  1. Oh Celestia, after 4 years I finally got back into ponies! ^_^

Watched 4 first episodes of season 5 on Netflix now and I gotta say, that this service is quite convenient (nice skip intro button is an interesting detail tbh). That's a shame there are only 6 seasons at the moment. :twi:

Anyway, I plan to watch at least 2 episodes per day. That way, I should be able to catch up with the show in less than 2 months.

It's a shame it took me all these years to get into it. Truth be told, I stopped watching ponies since I started working on my projects. It's not that I lost interest or didn't have time. I... I just had stuff planned more or less, but now it is safe to say, that I have failed everywhere, where possible. Now I need to rearrange priorities and do what I can before it will be too late... I feel bad, I'm disappointed in myself, I won't lie, but at least I'll try to catch up with the show. That's what I'll be focusing on now. Wish me luck. :mlp_please:

On a side note, @Usager has made an awesome artwork of my OC, Twisted Nightmare (idk if that will be his name, but that's how I called him the first time).

It was totally unexpected; I love this; Thank you! :mlp_yay:

And with that wall of text, I'm going to sleep. Goodnight! ^_^

  2. Olol the forums don’t want to be pinched.

  3. It really makes me think of Skyfall.

James Bond x MLP crossover? EqE4vfd.png

Hah I just noticed- it actually IS mentioned in the video description and it's all over the place in the comments, so it's not just me. :muffins: kek, nice one! :D

    4 YEARS

It's been 4 years since I started my adventure with MLP (and almost 3 years since I joined this community). :darling:

So many things have changed since then ~ all of my hobbies (other than playing video games :mlp_icwudt:), spending time on forums - - - these weren't a thing before I bumped into MLP. It's hard to believe how such a silly thing managed to impact my life that much (well at least the 'online' one ^_^). Oh these 4 years definitely was a fun ride. :darling:

  8. Now leveling up actually raises stats and stuff. :darling:

And as always, more information and more updates/changes in the blog entry:

  9. I'd love to get Gameboy Color just for LSDj to make chiptunes in there 'on the fly'. There are these emulators for mobile, but using virtual keyboard is a pain. A legit portable console would be a nice thing to have. :fluttershy: Perhaps I'll get one someday, though from what I see, its availability isn't that nice now. I'd probably also need extra gadgets in order to export tracks to PC. I have no idea about any of this though. Gameboys have an interesting sound, extremely similar to NES, yet slightly different. :darling:

It won't be like this, but it's so messy it's fun. :D Seriously though, there'll be different effects after upgrading. dfEG13d.png

And sweet Celestia, making sound effects and music will take AGES! mU2DJ4V.png

  13. Programming user interface takes so much time. :mlp_icwudt:  ~Nevertheless, I like working with that kind of stuff. :P

I need to add few last features, such as the ability to upgrade spells - then I think things will be ready, for the most part at least. Once that menu will be done, I'll get back to level design. To be honest I'm still not sure of the story yet- I mean, I have the general idea, but I'm not sure how to begin, nor what kind of events I could put there in order to make it all nicely connected and making sense. EqE4vfd.png I'll have to think about this a lot to finally establish some plans. Welp, I'm not a good storywriter, but we'll see where it goes. :mlp_icwudt: I think it will be a good idea to re-watch some episodes, that may cause delays in progress though. :P

Anyway, I'll be going to sleep now, goodnight! :fluttershy:

  16. Oh look what I have found in my project files--

an ultra silly game I made in few days for a game jam! :D

    LJDts8F.gif

Heh don't ask - that game was a joke referring to one of my fellow game devs. :mlp_icwudt:

Also it was my very first game in Game Maker - I was basically checking what does what. :derp:

Good times..... aaaaah good times... :fluttershy:

  17. It took two days, but finally I have reprogrammed that HUD. :darling:

More info in my poorly designed hideout. :ph3ar:

  18. Happy New Year my friends. :ticking:

  19. In the first year of me being a member of these forums, I started a project, that also was a promise I wanted to keep. For a long time, wherever I went, whatever I was doing, I had that project in mind. No matter what would happen, I wouldn't be able to leave these forums without finishing that project first, as leaving it behind would make me feel terrible. I always keep my promises. Some may take a while to get to, but I always remember about these. Now that I have finally finished it, I feel accomplished (MLPF-wise) aaaand free from some point of view. :mlp_icwudt:

