Although some of the other options might have been just as funny to see.  The trick part of the question is no one ever said "I swear on Celestia's name...", the order of who said what has been shuffled, and maybe some other details. It's harder to trick anyone with season finales and openings because fans tend to remember those quite vividly.

The newest episode of TYT is out, and it's fine. A little cramped for the story they tried to tell, but the effort is there. ...Now we just need Sunny to say "I'M PANCAKE!".

Hope everyone saw my quiz that I posted on Tuesday.  I did get some replies, so it seems fine. Also, I noticed status update text is closer to people's avatar now. Anyone else notice that?

No door into summer? No door into summer.  Let's talk, my crowd.

 The biggest thing that happened this week was my uncle's birthday.  Considering my mother's wasn't too long ago, I am beginning to thing there is a family history of TRYING to keep birthdays as close together as possible... Anyways, my uncle had a great birthday. He got many gifts, including a very special surprise that meant a lot to him. My mother really went above and beyond to make that happen.

 I wasn't aware that doing new things would set me back.  I've been making art for others, art for myself, and I've been exploring Pokémon Omega Ruby (I once played the original Ruby a long time ago, so I wanted to explore this remake). I'm having fun of course, but you'll have to keep reading to see how this has set me back...

 The trailers keep coming and they don't stop coming... I saw trailers for MLP G5 Make Your Mark, Avatar 2, and Rescue Rangers. The hype train doesn't slow down, it just makes pit stops. 

 I thought I'd be replacing the screen door this week. I asked for my uncle's help, but he refuses to do so until I've weighed all options. Thanks, uncle. Wasn't asking you to spear-head the operation, just wanted you to help me put in a new door.  Either way, I'll be calling in a local business to see if a new piece of glass can be custom cut. It's not something I really want to do, to be honest. However, if it is the cheapest and easiest option, it might be worth looking into.

 SUPERHUMAN SAMURAI SYBER-SQUAD!  If I don't mention any healing scenes, you can rest easy, they're there. Likewise, if I don't get angry at the appearance of any PSA messages, it's because the episodes didn't do them. Be worried if I do mention them from now on.

• Episode 27, a teen's tiny terror! I was WAITING for this adaptation! Sadly, it's so bad that it makes me want to shred my brain cells. I want to blame it on this being the cheapest adaptations in tokusatsu history, but even this show has enough regular extras make the original story work. Monster footage and plot come from Gridman 31. No contest this time, Gridman 31 is the winner. They hired a one-time extra to make this story work. They wanted to give Syd a lesson about being a human that makes errors, which was all ready done, but they did it at the cost of continuity and making sense. (Considering what happened when I watched episodes 30 & 31, I may need to reevaluate episodes like this, because they might not be in proper order...)
• Episode 28, no boys allowed. Monster footage comes from Gridman 20, plot is original. The first few minutes with Kilo and Malcom are so rewarding continuity-wise, can we either pretend the previous episode didn't happen or just assume it belongs somewhere later in the series? The rest of the episode, a bit cringe-worthy at first, is a clever use of stock footage. Best of all, there is no “technology doesn't work that way” moment. And with one comment, the lunch lady might just be the smartest character on the show. Once again no contest, SSSS wins! It's rare, but when they make a good episode, they REALLY make a good episode!
• Episode 29, bad hair day? Monster footage and some of the plot comes from Gridman 19 (or maybe a little bit of Gridman 35). Wait, they actually acknowledged monsters getting a metal upgrade?! Has this always been a thing?!?! After that, it's the same old schlock. It's hard to pick a winner here. Both had moments that were vital to show, but both had their own brand of stupid as well. I never thought I'd say this considering the original is about a magazine model somehow getting a job as police woman, but both win. It's a tie.
• Episode 30, an unscheduled mess. The plot is completely original; monster footage comes from Gridman 27. While this episode doesn't do anything wrong per se, it's just so cut and dry that I'd swear this was meant to be played earlier in the series. Perhaps some episode shuffling is in order? It's hard to compare an episode about kidnapping and toys come to life against a boring yet sane episode about messing with a school's computer. I have to call it another tie. Both win.
• Episode 31, revolution never televised. Monster footage comes from Gridman 18, plot is original if not a bit dumb. Oh yeah, this episode confirms that these episodes are either aired or shuffled in a bad order. This episode invented the Dragon Canon, despite seeing it episodes earlier. Although, it is refreshing to see Kilo make an actual attempt to trap and attack Servo personally. Vivacious vocal unveilings, I was not expecting a live action shot of voice actor Jess Harnell! And they even threw in some Malcom abuse without it being a joke! Dumb moments aside, this episode was mostly solid, and it didn't have any impossible reviving-the-dead moments like the original did. With some slight hesitation, I must admit, SSSS wins.

 NO DONBROTHER OR REVICE THIS WEEK!   I got so enamored with everything else, that I just didn't have the time. I'll get back on it soon. I really do want to make room for all the programs I plan to watch.

 MLP TYT 09: Twilight's Influence?  Oh dear... Not only do we have another good story-driven episode, but we have something that is going to make the fans go wild with speculation. Is it possible that this unique unicorn holiday was inspired by Twilight Sparkle and they don't even realize it? The acronym fits TOO well. I never thought we'd get to actually see Trotformers, but here we are! The first official, actually animated crossover. It's good to see Sunny is still as studios as ever, even if this holiday slipped her mind. I like that Izzy's friends were honest when they got caught and still did the right thing. This episode could have been really bad, but it was quite solid! ...And why was Izzy struggling to lift a box with magic when she lifted an entire unicorn trap a few episodes ago? Is she secretly a magical prodigy but only when she isn't thinking about it too hard?

The correct answer is B. Harry, the cave-dwelling bear that vacations at the beach and plays beach volleyball. I've never seen a beach-dwelling bear before, but all those other options are things Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash said when they couldn't get their made-up story straight.  As for the actual twist in the question, Pinkie Pie never said "Yes! Why does everypony keep saying that?". She actually said "Yes! As in, 'this afternoon' this afternoon!" after abruptly cutting Fluttershy off. Though that does sound like something she'd say, doesn't it?  Also, I am surprised I could come up with 3 other alternate spellings of "Harry". Maybe next week's question will be trickier...

In the meantime, I've seen some more trailers that have got me interested. I saw the new trailer for the MLP G5 mane series. Anyone else excited?  Love how it includes elements from TYT (I saw the newest episode and loved it!). Also, that Avatar 2 trailer (the blue alien people). I'm surprised this is actually happening. After years of saying it would, I had pretty much assumed we weren't getting a sequel at all. Guess I was wrong.

Strawberry, strawberry... Who's got the strawberry?  Let's peel back the layers and talk about it, my crowd. 

 The biggest thing that happened this week was Mother's Day!  ...Actually, it wasn't that big at all. One of my uncles was too sick to celebrate, the other was super busy, and my mother insisted on not doing much. She didn't want presents, she barely wanted to get out. I still made sure she had a fun time, though. She was happy just spending time with me. Thanks to me, she got to try Takis, and I knew she'd love them. She loves spicy things. So yeah, not very eventful. But if I can say that someone else's special day was the best part of my week, then so be it.

 But if we're measuring things by how eventful they were; part of my storm door shattered (the glass pane at the bottom of the door). Not sure how it happened; but it may or may not have been from my mowing.  I cleared away the glass as best I could, covered up the opening, and accidentally cut my finger (and gave myself a splinter). I have a plan for replacing the door. I just need a little bit of help. My uncle has the truck, and he can give me the extra hands I need to put it on. I just need to find a time when he's feeling healthy enough to do it.

 Been seeing trailers for things lately.  Apparently I can watch the first episode of Samurai Rabbit on YouTube right now? Don't know if it's out yet or not. Constantine and Green Lantern are getting direct-to-video cartoon movies. Weird Al is going to have a biography movie, but I'm not sure if it's serious or a parody of the ones we've seen before for Queen and Elton John. But I am most excited for MLP G5 and Sonic Prime! Sonic looks and sounds so good and so accurate. Might be the best Sonic cartoon we've seen in a long time! And I am hoping the MLP CGI cartoon will live up to the hype and the wait. Are we possibly getting a new dragon companion?

 NO SUPERHUMAN SAMURAI SYBER SQUAD THIS WEEK!  Not going to lie, just got off my schedule. There was some has rain the Sunday before, and it changed some of the things I had planned on Monday and such. One change can really unbalance my work schedule. Not to mention, the drama with my storm door on Wednesday took up a great deal of my free time. And of course, making time for Mother's Day is time away from stuff like this. Basically, nothing big threw off my schedule, it was just a lot of little things.

 MLP TYT 08: A Hitch & Burglary.  Well what do you know, an episode that actually made me laugh! I don't think Hitch is actually going to seriously jail his animal friends, but that ending cut off was perfect! Really gave me a good laugh. Also, the short managed to keep me guessing about which direction they were going. For a moment, I thought that maybe Zipp was going to be his new deputy. And when we learned the reveal, I thought maybe his animal friends were going to be his new deputy instead! I am not sure if Hitch ever got a new one after Sprout, but this was wonderful regardless. And have I mentioned how happy I am that Hitch's job as sheriff still means something even after the movie?

 DonBrothers 09: Busting Makes Me Rise!  Talk about a surprise! I was not expecting Zenkaiser Black to reveal himself at this point. On top of all that, we got the premiere of Robotaro! How interesting that the Shinkengers never wore armor like some fans wanted, and yet here we have Don Momotaro basically doing that by becoming robotic. It's nice to see that Momotaro is close to acknowledging his companions. And as for the MOTW's connection with Go-Busters... It's once again strenuous at best. I didn't see the show, but I know the Go-Busters were chosen to be heroes at childhood, and the host is actually an old man's unfulfilled childhood, but that's as far as the connection goes I think.

 ReVice 32: Can't See Eye To Eye.  This is mostly a prelude episode, not much to see here and we kind of know how it'll end with Sakura/Jeanne and Aguilera. I did notice the juxtaposition between Ikki/Revi and Aguilera though; one is losing the home he wants to keep while the other is trying to find the home she never had. It's nice we're seeing more of Aguilera's origin story; something I had forgotten about in the mix of everything. Also, they killed the doctor lady! Wasn't expecting that, to be honest. For once, I kind of want this to be a psyche-out and they bring her back. It's very different than how I felt with Hiromi. To me, his story was over. He saw the truth and made the ultimate sacrifice for it; bringing him back has not accomplished anything yet. This female doctor has barely had any screen time. We don't know much about her other than she's been a great ally. In a way, Hiromi would have been a better spy for this episode. He's off the map, most likely assumed dead by Fenix, so he could probably do a better job of sneaking in and gathering intel without getting caught.

Years later, for better or for worse, I still love Crush 40 like a dedicated fan. They've been acting behind the scenes, some things a bit more obvious than others. However, this is one song the people and the Sonic fandom might not be talking about so much. Why? It's an original that has no tie to anything. However, even their original stuff can be good.
