    Once not long ago,

    There was a nice fellow that really wanted to strike up a fun conversation, but he didn't know what to talk about.

    ...He fell asleep thinking about it.
    When he awoke, everyone was gone. His mission was a failure.

      It IS good. I'm just not the right audience for it. But there are TONS of people who like stories that end on a dark note like that. :)
