  1. Hello there, my crowd! Welcome to my Weekly Musings: Orange Edition. :mlp_icwudt:

    [I ❤ JAPAN] -- [I ❤ THE COLOR RED] -- [I ❤ CELESTIA]

Police STOP - Emoticon Point Right Feel free to leave a video request. Your video will eventually be featured in a future Weekly Musings entry! Point Left STOP - Emoticon Police

Can you truly call it a cat if it doesn't purr? 203133.gif Let's cover another week passed, my crowd.

sun.png.8ab21d7000bfb88f283da8c5e2f104cc.png The biggest thing that happened this week was me embarking on a mystery. I've been organizing my YouTube favorites into categories and I ran into a mystery video. Not sure why or how I have it. :ooh: I'll ask my uncle about it since he is big on music, but if that ends up being a dead-end, I'll delete it from my favorites.

twi.png.f9a8f7839a12a89136cd0641ade8efb0.png Also, I went to KFC recently and was very disappointed. They didn't have the new item they've been advertising in their commercials; and their regular chicken is so bad that I'm not sure going back will be worth it. :yeahno:

sun.png.8ab21d7000bfb88f283da8c5e2f104cc.png After learning about Toonami doing a huge episode skip, and after much evaluation, I am now watching One Piece episodes in an attempt to stay up-to-date so that I can finally catch up with Toonami. I do not like missing out on anything, and One Piece has a way of making its filler episodes come around into something important again. I am still watching other things, but I leaned off Gridman a little to help get a big head start on One Piece. I won't be commenting on that show, just know that I am watching it. :proud: Also, next week will be the week I finish Gridman. Apparently its western adaptation, Superhuman Samurai, has MORE episodes than the original series. ...How is that possible?

twi.png.f9a8f7839a12a89136cd0641ade8efb0.png GRIDMAN! HB4hUOc.png Episode 31; the episode where Kahn Digifer gets a few degrees more stupid by allowing himself to be uploaded to a floppy disc and not even trying to mind control the random girl that found her, the police officer doesn't arrest Takeshi for nearly assaulting a child, and how in the world does he see Kahn traveling through the power lines when no one else does? Top it all off, the random girl just throws away the floppy and investigates no further. My brain hurts. Episode 32, before there was the Roomba, there was the evil vacuum, though one guy among the extra kind of deserved his punishment. (Also, for some reason, the mistranslations feel ESPECIALLY strong here.) Episode 33, Takeshi gets a glimpse of what could have been thanks to his doppelganger, and he hates it. (But at least the actor had fun.) Episode 34; hard pass. Save whatever brain cells you have left and skip this one. I know this show really wants you to forget how technology works sometimes, but this episode REALLY goes above and beyond, and the mistranslations only make it worse. THIS IS THE EPISODE THAT BROKE ME!!!

sun.png.8ab21d7000bfb88f283da8c5e2f104cc.png ReVice 19: Facing Your Demons! nynjRij.png Yep, I'm invested. I am enjoying seeing Hiromi's backstory. I knew we would expand on it sooner or later, including his Henshin Belt. We finally learn it wasn't meant for him and that it is indeed ruining his health. Worst of all, it's possessed! Ikki/Revi is getting better at seeing through mysteries faster. And cherry on top, there is a secret about Fenix to be uncovered.

twi.png.f9a8f7839a12a89136cd0641ade8efb0.png ReVice 20: Demon Deferred! 357335.png It never gets better seeing humans sacrificed beyond salvation. I am convinced that Revice, with their new power up, could easily pull humans out of their new Gifftarian form. Maybe I am wrong; maybe it really is too late. But even if I'm right, you can't blame Ikki/Revi for going after Olteca instead. Save Chigusa, and Olteca gets away to carry on the Deadmans ambitions. Defeat Olteca, and Chigusa dies because a less-capable Rider has to put her down. No matter what you chose, you're still going to lose. I hope Tatsuhiko can forgive Hiromi for not being able to save their mutual friend. If I was in Hiromi's place, I'd make Tatsuhiko the new vice commander.

sun.png.8ab21d7000bfb88f283da8c5e2f104cc.png ReVice 21: Olteca's Web! nynjRij.png My jaw is on the floor. Weekend. Olteca as Kamen Rider Demons, and he's way more powerful this way. The Fenix airship is down! And poor Hiromi actually made good on his promise to lay down his life, and he did so to give Ikki and the rest a warning about Fenix. The plot just keeps twisting and turning, and I love it. I don't fully trust this new organization called Weekend, but then again, Fenix has much to answer for right now.

twi.png.f9a8f7839a12a89136cd0641ade8efb0.png Zenkaiger The Movie: Full Power Take 2! bitgear_32.png This movie came out at the beginning of the series, but it's only just now that it's being subbed. Still, this is FAR better than the short introduction movie we got for ReVice. For one, it gives us a peek into what Zenkaiger could have been if it was written just a BIT more like a traditional Super Sentai. Magine actually using magic?! That alone is worth it. They are more confident and capable; not that there was anything wrong with a group of rookies still learning their powers. Second, this alone gave me the All Sentai team-up I was hoping for all along. Third, it's partially canon. Not completely, but enough to be referenced again both in the series and in another special. Rediscovering this show through a different lens makes it totally worth it.

sun.png.8ab21d7000bfb88f283da8c5e2f104cc.png And now, it's... TOKUSATSU MOVIE SPECIAL TIME! dawswur-b623def6-6fd1-44ef-94bc-ee3a54bc We're back at it with ReVice Mystery 4. This is a genuinely good series. It may have had its lulls here and there, but this was a great episode. It was genius how they put all the clues together. They basically asked the audience to pay attention to all the visual clues, no matter how small. I am sure you could poke some logical holes in the villain's scheme, but for what it was worth, this has shaped up to be a pretty good mystery. And who would have guessed that the secret mastermind was actually the lead lady this whole time?!

twi.png.f9a8f7839a12a89136cd0641ade8efb0.png If you're wondering why so much ReVice this week... There has been no word by any fansub groups at large if Don Brothers will be subbed or not. So in the meantime, I am going extra on ReVice to hopefully catch up faster. Stay tuned. ;)

That's it for now, my crowd. B) Take care, and exercise patience.

I never expect it, but I always love it when this channel makes a surprisingly good animation. This is "Sonic vs Robo" by Mashed.
