This has been an interesting week so far.
I saw Masters of the Universe: Revelation (Part I) recently. All I can say is... Wow. It got DARK!
Some might like their light-hearted 80's cartoon having a darker conclusion, but even if it does turn you off, at least remember that this is just the first part. There is a chance that the other parts will be far better by comparison. And that's basically where I am at right now, cautiously waiting for more and hoping that the next part is better than the first.
Also, I am happy to report that a friendship that previously seemed like it was going south has been repaired. We aren't pretending like it never happened, but we are definitely being respectful, and things are much happier and healthier now. So I'm glad to report that.
It's good to know that in a community like this, there is still a thing called hope. I've met many other fandoms where hope just doesn't exist.

@Kujamih The cheesy moments are what sold me, I just hope the dark ending has a good payoff in the next part.
But at least we are both enjoying it.

It was very touch and go at first, I will admit. But I am glad things are better, and I'm honestly surprised myself. I'm not use to things going this way. Usually, when friendships go south, I am use to them ending permanently. So this was a nice change of pace.
