wonder why this song was chosen, but more importantly, I wonder why this song also didn't get recycled to death.

I finally did it! I upgraded to Windows 11. 

For those that may have missed my weekly summary... Lately, Windows 10 has really been pushing me to get the free upgrade to Windows 11.
I had heard about it some time ago, but didn't get it because I had heard people saying it wasn't all that great yet.
...I never double checked any of those sources recently. I just went ahead and did it. 

Well, I did take a few days to make back-ups of all my important files and what not, just in case I needed to. Thankfully, the upgrade did NOT wipe my computer clean of personal stuff. In fact, the upgrade was VERY smooth! I was afraid I might mess something up and brick my computer.  But all is well. It's a bit of an adjustment getting use to the new buttons, layouts, and everything. However, I am quite enjoying everything right now.

Hey there, my crowd. Sorry this is late again. It happens.  I'll explain soon.

 The biggest thing I did this past week was purchase a new Sentai DVD boxset. I'm waiting for it to arrive right now.  It is expected to be here by Wednesday. Aba, aba, aba, aba, AbaRanger~!

 I also forgot to mention some things last week. I got a haircut and my mother hurt her back at work, but she is recovering.  Wasn't that serious.

 As for why this update is late, that's because I am currently cleaning up my computer making back-ups of my personal files. I have decided I am going to try to update my computer to Windows 11 on my own. Wish me luck, my crowd~ Also, because I've been busy doing this, no Superman or Tokusatsu this past week.

 [ 1 / 2 ] MOVIE TIME!  I recently saw Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse. ...Okay, so I know I said I'd watch Shin Kamen Rider, but this just became available on digital, and I HAD to see it! Gotta say, I felt things from this movie that I wasn't expecting. You can say multiverse movies are getting overdone, but I think this is one of the best stories so far. In the case of either going big or going home, it really went big. I didn't really see the artistic value in the first movie that other people were raving about, but I definitely saw it here. The tons of cameos and the tons of different art styles really put it in over the top. In an age where people complain that Marvel movies are all too similar, this genuinely felt different. And the biggest surprise of them all... I can't even tell you because it ruins the ending. In light of a certain writer's strike going on, I really hope this is one of the movies that gets its well deserved third film, cause I doubt anyone saw that coming. This movie felt even more like a comic book superhero movie than many other superhero movies, and I love it.

 [ 2 / 2 ] MOVIE TIME!  I also saw Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3. I enjoyed this movie. I knew we were finally going to explore Rocket Racoon's backstory, but that was a roller-coaster of all the best feels! It was nice that they tied the beginning to the Christmas special while not outright confirming it. The only weak element in the whole movie was Adam Warlock. They didn't really do much with him, but then again, it wasn't meant to be his movie. He was introduced, so I assume he is being saved for later. We even got one last look at a certain duck. And while this was really Rocket's movie, we got to see everyone growing and maturing in their own way too. I am going to miss these guys. We may see Star Lord or other characters in the future if we are lucky, but for now, their story is complete. Thank you Guardians; you were easily one of the best and somewhat unexpected part of the MCU. Next time... Shin Kamen Rider and something else. Not sure. Might be Dungeons & Dragons, might be Little Mermaid, might be a third option. I'll figure it out.

I don't know the full story here and I wish I did. All I know is there is a Sonic Adventure fan OST of some kind, but I can't find any more information on it.
