Well, my crowd... G5 is upon us. (NO SPOILERS! Spoilers will be deleted.)
Until I actually see it, let me tell you about the journey I went on. 

I saw Pony Life. All of it. Here are my thoughts. For those that don't want spoilers, I'm putting it behind a spoiler tag just in case. I don't think I spoil anything beyond a basic description of the show, but I'll be considerate just in case.

Over all, I don't think this show was made for us. It was made just for the sake of being cute. It was made for toddlers. It was made for people with 2-second attention spans. It was made for people who like reboots like Teen Titans Go. It was made as a filler between G4 and G5. But speaking of...

I saw something related to Pony Life. It wasn't episodes, but it was a series of specials.

This week is starting off with an interesting discovery for me. I began Pony Life today. I was SHOCKED at what I found! 
How did this show go on for 2 seasons?! It's also got another season's worth of bonus material. I thought it'd just be a handful of episodes; one season at best.

Oh well. I can do this. I still have a few days 'til the G5 premiere. And if need be, I can always delay seeing it for a couple of days after the premiere until I'm fully caught up. No big deal. I managed to binge 20 episodes in one day. How much time could I possibly need?

Another unexpectedly big week?! WOW!  Let's talk about it, my crowd.

 Biggest thing that happened to me this week? ...Eh, nothing really. Everyone's waiting for the premiere of G5, which means I'm doing my best to avoid any spoilers. Which of course means avoiding using the majority of this forum, avoiding status updates talking about it, and avoiding the majority of videos about it appearing on YouTube. Because I do plan to see it; I just don't want to be spoiled.  Read the Ducktales paragraph for more info.

 SO MUCH SONIC NEWS~! Oh my gah~  The 30th Anniversary orchestra concert is getting an official album release and so is Sonic Colors Ultimate! Right now it's just digital and vinyl, but knowing Sonic, physical releases won't be far behind. That new song by Dreams Come True finally has a music video. There's crossovers too. G Fuel is releasing a new Sonic flavor, and Sonic is now appearing in the mobile game Cookie Run. Can it get any better?

 Many things are getting released and announced know. Speaking of video games, besides all the video games that been announced or teased, Deltarune Chapter 2 was released! I did NOT expect that! It's been so long, I forgot all about it. Now it's time for the hype to come back! I'm glad to see the Aquaman movie is getting a sequel; let's hope it's even better than the last. Hawkeye is getting a mini series. And while it may be a Netflix exclusive, I am excited for "Komi Can't Communicate"! 

 DUCKTALES 2017, Season 2.  Continuing with the random thoughts I had from watching this season: I love when this show digs into the old Disney library. Let's go, Three Caballeros! And of course, they would do a time-traveling episode. I bet David had a blast recording that. Darn it Donald, why you gotta ruin a perfect reunion?! That Darkwing Movie episode really shows the precarious nature of reboots and Hollywood corporate meddling, but also reinvents Negaduck in a cool new way. Did they SERIOUSLY just make a DBZ joke?! It's good to see the kids learning lessons, but it was way better seeing Louie finally learn his. And that season finale was even more grand than the last! Can't wait to watch S3, but I must. Because before I do, it's time for Pony Life followed by... G4! It's pony time.

 Zenkaiger 27: All Search, No Treasure.  Kind of sad, really. I actually wanted Kaito/Zenkaiser to find his mother in this episode. I was honestly expecting a complete double bluff, where it looks like they failed only to find she was on Earth the entire time. I guess I should be happy that they are building up to a great reunion, but this one time I actually wanted the heroes to have this one. Oh well, the show must go on. Also, I totally predicted Magine was impersonating Mitsuko as soon as I saw her mannerisms.

How goes it, my crowd? 

I learned the Aquaman movie is getting a sequel. Glad about that; hopefully it'll be a ride and a half. Well, as long as it'll be better then that HBO Aquaman cartoon, I'll be happy.

As we get closer to the premiere of G5, as spoilers start sprouting out of every corner, I'm beginning to wonder if I should put Ducktales on pause to catch Pony Life. It's a much shorter series, and it just seems appropriate. 

I feel like there should be more to report on, but I can't really think of anything else.

How goes it, my crowd? 

What an interesting week this has turned out to be for me. I'm still watching Ducktales. I've all ready watched over half of Season 2. One more week, and I'll have seen Season 3 and completed my journey. It's been very interesting to see how far I could get with a TV show. Makes me feel more inspired to maybe check out other TV shows I've missed along the way. Maybe they won't be such a challenge after all. But what should I consider next? Star Vs? Gravity Falls? Am I brave enough to see Netflix' Voltron?

