Hello there, my crowd! Welcome to my Weekly Musings: Orange Edition.
[I ❤ JAPAN] -- [I ❤ THE COLOR RED] -- [I ❤ CELESTIA]
Feel free to leave a video request. Your video will eventually be featured in a future Weekly Musings entry!
You raise me up so I can stand on mountains~
How goes it, my crowd? Talk about the week past? Talk about the week past.
I guess the biggest news to report is that I turned a scam into a success story. I got scammed on eBay recently trying to buy some jean buttons. I looked before I leapt, and got tricked by a bad seller. Thankfully, after reporting it to eBay staff, I was able to get a refund. First time I've ever had a good experience with eBay staff in a long time.
Not only that, I was able to find what I wanted at my local Walmart for the same price, so I was able to turn this experience into a good thing! And for those wondering, yes, I was able to successfully install the button and it works great. My favorite pants, my red pants, fit even better and look wonderful on me!
MOVIE TIME! As I wait for other things to drop, I am finally getting back into the groove of movies. First up, Disney Pixar's Up. I feel like I'm going to remember this movie for a long, long time. I was inspired to watch it because of how much people keep talking about it, and a close friendly highly recommended it. If you can forgive the questionable physics of a house being flown by millions of balloons, you're going to love this. No element is under used, no character feels like a 1-dimensional stereotype, and every piece of comedy is earned. It's not all happy moments; there is danger and some surprisingly rough moments, but it all serves to make the happy ending feel truly earned as well. True no movie is perfect, and I could mention some flaws or some predictable moments, but doing so would be disingenuous. This is a good movie, it's perfect for it's target audience, it kept me guessing in a few areas, and it may be a while before there is another movie like it. Well done again, Disney. When you make a good movie, you really make a good one.
Zenkaiger 19: Beatles and Beasts?
This is an episode that is clearly going to appeal more to Japanese childhoods than Western ones, as bug hunting isn't really a thing that crosses all international boarders. The true highlight was seeing a copy of Zenkaiser's parents awaken to give their son a little help. We only got a glimpse of a new Super Form, but you better believe I want to see more!
Saber 43: No Time for a Disaster.
Ladies and gentlemen, this is the story of Desast. Though he was born a monster, a Megid, he was not defined by it. He wanted to see how far power could take him, but most importantly, he wanted to make something of his life before his eventual destruction. I originally thought that Kenzan's story was ultimately filler that made no major impact on the story, but ultimately Kenzan was necessary to complete Desast's story. Now his legacy will live on in Kenzan, a Rider who now carries Falchion's sword. Furthermore, I am suddenly hyped to see where this final boss is going. Do we have a FMA:B situation on our hands?!
That's it for now, my crowd.
Take care, and grab your net.
The following was requested by @Treeglow Flicker . I don't know much about the anime/manga Paradise Kiss. I felt like I knew even less when I learned it was about fashion and character drama, which doesn't really appeal to the kinds of anime titles I am usually into. So all I can say based on this song, the show's opening theme, is that it's very fitting. Honestly, I'm more into that ending theme by rock band Franz Ferdinand; yeah! But by itself, this isn't bad. It's like a mix of Lady Gaga, jpop, and a bittersweet ballad. If any of those things appeals to you, then you might have a hard time getting this one out of your head. This is "Lonely in Gorgeous" by Tommy February6.

Glad you liked that! Celestia does make me feel that way.
Why did you not like the twist villain? Because he was Mr. Fredricksen's hero?
@ExplosionMare I am glad too. Still a little embarrassed that I leap into buying without catching all the warning signs, but it was still a happy ending in the end.
You too, my friend.
And I've always got some tea just for you.
