Ah, a week that starts off fine, but ends in a less than stellar way.  Let's go over it, my crowd. This will probably be a short entry this time around.

 The biggest thing is that happened this week is: My mother is trying to get a new car, and I'm trying to help her. On Friday, one of my uncles said that he would help us look at vehicles on Saturday. Well, Saturday rolls around. We have kind of a slow start, but by lunch time, he decides to flake on us. Something about how this is something my mother needs to do on her own because it's going to be her vehicle. And I'm off on the side thinking "If you were going to do this, why did you agree to join us and help us out in the first place? You could have backed out on Friday!" Still, my mother and I are going to figure it out somehow. I think my mother is going to try her hardest to find something locally. Why do both of my uncles feel the need to leave town to find a good deal on a car? Do they not see the tons of dealerships and used car lots we have?  But at least doing that was somewhat fun...

 However, there were two things not so fun. While I am happy to help my mother out with car stuff, it means I was left with no time to contact my computer specialist. I might have to focus on helping my mother first before I think of myself. It'll just be easier that way. Also, I was planning to see the 2nd My Hero Academia movie, however technical difficulties got in the way of that. I really need to do a better job of watching these movies sooner...

 BUT WAIT! It's not all negative. Shout Factory has announced that they are going to give Kamen Rider Zero-One an official release in North America?!  Well this will be interesting! I always believed that the reason Shout Factory didn't go after newer shows is because Bandai and Toei wouldn't be happy with a quiet direct-to-video or direct-to-streaming release. They'd want to promote it, put it on television, and get as much publicity over it as possible! Could I have been wrong this whole time? Has there been a new legal development? This will be fascinating to watch unfold. Hopefully it gets a Bluray release.

 Saber 30: That Which Can’t Be Stabbed!  Not much to say about this episode except it seems like Blades is dealing with feelings of inadequacy. I don’t like that his friends aren’t taking the time to better understand his feelings, but then again, even I think these emotional outbursts are a bit too much. Speaking of not understanding, when was Mei turned into the MOTW?

 Zenkaiger 06: Trash Taste!  This episode was rather boring. Not much going on for it. Though it is interesting that Magine is basically a litter bug. I feel like, if this was made many years earlier, we wouldn’t have that dynamic. All the members of the team would just be pro ecology. Case in point, I’m surprised they highlighted the Go-Busters power. Feel like this should have been an episode dedicated to Go-Onger.

What's up, my crowd? 

Things are really beginning for me. I am finally starting to reach a point where I can start to afford a new computer. However, I really don't know where to start...
I have a budget, but I don't know if there is a company I should turn to (HP, Dell, etc.), or if there is a better way to go.
For most of the places I've visited, my budget seems reasonable, but there are certain accessories I want that are not being included in the basic computer package. I'd have to order it separately and install it myself, but I'm not really sure I want to do that. Worst of all, the computer specialist that I trust has disconnected his phone number...  Now what? Go to someone I don't even trust?

Toei's international YouTube channel has uploaded 3 different Kamen Rider movies lately. One is a showa era special about the first 7 Riders. Another is the Double A to Z movie. And the most recent one is the Zi-O & Zero-One movie. However, the other two were only up for a day or two before they were taken down, and I imagine the last one will be the same. I don't think it's a matter of time. The last one is way too recent to keep anyways, but I also know that the movies are part of different legal license. Either way, they were fun to watch for a short while, even if the translations weren't perfect. Seriously, how do you manage to translate the ENGLISH words "Dystopia" and "Slash" into "Sting Scorpion" and "Strash"?  Toei, whoever you hired to be your translator, you might also want to hire a quality checker to prevent stuff like this. I haven't seen translations this bad since "Space Cop Gavan".

...And why do these status updates have an "Options" button?  It doesn't give you any actual options. Are there suppose to be some options? Is this something that never got fixed? Do I need to speak to an admin or something? If "Edit" and "Report" are all we can do, why bother having an "Options" button at all? I'm so confused...

Sorry for the late summary. I got so busy spending time with my family on Sunday that I didn't have time to post this last night.  Allow me to explain more, my crowd.