Also, this has been a week of trailers. Most of them are game trailers, and I don't really care about that. One of them was kind of disappointing, really. But the two trailers I was most excited to see was for the anime "Komi Can't Communicate" and "Hawkeye". I guess if Black Window can get a movie, he can get a mini series. Which reminds me; there is a LOT of Marvel TV shows and mini series that I've missed out on... I wonder how many of those are must-sees?  I really only care about the ones that might be tied in to the actual MCU.

Sorry this is a day late, my crowd. I just ran out of time.  Shall we just leap right into what happened last week?

 The biggest thing that happened last week was I had a day off because of Labor Day.  I deeply enjoyed it, but it always feels weird when you have an extended vacation. Tuesday feels like a Monday, you're not quite in the work groove like you use to be, etc.

 The second biggest thing was I got a free video game from a friend!  Was NOT at all expecting that! It's rather basic and I need to put some time in to playing it. I doubt regular play will unlock all the options, but we'll see.

 I just finished Ducktales (2017 Reboot) Season 1!  Here are some random notes I made about random episodes: I like how they re-contextualize Donald's different outfits; hope they do that for Scrooge. Gyro is rather ominous. Webby's friend is pretty cool. Interesting that we're seeing more of Donald's family. Pretty cool Gizmoduck is a season 1 character, and that Darkwing was teased in the same episode. Finally saw the evil ponies episode. Were the kids ever this developed in the original series? I want to say they weren't. Love how even when they kill off a character, they never truly kill them off. I actually like how Gizmoduck is Latin. Magica really knows how to build up suspense for her eventual arrival. ...And BOOM! Now that's how you do a season finale! Defeat the evil you've been building up to all this time, tease the next season, and go all out on animation budget. (@Sparklefan1234)

 Zenkaiger 26: Full Drama Non-Stop!  What a powerful episode. We've been waiting for this one. Stacaesar being modified into a cyborg is also a call back to vintage Sentai. His modifications means a new kind of arsenal for him to play with. Amazing how they made the black repaints of the main giant robot canon. But of course, the real gem is the drama. Kaito/Zenkaiser struggling to see if he should end Stacaesar or not, the fact that his mom has been set free and is making a run for it, and perhaps the possibility that maybe Stacaesar helped set it up in the first place? We'll have to see!

 I have not yet finished collecting all the tokusatsu extras just yet, but soon! And hopefully, I'll talk about that next week.

How goes it, my crowd? 

Well, today was an odd and unexpected day. I got a code for a golfing video game from a friend! They didn't want it, and I need more games on my computer to play, so it all worked out. Thank you my dear friend, wherever you are. An old me would have shrugged it off, but the new me is trying to embrace new things.

And also, I am rather annoyed with the last time I purchased Curbside Pickup for groceries. They changed the system! Now if I need to make any changes to my order, they won't call me. I have to call a number myself, give them a code to confirm who I am, and all matters are run through some middle man that doesn't even work in the correct department!  Why are they doing this? It's so unintuitive. Hope they fix this next time.

I'm still watching Ducktales. By the end of this week, I'll have finished S1 of the Ducktales reboot. Maybe I'll be able to start S2 while I'm at it. Was not expecting Fenton/Gizmoduck to be Latin-inspired, but I like it! 

I've been waking up with headaches all week...  Hope that's not something I need to worry about.

Labor Day has come and gone for me, and so has my 4 day vacation. However, I had fun! I got to end my vacation with a soda and a trip to Subway, which I deeply enjoyed.

I also marathoned some more Ducktales episodes. Woo-oo! The evil water ponies. Finally got to see that episode they appeared in.  If you close your eyes, you can almost pretend it's MLP:FIM.

Crazy how things can go from slow and uneventful to suddenly FULL of activity, am I right my crowd?  Let's talks about it!

 So I guess the biggest thing to happen is kind of a two-part thing that I'll talk about in my next weekly summary too. Monday will be Labor Day, so I took off Friday just so I could have a 4 day vacation. And yeah, I did get to rest and do some fun things, but there was still worked to be done. I'll explain more down below, but at least I got some awesome things out of it! 

 What did I get, you ask? The biggest thing is, I finally purchased a paint splatter hat that I've had my eye on for a while. Bought it on Amazon, and it'll arrive eventually. As a side surprise, I also got some more ink for my printer, thanks to my mother. Wonderful! Kind of a gift since I ended up sacrificing some of my free time.  More on that down below.

