    How goes it, my crowd? :)

    I recently saw the G5 trailer. And... I am confused? :huh: If the 3 pony races use to be united, what divided them? Did the races never intermingle and make families together, or did time just really manage to separate them? They each seem harmless, so why are they all afraid of each other? I don't get it!
    I've been hearing people say that this story might be set a long time after the reign of Twilight Sparkle. Honestly, if that's true, then that's sad. It means all the work Twilight and her friends did to unite Equestria and the various races and species was all for nothing. It's just a never ending story of separation and reunion. What's the point?
    The story actually makes MORE sense if this movie is not connected to G4 at all, and things like the little figurines of the Mane 6 is just Hasbro's way of saying "Yep, we made that previous generation too, remember that?". It wouldn't be perfect, but at least it wouldn't be changing the universe we followed for 9 seasons. ... Also, I wouldn't be questioning the technology development timeline either.

    But over all, I probably will watch this when it comes out. I was curious before, now I'm morbidly curious.

      All will hopefully be revealed when it comes out. I’d be quite ticked off if they don’t acknowledge what happened to the Mane Six and what caused the pony races to split up. :dry:

      @TomDaBombMLP Me too, if this movie really is suppose to be sequel to the TV show. I still think it would be better to be something completely new, disconnected from G4 completely. Otherwise, why call it G5? At that point, you might as well call it G4.5. :huh:
