    Strange, right? :wau: It's like some combination of CallArts/Pony Life/Rick & Morty style.
    Poor Izzy got the worst of it. No idea why Hitch has man chin, but okay. Sunny and Pipp are acceptable. Zipp seems to have the best design, which makes me wonder... Why is she the only one with an actual snoot? She actually looks the most like a pony. Why can't the others look like this? :mlp_wat: I am so confused...

    Putting this part under spoilers, just in case no one has seen the movie yet...

    But I like how Sunny's rainbow hair streak is still there. Guess this means the ethereal wings and horn are not permanent features after all! Here's hoping for a magical transformation sequence when she needs them. :ticking:

    Just to be clear: I DON'T HATE THESE DESIGNS! It's just going to take some getting use to...
    I may need to see them in motion; more than what's in these promotional videos. In one of the pictures above, it looks like they'll have some dynamic movement animations, so we may see them from many angles.

    Last thing to clarify, it's not all going to be 2D. There's also going to be some 3D animation, just like in the movie.
    I'm not sure which is going to be the main TV show, but I'm hoping the 3D animation is the main one. And yes, they had to recast the voices. I knew it would happen. Hiring celebrities is just too expensive, especially when one is helping Sonic the Hedgehog right now. :twismile:

    ...My mind is just all over the place right now. Between this and the Rescue Rangers trailer that dropped earlier, it's like this week is REALLY trying to mess with my head or test my patience. :okiedokieloki: As for my thoughts on said Rescue Rangers trailer? ...It's not what I expected, that's for sure. I blame the awesome DuckTales reboot for giving the Rescue Rangers this chance. However, that movie is either going to be surprisingly brilliant, or it's going to be a terrible movie pretending to be brilliant.

      That 2D design is the angriest I've been at Hasbro since that bloody PL monstrosity. Why does every cartoon show have to look like that? It's f***ing hideous! :angry:

      As for the voice cast, I knew they couldn't stick with the movie actors because that would increase the budget drastically. Some people have said though and I agree that why would they go through the hassle of hiring A-list actors if they're just going to replace them straight away? :twi: Can you imagine if the G4 movie did that?

      I may be wrong on this but I think the 2D show will only be relegated to YouTube, the 3D show will be the one that's official and from what they've shown, it looks the same as the movie. It's as if they didn't know which of the two styles to use so they just said 'Screw it. We'll do both!' :ButtercupLaugh:

      It won't be the same without Donut Lord. :mlp_smug:

      Not going to lie.  I hate the 2D designs lol.  I can’t pick a single thing about the designs that I like.   The only saving grace is the fact the main show will still be 3D.   If it weren’t for that then the movie would have been the last thing in G5 I’d have to do with