 Wow, TWO big holidays over the week we just finished! April Fools AND Easter Sunday!  My April Fools gag almost went too far for some people, but I know I'll do better next year. An emo Celestia is an oxymoron anyways. As for Easter? As usual, my family got together after church. I still chose not to go because I've not been vaccinated yet, which might have been for the best since I heard my local church is not social distancing any more. We had a big lunch together and spent some more time together afterwards. The lunch was interesting. We usually have a home made meal on Easter Sundays, but this time we ate out. One of my uncles was out of town, so it was a small get-together anyways. By the time we were done with family bonding, I hardly had that much time to myself. By the time I finished watching a movie and everything, it was time for bed. No time to post this weekly summary.

 In personal, uneventful news, I actually managed to have Tacos on a Tuesday for once.  It's something I always hear about, but I never manage to do it. I only have tacos when I go out to eat (because I never think about buying taco shells when I'm getting groceries). And when I go out to eat during the week, it's usually on a Wednesday. But lately things have just been kind of random, and this was a nice change of pace. Also, I'm on a hunt to fine psychedelic music, something a 60's or 70's vibe with trippy, nonsense lyrics. A good example would be anything similar to "I Am The Walrus" by the Beatles or perhaps anything by Klaatu.

 Wow! There's been a lot of Kamen Rider news recently! There's going to be a reboot (possibly anime?) of Kamen Rider Black; called Kamen Rider Black Sun. Let's just hope they don't make it too convoluted like the first episode of the TV show did. (Does anyone even realize that Minami and Nobuhiko aren't even related by blood?) There's going to be an anime of Kamen Rider Double, because apparently there was a manga that got really popular. (I wonder if this is Toei's response to the vastly successful SSSS Gridman?) I hope the original actors reprise their roles. And lastly, there is going to be a movie called "Shin Kamen Rider". I was disappointed because I thought that it might be the long awaited continuation to that Kamen Rider prologue movie, but I think it's just going to be another reboot of the original Kamen Rider from the 70's. But it's being directed by Shin Godzilla/Evangelion's Hideki Ano! So that's something.

 Well I didn't think she would, but @Windy Breeze has done it again!  On top of drawing my pony OC, she has begun writing fiction feature my OC, hers, and a few others. You can read the first chapter HERE and the second chapter HERE. Can't wait for part 3!

 MOVIE TIME!  GODZILLA VS KONG (2021). Wow! I actually like this movie! First of all, this movie was MADE to be seen on the big screen. I am sorry I didn’t get that chance, but no vaccine yet, so I’m not taking any chances. Second, I am so glad they ditched any phoned-in environmental message that dragged down the last American Godzilla movie. Third, sad to say that a certain Theory video on YouTube kind of ruined the ending for me, but that doesn’t make the fight scenes and the journey leading up to it any less enjoyable. Fourth, I didn’t care for how the story framed Kong as the hero of this story since Goji’s not a villain. Seems a little unbalanced. Fifth, not my favorite Mechagodzilla in terms of visual design, but he was still pretty epic in action. Sixth, I really wish they had done the final fight in Japan instead of Hong Kong. Come on, movie! That was a prime opportunity! Seventh, I don’t know what the plans are for the future, but I wouldn’t mind a follow up to this. Next time? Haven't decided on a movie yet.

 Saber 29: Poseidon Swings!  I’m mostly speechless right now. It’s a great episode that REALLY leaves you wanting more! However, Rintaro/Blades is the real idiot of this episode. If he had just went to Northern Base instead of confronting Master of Logos alone, none of this mess would have happened. But at least one good thing came from this confusion. Sophia’s back, baby! YES!

 Zenkaiger 05: Sushi Settling!  And with that, we settle back into the standard MOTW format. I wouldn’t be surprised if the reason why Zenkaizer can’t travel to Tojitendo is because he’s human and only mechanical lifeforms can go through the portals. Still, as we move on to new episodes, I hope they still find a way to keep things interesting. I know they won’t rely on the whole “rookies learning the ropes” trope for too long. Might be nice if they actually set some episodes aside to learn about other Sentai realities since they are borrowing those powers, and it would be educational for new fans. (Also, with all the sushi-based word play in this episode, am I the only one who wishes they had used Shinkenger/ShinkenGold's power?)