It took me ages, but it was totally worth it. I've interacted with other members, hopefully managed to make them feel better, at least for a moment - seeing thank you's was the best reward I could ever ask for. :fluttershy: What's more, even today I see some members using these gifts and just seeing these silly things of mine there makes me smile awkwardly. ^_^

Too bad I cannot offer something more unique, something amazing... Maybe someday, I'm working on this. :twi:

For me it feels like completing the main storyline of my existence here. Even though the output looks small and simple, this project required so much time and effort from my side, thus I consider it as a relatively big part of my story here. :darling: It is an achievement for me. Those pixel ponies will always remind me of MCM and MLPF in general, so I'm looking forward to feeling nostalgia when looking at these after many years.

So from now on, I'll see what MLPF's New Game+ has to offer. ;) Should I make a new account or can I keep the stats I have? jk

*ahem* Thank you everyone for being here and keeping this place alive! I'm looking forward to see what else I can discover here! :mlp_yeehaa:

BECAUSE THIS SILLY PONE (MAH) NEEDS TO FINALLY GO TO SLEEP. :derp:
    GOODNIGHT!

  21. Wow the time goes so fast... It's Christmas already. I swear there was Summer not so long ago... :P

    Welp, Merry Christmas everypony! :D

  22. Say, did you once have an Artificial Thunder account on deviantart?  Because I just noticed that user seems to be gone.

  23. Today was a weird day. :P

Earlier I mentioned in one of my previous status updates, that I need to buy another electrical heater, because one decided to break last year. :P Today I went to shop to get one, actually to few shops, because it turned out, that all of these were sold out already. :adorkable:

The thing is, that there were many electrical heaters, but I needed something more... You see, after all that home renovation I discovered something disappointing afterwards... That my home suffers from high humidity. An electrical heater would bring that nice heat, but would also generate disastrous side effects. That's what I learned in the past years by having to constantly clean the mess (water in the corners appearing out of nowhere etc.).

So I had to buy the bigger guns - something with airflow, something that would do more than just heating -- That brought me to air conditioners.

These devices are more complicated than just a heater, so I had troubles with deciding which one would work best for me... I wasn't even sure what to look for to be honest. :please: But well, I did a marathon and visited few shops and everything was sold out. Everything but the very last device in one of these shops, so I guess I didn't have to be bothered by choosing the perfect one. :muffins:

The worker presented that device to me and explained what it can do. Everything seemed okay, so I believed it will solve all the problems and decided to buy it.

    Spoiler

    vOSzex8.pngHna5x3n.png

My first impressions are... mixed. :P

First I had to make a hole in the wall, so I grabbed my pickaxe and started mining in the wall. I got some stones! :derp: Didn't find anything valuable though.^_^

The good news are, that I finally said goodbye to the cold. :applecutehat:It also dried the air a lot, so everything is getting back to normal now.

Why the mixed impressions? ...That's because that device is loud and kinda confusing in general. I mean, I think heating isn't that loud, as the fans and stuff don't seem to generate that much noise. But now the other part - taking the cold to the outside is what is loud. The heating mode automatically turns the aggressive back fans ON requiring to have a way out to the outside and it also catches/produces water in one of the outputs. It doesn't seem like it could be disabled. From what I've read in manual, it is because this is a pump heating model (whatever it exactly means :derp:), so it just works that way. Apparently I'll have to switch it OFF when going to sleep, as even the "Sleep" function it provides doesn't have mercy. It is a "portable" device, so I imagined it will be simpler and more friendly to operate&maintain, but in the end all that stuff I need to pay attention to makes me worried.

Well... I just hope it will be doing its job and will last longer than just a year. That's all I care about. All my monthly salary went towards this after all. Hah, this air conditioner has dried my bank account. Get it?:D Seriously though, if something will go wrong, I'll be regretting that decision for a long, long time. :twi:

Those extra bonuses in electric bills though... Oh boy, let's see how bad it will get. :mlp_lie:
