    @ArbiterofFates Trilby would follow close by, trying to not draw too much attention to himself. "I'll need my own place to stay. Preferably one with lots of rooms. And also..." Trilby lifts his head a little. A sharp, determined glare in his eyes. "I'm going to trust you to teach me how to blend in, but I'd suggest you make these lessons quick, my friend. Because I don't plan to keep my head down forever. One way or another, I am going to make waves here."

    @Courageous Thunder Dash Trilby gets up from his seat, ready to follow Addie out. "Hmm?" Trilby says, surprised by her cryptic comment. "Oh. I've got a feeling... A feeling deep inside. Oh yeah." Trilby says to himself, curious to see where this goes.

    @Starlight Trilby is about to say something. He's not afraid to turn around and go back at all. But then he remembers what brought him here in the first place. ... He has nowhere else to go. Trilby tips his hat forward until the shade from the wide brim hides his eyes. "...Lead the way."

    @Pastel Heart "Is hugging that really bad?" Trilby asks. "It's just not something we do openly here in Japone. Hey, is it true what they say? Is it true all ponies from the western half of Equestria all have canons, and they eat hayburgers every day, and everypony plays buckball?" He asks. "Heh... Uhh... I think somepony has seen too many action movies." Trilby comments. About that time, Samurai joins them. "Ah, there you two are! Do I have a story to tell you. ...Oh, it seems you have company all ready."

    @Courageous Thunder Dash Trilby takes a bite. He is surprised. "That's peak ripeness." Trilby says between bites. But soon, he can hear the train and the conductor shouting that train has arrived at Dodge Junction. The doors are opening to let out passengers and welcome in new passengers.

    How goes it, my crowd? :)

    For two days in a row, I had really bad neck pains. It was making me feel sore on one side of my body. Thankfully, that is all clearing up now, but I wonder what caused it in the first place... Pinched nerve or something? :ooh:

    Also, been watching more of Gridman. I am going to watch 6 episodes a week. Was going to do 5, but 6 means I'll finish much faster. This week's set of episodes is both better than the last, and more of the same at the same time. I'll explain more soon. :proud:

    The answer was D, "You're a great friend, even if we don't always understand you." Seems like kind of a rude thing to tack on the end there, especially since Twilight and the rest weren't doing a good job of listening to or believing in Pinkie. But it's okay. Their friendship was new and they were still getting to know each other. Season 1 stuff. :proud: Also, the trick part was Pinkie did not call them Cumbia instruments (I added that as a reference to something), nor did she say "but you wouldn't listen" at the end of her statement.

    @Starlight Trilby suddenly stops where he is. He looks forward at this new foreign kingdom, and then back the way he came. He is considering his options. "I don't belong here, do I?" (Word limit, word limit, word limit, word limit.)

    @PawelS, @Kujamih Samurai didn't realize how fast he went to sleep. All the excitement must have added up. A good rest will recover all the energy and magic he lost that evening. The next day... Samurai wakes up at the crack of dawn, just barely beating the first morning bird. He looks around. "I guess she escaped... Too bad. But she didn't steal anything either. Guess there is hope for her after all. If I see her again, I'll do whatever I have to do." Samurai says to himself. "I would try to go after her right now, but that's not my mission." Samurai doesn't miss a second. He collects his things, makes sure the lacquered finish on his armor is pristine, and then puts on his full suit of armor. (If Kuya doesn't wake that early after all...) Samurai leaves immediately. The room is paid for, so Kuya may leave whenever he wants. (If Kuya does wake up that early...) "Good morning, my friend. I'm headed to the castle as we speak. I know the letter said meet with Celestia at noon, but I intend to be the first one there, meeting her immediately in the morning. As a Japonies pony, we value punctuality. It's an honor to arrive early to work, and it's proper etiquette to stay at work a few hours even if your shift is over. A thorough job does not hold work hours." Samurai explains as he heads out of his room.

    @Pastel Heart "You'll have to tell me more about this title later on. The name is interesting. Doesn't the first word mea--AH!" Trilby's happy reply is interrupted when the cosplayer taps him on the back, roughly. The cosplayer is NOT a pretty sight to behold. He is overweight and possibly not very good with hygiene. Also, he's cosplaying as a female anime character. "Ano... Don'na kankei ga arimasu ka?" He asks. Tribly just blinks. "Come again?" He asks. The cosplayer lets out a sigh of relief. "Oh, now I understand. You are both foreigners. That's why you were hugging. Sorry we were all rude earlier." He says apologetically. This stranger's accent is much thicker than Samurai's. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Samurai nods as he takes in her story. "I believe you, Sakura-chan. But you'll have to do me a favor... Let me know when Vol. II comes out. I want to be your first customer." Samurai gives her a wink and begins to walk off. Most would consider this rude, but Sakura probably understands instantly. This is the best advertising she could ask for! Samurai is a popular guy in Japone. Once word spreads that Samurai likes this manga, she's going to have TONS of customers that will want a copy as well. And maybe the manager of this place might just reconsider giving her a booth after all. For now, Samurai wants to return to his friends.

    @Courageous Thunder Dash Trilby is practically speechless at all of this new information. "Well I'll be... An earth pony that can do magic. Amazing! This is exactly what I wanted! To meet other extraordinary ponies and creatures as I set out on adventure. I've never heard of nor seen such phenomenon in my life. You must be truly special." Trilby admires. Then he remembers her question about the apple. "...Is it safe? It's not going to explode in my hooves or melt my insides, is it?"

