Yes, FR! Did I forget to tell you about that? I absolutely adore it when anyone draws my character. It's especially meaningful when it's from a friend. Had to be careful, though. Had some company over a few times, and they almost saw the desktop. They don't know I'm a brony yet.

No need to worry. If we're all RPing, then I'm sure we all have a good sense of imagination. And that drawing is cute. Emerald Heart is a great artist! She drew a pic of my character, and it was my Desktop background for all of last month.

@Windy Breeze Trilby quiets her by putting a hoof over her lips in a 'shhh' motion. He gives her back her money, minus two bits, and then takes one of Shadow's hooves in his own. "Shadow, would you like to go out with me?" He says very bravely and suddenly. "I don't care that much about the hat or the money. It's just... I don't know, I feel something special about you, something special between us. You don't have to say yes, I know we met just yesterday. But I felt like taking a chance just in case I'm wrong. There is a concert happening today, and I'd really like for the both us to go to it, together." Trilby explains.

And hopefully, I won't have to again in the future. Hope everyone who had to stop temporarily remembered your place. You can always go back to the previous pages and read, if you forgot. The first major event has begun: Music Concert! Know any good songs? Got a YouTube Link? Here's a chance to give your OC some musical talent and share some of your favorite music jams as well. Same basic musical logic as the show, but as a concert! I decided to make this the first event as a way to slow things down and allow any new comers to the RP a chance to join. I don't know if anyone else will show up for this RP, but for now, think of this as a chance for the whole town to get to know each other better and have some fun. We'll do an even bigger story event on Day 3.

Messing with his magic box one more, he turns random dials and switches, until he gets a new magical projection. "Oh~! I hope it's not too late..." He takes a moment to make a phone call. "Yes, I'd like to issue a special event for first thing tomorrow... You can?! ... Arigato gozaimasu." Samurai hangs up the phone. The plans have been set in motion. ______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ DAY 2 Most of the town was in for a surprise. Over night and into the morning, construction workers have been quickly changing the town square. There are ads all over the place advertising a "Free, Open-Mic Concert" today! There's even people handing out fliers, and Samurai Equine is helping out with the production. There will be a town band ready with instrumentals, whatever any pony needs. There is dressing rooms and plenty of back-stage resources. Anyone who feels comfortable performing now has a chance to show this town their musical chops and creativity! At his shop, Trilby Hatter is preparing some things when he notices a familiar face entering his shop agian. "Shadow Trail!" He gallops over to her. "I'm so glad to see you again! I wasn't sure I would after yesterday; I've been so busy since then.

The reason I haven't done anything back here is because I'm basically out of my element.

Like I said before, Trilby will most likely stay in the town at all times. There'd have to be some pretty extreme circumstances for him to leave, because he's not an adventurer, he's not really a fighter, etc. He's a hat maker/haberdasher/tailor. Currently, he avoids stuff like that. But Samurai is always willing. As for Forest, Fable, Shadow Trail, and anyone else... Just be sure to ask them first if they want to be part of quest, and if not, that's fine. Not every participant in this RP has to take place in the major story arcs/events. They can do other things in the background, or do their own side stories. I want everyone to have the freedom to do whatever they want. For example, one of the future events will be a fighting tournament. Not everyone has to take part in that. They could still be spectators, they could manage their businesses in the meantime, socialize with other spectators, explore a minor side story, etc. I just want there to be as many options as possible. Because options... Are good! It's fine. I'm okay with everything so far. I do like the idea of a time-skip, but that depends on if you, @Astral Vision, and @Pastel-chan can multitask the last of Day 1 and the beginning of Day 2 at the same time. If it's too much, I can still wait. I guess it depends on when you've all got free time. I'll check in later tonight and see. All right! We could make her backstory/personal journey a main event, if you want! It sounds like it could be perfect for redemption arc. A standard "go evil, lose, friends are there to pick you back up and help you become an even greater protag" story. What do you think?

Really? Is that a story you WANT to do? She doesn't have to be an antagonist if that's not what you want. It's your character, you can do whatever you like with her.

Hopefully, they'll do it in a few replies and won't keep us waiting long. Hope that's okay. I just want to make sure everyone is on the same page first. I don't mind him waltzing into the local arcade and just taking over as manager. No pony working there would mind since they don't even have one to begin with. Or if you want a simpler job there, that's fine too. It's pretty much how all my OC's got jobs in Friendshire. They just moved in and took over the businesses because there was no pony in charge, just citizens doing basic routine work. And being surrounded by all the arcade cabinets, VR machines, and simulators would give him plenty of opportunities to practice and improve his video game magic.

@Pastel-chan Trilby respectfully turns down the offer. He doesn't like coffee. Latte is the closest he'll get, and he all ready had one earlier. He bows at his request. "Yes sir, Doctor. Thank you." Trilby Hatter takes his leave for the evening, thankful that the doctor didn't ask about Samurai Equine, the one pony that has never stopped by his office before. Still a work in progress... @ExplosionMare Making the trot back to his shop, he notices that despite putting up a "Closed" sign, somepony still entered. He also notices someone left a bag of bits near the entrance. He collects it before going inside. Trilby walks up behind Pencil as she is sketching. "That hat you're drawing comes with a special offer: A free matching scarf; if you're interested." Trilby smirks and shakes his head a little bit. "What a day, first a shoplifter, and now a trespasser. It's fine, though. You like my wares, so you obviously have good taste." Trilby says. It might be getting late in the evening, but it's never too late for a customer.

...Is this RP inspiring fanart?! I wonder if I should share ref images of both of my characters since I never filled out any character forms for them... Sorry, I don't mean to rush either of you. I can let that part of the story play out just a little longer, but I am anxious to get to the first big event. I think missing pages is great. If you need me to help fill in any info about the mayors, let me know. Just to clarify... Do you actually have a backstory in mind for your character and you're using this RP to tell that story, or are you still developing your character right now? Either one could be a good story possibility to undertake. I was originally intending to limit any travelling outside of the city to a main event. Not that I'm against helping for side stories like this, as long as it doesn't conflict with any major events going on. For example, the first major event is going to be taking place in the city, and I'd like both of my characters to be there. But if you're going to be traveling outside of Friendshire, especially if it's a dangerous quest, I'd like at least one of my characters to be available to help see it through. My other OC, Trilby Hatter, will probably stay in the town most of the time. But Samurai Equine is a heroic, protective warrior that likes helping friends and defending the weak. He'd want to be there for any big journeys, if his presence would be helpful.

@Pastel-chan Trilby comes in. "Thank you, Dr. Milenko. Today's been a very busy day. A bunch of new citizens have arrived in town, about 7 give or take. They aren't like the citizens that were born here. These new arrivals have life and energy. Eventually, they might also need counselling."

@Bastian, @Windy Breeze Trilby reaches out. "No, wait! What--" But it was too late. He lowers his ears and his head in defeat. "...What about the hat." The hat was still on her head when she left. Trilby wanted excitement, but he didn't think about potential shoplifters. ...And he actually kind of liked Shadow Trail... He looks at Forest when her hears her calling out to Shadow. "You probably shouldn't chase--" But it was too late. He was gone too. ... Well, now what? ... Trilby closes up shop for now. He collects some material and heads out. @Pastel-chan Trilby travels a far to visit the town's counselor. It's a little late, but he should still be in his office. He knocks. "Sir? I have a report for you." Trilby was his first, and best, patient.

Did Shadow just shoplift?!