 NO MOVIE TIME THIS WEEK! And that's because I tired to watch Ducktales this week; tried being key word. I was doing good at the start! I saw 6 episodes; two episodes each day between Monday through Wednesday. I was SUPPOSE to see double that. However, the tail end of the week got away from me. Thursdays I stream on Discord, which eats my free time. Friday night ended with technical difficulties that prevented me from watching more episodes, and it wouldn't stop until my computer slept for the night. Saturday, my mother needed some help. She spent the day remodeling her house, and I was more than happy to help. (Got free ink out of it though!) And the usual Sunday was my day to watch Tokusatsu, so that left no time to watch Ducktales either. HOWEVER!! This was just a trial run. And I have found that during regular weekday evenings, I can fit in WAY more than 2 episodes. So expect much greater progress in the days to come, especially thanks to Monday. 

 This week was Kamen Rider Fourze's 10th Anniversary! IT'S SPACE TIME!!!  Normally I don't care about specific shows like this one, but it's special to me, and it's funny because I've been streaming it as of recently on Discord for some of my friends to see. It's kind of bitter sweet because we may never see the full cast return for a Fourze reunion special; some has retired and one of the cast members joined a crazy religious cult. However, a large chunk of the staring cast did reunite to sing a cover of "Giant Step", one of the insert songs from the show. It's nice knowing not all hope is lost~.

 Saber Extra Chapter: One Last Slice!  Huh. Rintaro/Blades and Mei. Who knew? Can't say I saw that coming... So this is the bonus episode, the happily ever after special, the one that pads out the episode count. Can't say I particularly liked it since it was just a stretched-out goodbye for the characters. I would have preferred more plot, like maybe explaining how Touma/Saber survived and set things straight from the last episode. But really, this episode has two other strengths. It shows that in the spirit of Heisei's final half, Reiwa will also be a somewhat connected universe also! And I think this might also be an upgrade. Before, we never had Rider doing hand-offs like Super Sentai. Then the new Rider would make teaser appearances in the previous Rider's movie. Now we're doing entire episodes dedicated to the hand-off? What an upgrade! For now, please continue reading to see my full thoughts...

 Zenkaiger 25: Watch Your Step Back.  25 episodes; the typical halfway point in any 50-episode long series. I guess this would be a fine place to put a flashback episode, though some would prefer it much later. I just prefer flashback episodes to have SOMETHING that advances the story, but that wasn't here. In fact, this episode shows Tojitendo at their dumbest. They really sent one of their monsters back in time without any way of confirming his identity to his superiors?! And I thought they had a brilliant scientist on their team. Oddly enough, that's what helps our heroes out, because Secchan can confirm his identity far more easily. And yet, considering what's about to happen in my life, a flashback episode seems very appropriate right now...

 My final thoughts on Kamen Rider Saber, minus the movies since I haven't seen them all...  This show is a mixed bag. In the beginning, it had an idea of the story it wanted to tell, but it was all over the place in terms of getting there. At one point, I swear they were building up a different kind of story. It was very disorganized, and only somewhat Rider-traditional in certain areas. By the later half, things started getting more focused. Stories that they built up to were beginning to have their payoffs. Dare I say, there were actually good moments. Once again, I hesitate to say anything negative about it because it premiered during COVID season. To some, this show was just what they needed in dark, uncertain times. To those that loved the show, great! Happy for you. However, I was really scared. The first half of the season was WAY heavy on green screen and CGI, to the point where there was little to no live action stuff. I was afraid that this would be the new direction Tokusatsu takes for a while. Thankfully, that was not the case. Vaccines have made things better. We're still not out of danger, but it's now much easier to film out doors and wear masks less often. This was a ride paved with swords and stories. Some stories had a perfect end, some did not. Let's hope that ReVice reminds us what this brand is all about while still doing something fresh.

 Sadly with a heavy heart, this is where I have to take a break from Kamen Rider for a while.  It just feels right. As of right now, things are uncertain. There is no fansub group tackling ReVice that is dedicated to it. One group that I am rooting for is uncertain if they want to do it long term. Another group is bad that uses amateur subbing practices. A third is a sub group trying to fix the mistakes of the previous group, but their subs are out of sync. Over-Time seems to be watching themselves, so Zenkaiger is their only project for now. Last of all, backwards legal actions strike again, forcing Berndadelta Fansubs to change the way they release things. I think at this point, I'd rather go back and collect all the fansubbed movies and specials I missed out on previously. Now might be the best chance to get them before they disappear completely. I've become lack and complacent about all these things I want to see, so now it's time for me to make things right. Maybe in 3 to 5 weeks, we'll see what happens with me and ReVice. This is not the end, just a detour in the Ride of life.

What a change! Seems the status update glitch has been fixed! WOO-HOO!! 

I've been watching Ducktales on and off. Not as often this week as I thought I would, but I still watch it. This week has been a trial run for me, and I've learned some things from it. I think I know to make it work. So while I might not have watched as many episodes as I liked this week, I now know how to make the process go by faster.