    @Pastel Heart Trilby pays for everything, including his own stuff and everything else Pastel wanted. He walks over to her with bags full of stuff. "Check it out, Love! We've got a huge convention haul." Trilby says. At the same time, a cosplayer is sneaking up on them. ----------------------------------- To her surprise, Samurai stops her from taking that first puff of her cigarette, putting his hoof over hers. "Please, not inside. Outside only." To her surprise, Samurai gives her some bits. "I've all ready decided. I want a copy of this manga. I don't fully understand it, but based on the cover, it looks like it has something for everypony." Samurai is happy to put his copy away for now. "Now it's your turn. Please tell me why this manga means so much to you. I bet this project means a lot if you are willing to defend it so passionately."

    @Kujamih, @PawelS Samurai puts his armor and things in the closet, putting a paper security charm on the closet doors. He yawns a little as he takes a seat on his bed. "Consider this, Shadow Dagger. You didn't always enjoy doing illegal things, right? It's never too late to go back to that. If you join us on our quest, we'd be equal comrades, which means we'd have each others backs. We'd defend you, you'd defend us. That's what friends do. And if Celestia is calling upon is, then you know it must be for some major reason. Whatever the reason is, it might be something written in the history books. How would you like to be remembered?" (Feel free to do a charm check here, but only if Kujamih's charm check fails.) Samurai begins to ease into bed, getting ready to go to sleep.

    @Pastel Heart Trilby smiles and claps, approving her purchases selections. "Hmm. Shinigami Kiss? Okay. I'll try my best." Trilby nods and proceeds to try and complete his mission. He walks up to the clerk. "Excuse me. Where can I find a copy of Shinigami Kiss?" Trilby asks, hoping his pronunciation is correct. He clearly has no idea what that title is about. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Samurai nods. This magic aids him well once again. "Yes, I see..." Before they can get past 7, Samurai puts a hoof on Sakura's shoulder. "It seems the event organizer was telling the truth. You've been smoking, and my fire magic can detect the smoke in your lungs. But don't worry, Sakura-chan. I'm not judging you. I just want to know why somepony as nice as you couldn't be honest with me."

    @Courageous Thunder Dash Trilby smiles. "Thank you, Addie. Well, this is not the first time I've had to move around. Not many ponies can make a living out of selling clothes, let alone clothing accessories. But making hats is my passion. Seeing the joy on other ponies' faces, knowing I've given them a new lease on life simply by giving them a hat that really connects with them... I live for those moments. It's how I got my cutie mark in the first place." Trilby explains. He sees Ponyville getting smaller as the train departs. "I had a good run in Ponyville, but ultimately I couldn't compete with Rarity's clothing store, Carousel Boutique. She's pretty much cornered the market on clothing, and now she's a monopoly there. Oh, but don't be mad at Rarity! She wasn't trying to run me out of business. She's really nice. This was just a case of, the best pony won. Now it's time for me to find a place where ponies want a hat store." Trilby explains. He turns to Addie and leaves the floor open to her now. She can ask questions, make comments, or tell her story now if she wants to.

    @Kujamih, @PawelS "Urusai yo." Samurai says to Kuya with a bit of a smile, rubbing one his ears. "You've got quite the sense of humor." He looks back at Shadow. "Anything you are willing to share. But first, please hold on tight." Samurai puts a hoof on both Kuya and Shadow, and teleports them to his room. It's the fanciest, most luxurious suite the inn has. ... He can also see his suit of armor got caught on some of the furniture when he tried to summon it earlier. He begins to redecorate, putting things away neatly. "Welcome to my room. There is plenty of room for all of us."

    @Starlight (WOW! I am SUPER sorry this is late! The forum never updated me about your reply and it just slipped my mind. So sorry about that.) Trilby listens and hesitates a little. "Ooh... Hide me away? I'm not sure about that. How long would it take to teach me all that? Because hiding is not something I can easily do. I NEED to be seen! Expressing myself and connecting to others is what I was meant to do with my life." Trilby points to his cutie mark; a hat and a pair of scissors. "See this? It reflects my talent for hat making, but it's not just about my personal skills. I love being able to make others happy and give them a new lease on life by giving them a hat they absolutely love. I can't do that if I'm in hiding."

    @PawelS I find it interesting that it took Kuya's charm instead of Samurai's charm to turn her around, but hey, the ends justify the means. I just hope I am doing a good job at this RP.

    It's time once again to Equip the Script! Can you guess the right answer? :darling:

    In Episode 10, Swarm of the Century, Applejack looks upon the aftermath and says "So you knew what those critters were all along, huh Pinkie Pie?" To which, an annoyed Pinkie replies with "Well duh! Why do you think I was so frantic to get my hooves on all these cumbia instruments? I tried to tell you, but you wouldn't listen!" Humbled, Twilight replies with "We know, Pinkie Pie, and we're sorry we didn't listen." The rest of her friends give their own apologies as well. Happiness restored, what's Twilight's next comment?

    A. "You're a great friend, even if you need to work on your communication."
    B. "You're a great friend, never change. It's us who need to change."
    C. "You're a great friend. Can you ever forgive us?"
    D. "You're a great friend, even if we don't always understand you."

    And yes, the question is a trick question~!

    @Kujamih, @PawelS Samurai bows as the guards take their leave. "You wish to stay with me in my room? Ah. But just so you know, I wake up at the crack of dawn, so I won't be doing much late-night partying. My work ethic is very strong, so if you're okay with waking up that early, you're free to stay with me." Samurai says. He notices Kuya trying to mess with him. He catches the bag of bits and lets Kuya hit him. If he's expecting Samurai to flinch or get hurt, it won't work. Kuya will notices he has nothing but tight and trimmed muscles. No flab, no fat. Hopefully Kuya didn't hurt himself. He notices the prisoner is waking up. "Konbanwa, Shadow Dagger. I am told you are a law breaker. I would love to hear your side of the story. I prefer to believe whatever Kuya said since Celestia summoned him, but I still like to hear both sides openly."
