But O , what if the truth of this universe terrifies me, what if as I reach that truth, I lose my ability to feel...... My instincts still want me to life and so does my curiosity, but even so, reasons tell me that life is worthless without emotion and the capability of joy.

But what would be the motivation of searching for these experiences if you can't feel joyful whatever you do? By 'not being joyous', do you mean that our feelings would just be static and always at the same intensity below complete joyfulness? Or that we can be more joyful at some times than others, yet never reach the peak of joyfulness?

Maybe I will be capable of explore this universe, see wonders I never dreamed in my short life, colorful adventures, so many place to visit, so many things to see.....but I am just afraid that the more I life, the more humanity will lose within me. which is natural, I think.