Guess I should mention... I bought a new hat for myself.  It may take a while to get to me because of Amazon's cheapest shipping method, but it will arrive eventually. And I learned that the cast of Kamen Rider Fourze released something special in honor of the show's 10th anniversary.

Did I mention I took Friday off? Because I have Monday (Labor Day) off as well. So I thought: Why not make it a 4 day weekend?

My week is starting off pretty good so far.

Nothing too exciting, but I do hope @Sparklefan1234 will be happy when I report... I have started watching the Ducktales reboot.  Today, I only saw the first 3 episodes. I'll watch more tomorrow. Gyro seems so evil~ Not sure if I would have watched this as a kid. I didn't care for the first Ducktales, but I do like the lore they are building up.

Lazy days are back again, my crowd~  Shall I talk about it?

 Nothing super huge happened this week, but a lot of wonderful things happened all at once.  Sonic Colors: Rise of the Wisps concluded. Spider-Man: No Way Home trailer dropped. I am learning more big, influential people in Hollywood are becoming fans of Tokusatsu. And I made a pretty awesome taco salad dinner for my family. I am just glad they really enjoyed it.

 Likewise, there was some odd moments. Matrix 4 is happening, and so is the Netflix live action Cowboy Bebop (which just dropped production photos). Even if it looks good in some of the still images, consider it me scared and a little skeptical.  Oh, and I had to mow the lawn again, so I was exhausted from that. But if all of that is the worst the week had to offer, then I think I'll be good.

 MOVIE TIME!  This week, I saw PROMARE! I wouldn't be surprised if the art design and direction in this anime is what ultimately inspired Kamen Rider ReVice... Let me put it this way; if you want a fictional story about anime characters fighting a fantasy fire, and you want a more solid plot behind it, I'd say go watch Fire Force. However, if you want super robots, a ridiculous spectacle as big as Gurren Lagann, and just a fun stupid ride; then watch this movie. The story flies at you a million miles per second with the occasional plot hole, but at some point you realize that it's just so crazy that you're not suppose to bring too much logic into this. You're just suppose to enjoy the ride. Do that, and you'll have a wonderful time. Perhaps if this movie were a TV show, it would have more time to flush out its story and let you enjoy it better. But as a movie, as a one-off, it's not too bad. Next time... 

 Zenkaiger 24: Full Power Please Stop.  I've said this before; I'm sure it's really fun to goof off and do silly things in-suit like this, things that normally don't happen in an action show. However, this is one time where I feel like the silly just doesn't translate well into the audience's enjoyment. It's rare, but this was an episode where I honestly felt bored. There was a moment where it honestly didn't feel like I was watching tokusatsu anymore. I can't help but feel a Power Rangers adaption would scrap 95% of the footage here, but hopefully they might actually have a better plot.

 Saber 47: The Book is Closed!  And that's it, ladies and gentlemen. Another Masked hero has finished his Ride. Well, mostly. There is going to be crossover special after this, so I'll save my final summary thoughts for after that episode. But he finally did it. Touma/Saber swore that he would be the one to decide how this story ends, and he did. Even if the ending might not make full sense, it doesn't need to. It's his story, and he's the author. The kind of author that will always go for the happy ending. Also, did I see a Humagear in the audience? I genuinely hope those keep making cameos throughout this new Reiwa era.

 Not much else I need to say, other than I am going to try and get into a TV show that I previously missed. I have one show in mind, though it's a beast of nearly 70 episodes (unless there are some specials or bonus material I need to know about).  I watched Promare because I wasn't sure what movie I wanted to see next; and I figured that anime title would be random enough to give me some inspiration. Right now, the only thing I'm inspired to do is put movies on hold for a few weeks to give a TV show a chance. Guess we'll see.

Never been an Iron Maiden fan. However, it does my heart good knowing artists like this can still be popular even in this day and age. It does my heart DOUBLE good knowing that an old school music video like this can also get popular. Makes me feel like maybe rock is not dead in the pop charts just yet after all. Hey there, my crowd. How goes it? 

I want to get back into drawing. I am feeling creative after making a video for a streaming night, and now I want to create. I want to make something.

I also feel like I want to watch a cartoon series that I previously missed out on. I feel bad because @Sparklefan1234 wants me to be in on the Ducktales fun, and I missed it while it was on TV. Wish I could remember why I missed it...  If I had to guess, I probably didn't have channel that it was premiering on (or maybe I skipped because it wasn't Darkwing), and by the time I had the channel (or by the time they decided to make Darkwing part of the show instead of its own spinoff show), most of the show was done.

If I was going to make an effort to watch a TV show (because it's not the same as watching one movie or watching the latest Tokusatsu series), how should I do it?  Should I watch one or two episodes for most every weekday? Three weekdays are off limits because I have other things to do those days. I should stop watching movies to make room for this, but I don't really want to...
