Hello there, my crowd! Welcome to my Weekly Musings: Red Edition.
[I ❤ JAPAN] -- [I ❤ THE COLOR RED] -- [I ❤ CELESTIA]
Feel free to leave a song request. Your song will eventually be featured in a future Weekly Musings entry!
Hey there, my crowd.
Sorry that this is a day late. You'll see why in a moment~
I wasn't avoiding posting this, but the forum went wacko over the weekend with glitches, and it' still not back to being perfect. But I can't put this off any longer, so here I am. Let's just make the most of this.
Can't say the week I just finishes was all that great. Saw some trailers! Aninamiacs, MLP G5, and Sonic. The MLP trailer has me worried and conflicted, but I am still going to see it regardless. Hopefully, it'll answer all my burning questions.
I do have additional thoughts, but I'm wasting energy over a trailer at this point. Other then that, it really was a slow, uneventful week.
[ 1 / 2 ] MOVIE TIME! This week, I took a break from tokusatsu, so I watched two movies instead. First up... -THE- SUICIDE SQUAD. I had fun! It's no surprise that I am beginning to sympathize with those who hate to see their favorite fictional characters killed off. Be it lesser-known villains, side characters, etc. If they weren't meant to be canon fodder, if they weren't meant to die off in an unceremonious way, then I hate when it happens casually. That being said, I actually think some of that works here. It's hard to explain other than I actually had WAY more fun watching this movie than the previous one. Bloodsport is better than Deadshot, Harley is actually kind of fun to follow and a bit more in character, a certain lesser-known character is made epic, etc. Even if this movie is under the flag of the Snyder Verse, either because of James Gunn or by virtue of this being the Suicide Squad, I'd say they darker elements of this movie actually work here. Though a little gruesome, I might not mind watching this again sometime. The only sad part was the teased sequel bait at the end. Something tells me we're not going to get it, but feel free to prove me wrong.
[ 2 / 2 ] AND THE OTHER MOVIE! BLACK WIDOW. Normally, I don't care for movies and stuff like this. If you know the fate of the character, if you've seen that fate play out, it's hard to go back and enjoy one of their stories after the fact. However, this is one of the few times where I was pleasantly surprised and enjoyed this. I thought this was actually a really good movie! Where The Suicide Squad gave me action and fun, this gave me action and the wholesome feels. But I watched it hoping it could answer a simple question: Is Black Widow actually dead? So far, it seems so. And sorry to Marvel, but the sequel they are setting up doesn't seem as promising as they think it does. I could be wrong, these Marvel movies have consistently proven me wrong so far. However, if what I've heard is true about Scarlet Johanson not getting paid for this role, then it's even more hard to say if she's coming back or not. Next time... Finding Dory.
And that's basically it. Like I said, I decided to take a break from Tokusatsu. Don't worry, I'll be going back to it this week. Also, I was originally going to see Black Widow & Snake Eyes, but the later wasn't available for streaming just yet. I'll get to it later. Either way, watching these movies side-by-side equaled a more fun time than I expected.
That's all for now, my crowd.
Take care, and stay casual.
I am not sure if this was a request or not, but it was suggested by @Ragland Tiger. I decided to use the studio version. This song is more of a bluesy ballad, but it's over 8 minutes of gold. Even more then that if you go by the live version. It's not bad, really! In the right mood, it really takes you away. Gives me even more of a reason to get the album, Don't Explain. This is "I'd Rather Go Blind" by Beth Hart and Joe Bonamassa.

Hello my Samurai :>
Except this sonic trailer I saw all of those too :>
So now I need a random fact ... pondering .. how about this one
The sum of angles of a triangle is 180° only on a plane (Euclidean Geometry). If you have a triangle on a sphere the sum is greater and on a hyperbolic surface it's smaller than 180°.

@TomDaBombMLP It was just an announcement that Sonic was appearing in the new Super Monkey Ball.
@Astral Soul Nice!
Gonna use that somewhere. Also, bald eagles aren't really bald.