Anyone think it would be cool if we combined those two things? .... No?  Well I thought it was hilarious! Honestly, I wouldn't mind seeing an entire movie stylized this way. It was fun while it lasted, but I didn't want to keep that forever. In all seriousness, I hope no one was off-put by my emo Celestia gag. It was just a joke! I'm not that much of a downer. I even tried to make the comments obviously funny to reflect that.

I'm pretty happy that on Tuesday, I actually got to have tacos for once. I've seen lots of people talk about Taco Tuesday, but this is the first time I actually got to do it.

Nothing too exciting for me right now. I've oddly become obsessed with psychedelic rock songs from the 60's and 70's. Anything that has nonsense lyrics but totally vibes and rocks out is my jam. To think this all started with a song called "Climb Inside My World". It was made by a band called Masters of Reality, yet they never released it on an album of any kind. How odd.

My mother had a good day at work. Last week was just training to get her use to her new position. Today was her first day unsupervised, and she nailed it.  I knew she'd do fine.

Anyways, hope you are all living fun, interesting lives!

Finally, a weekly summary that's one time for once!  Let's talk about it, my crowd. Expect a shorter entry this time around.

 Nothing super big or major happened to me this week we just finished, but for my mother, something big did happen! This was the week she started working at her new position. So far, the work has been much easier and stress free! However, this week was just to help her get trained and adjusted. This coming week will be the real test. She'll get her first taste of doing it alone. I think she's got what it takes. 

 Well, some things DID happen to me, I guess... I'm still SUPER stoked about the amazing gift art that @Windy Breeze made of my pony OC!  Also, because of flash no longer being a thing, I was having trouble making Dreamselfy work. I like that game. It often gives me creative ideas for OCs. Thankfully, I found a downloadable version of the game. Half the prompts are in Japanese, but I can figure it out and make it work for my purposes.

 Zenkaiger 04: Face the 5 Facts!  And with that, all 5 members of the Zenkaigers are assembled. Gotta say, I love Vroom. His curiosity from being shut in all this time and his madlad energy are adorable. Didn't think I would end up liking him at first, but here I am. Love the new insert song, but I have no idea who is singing it. My source says it’s Daiki Ise, but I can tell there is a female voice in there too, and I can tell it’s not Mitsuko Horie. Speaking of, that’s so awesome that Kaito’s parents are named after Isao Sasaki and Mitsuko Horie! Nice little easter egg for dedicated fans. I laughed, I cheered; this season is really leaving me well entertained.

 Saber 28: Sibling Swords!  Well, this episode was mostly filler. The preview lead me to believe there would be more going on, but I guess I was wrong. I like that they laid out the back story to let anyone who was confused or lost catch up, and I am glad that this episode wasn’t all flashbacks either. I prefer flashback episodes that also progress the story a little. This one did so, even if not by much. Also, I find it kind of lame that Sabela has a brother. We all know he is going to show her up and look like the stronger Rider by comparison. Personally, I thought it was just fine with Sabela on her own. No one was asking for big brother to come in and save the day for her.

 No movie this week. I am still building a database of all the movies I've seen so far, and I'm almost done. There were some Tokusatsu movies I wanted to watch, but parts 2 and 3 have not been subbed yet, so that pretty much killed that plan.  But with any luck, I'll be seeing Godzilla VS Kong this coming weekend!

Hey there, my crowd. 

Today has been weird. Cleaning cars, helping my mother shop for cars, and having treats along the way.

In fact, I felt oddly hungry today. It's like I just couldn't get full. I hate when I have these absolutely random hunger attacks. 

I was going to see a movie this week, but I think I'm going to put it off. I need to make a database of movies I've all ready seen. While making a list of movies I need to see, I think I may have accidentally listed some titles I've all ready seen. Good thing I have a bunch of quick reviews on my old DeviantArt account.
