How goes it, my crowd? 

I recently got some new medicine that I am skeptical about. The last time I tried it, nothing happened. But that was because I was using some expired stuff. What I have now is fresh and I can feel a difference, but it'll still take a few weeks for it to work its magic completely.

Today, I did something I wasn't expecting. My mother needed my help since she over drafted. She didn't do a good job of keeping her spending records in order, and therefore she ended up spending more money than what she actually had in her bank account. Thankfully, she's not in trouble. Come next weekend when she gets paid again, she'll be fine. But she's been making some changes. With my advice, she changed her cable service, canceled her Netflix account, and is looking at other possible things to change as well.

Thanks to Toonami, I was able to see the end of The Promised Neverland, the 2nd season. From what I understand, the second season goes in a different direction than the manga. The first season was all ready hard enough for me to get into. The second one was better, but the ending felt a little rushed. There were details that could have been better explored. Overall, it kept my attention well enough, but the show just isn't for me.

Last of all, I got a smart watch to work. It's really jank, though. You'd think, as soon as you pair it with your smart phone, that it would take on the information from your phone and adjust accordingly. But this is a super cheap smart watch, and it is NOT fun to mess with. I could barely adjust the clock and calendar to the correct time and date. Heck, there's no option to change from AM to PM, at least I haven't found one so far. And the phone thinks it's in San Francisco because my actual location wasn't listed in the menu.  At least I can make and receive phone calls with it. That's all I really want it to do. Maybe some day I'll get a better one.
