Hello there, my crowd! Welcome to my Weekly Musings: Orange Edition.
[I ❤ JAPAN] -- [I ❤ THE COLOR RED] -- [I ❤ CELESTIA]
Feel free to leave a video request. Your video will eventually be featured in a future Weekly Musings entry!
Okay, 3, 2, 1, let's jam!
Time to go over the week's events, my crowd.
So what was the biggest thing to happen to me this week we just finished?
Can't say, to be honest. There was lots of trailers dropped for things I am hyped for, but mostly the world seemed celebrating Sonic's anniversary. There was a BIG concert event streamed directly to YouTube, with a full-on orchestra and everything!
And yes, there are Sonic trailers and content being dropped too. I think the hype is real. I feel like this year is the year the world starts to recover.
Despite everything, I ended up being my uncle's tech support guy on Sunday. He brought it up on Friday, and for a moment, I thought maybe he solved the issue himself. But you know what? It wasn't so bad! The only issue was that somehow, he managed to record a phantom CD.
I've NEVER seen this before. The CD had audio tracks on it; but when you try to make copies of the CD, all you get is corrupt data and MAYBE a low volume version of the 2nd track. I gave him some advice on what to do and I hope it works from there. I still think the best thing to do is to record the audio tracks to MP3 (or the format of his choice), save that to a USB flash drive, and use that to make CDs instead.
I got a haircut!
Really needed it too. It's not perfect, but it's better than other haircuts I've gotten from this saloon. I wish my stylist of choice was still working there...
NO MOVIE TIME THIS WEEK! Just couldn't find a good movie to watch this time. I've got a few on my list, though. Maybe next week.
Saber 40: Cutting God Down!
Well I certainly picked a fine time to take a break. Was Solomon always able to do that?! Was he always able to make people do his bidding like that?! Guess it doesn't matter, because this was the triumphant return of the big three, and I do mean triumphant. I am happy with the way they defeated him. Xross Saber was all ready powerful enough, but adding the power of the other two just made it overkill. But now I'm sitting here tempted to see what's next... Also kind of wondering if the fanbase is getting tired of final and pre-final bosses that are just hysterically evil for evil's sake.
Zenkaiger 16: Of Birds and Boys.
Why is Stacey calling himself Ash Ketchum? Jokes aside, I liked how the MOTW has a samurai design. I totally get what they were going for. I also really like Kaito/Zenkaizer; he proved just how nice and humble he is in this. Furthermore, I am glad Stacey didn't go full traitor yet. He may have given the Zenkaigers an opportunity, but they still won the battle on their own. And what a surprise to find out the evil bird character is actually a tactical genius! He even saw through Stacey's lies. Makes me wonder if he and the big leader of Tojitendo are more closely related to Kaito/Zenkaizer than we know...
That's it for now, my crowd.
Take care, and stay healthy.
I have a deep appreciation for history. Even though people didn't really begin to get invested in the internet for private use at home until the mid 90's, it has existed much longer than we realize. And because of this, internet-technology has existed longer than we realize as well. So as we look forward to what's new on the video game horizon, remember... Technology like this walked so our modern conveniences could run. This is "SEGA Mega Modem: Ahead of Its Time | Gaming Historian".
