I suppose it depends on the situation. I'm aware of a story where someone told someone else, point blank, "I'm going to roleplay as your character on another forum." Obviously, that's not okay. It wasn't a request, or a question, it was a statement, and it was not cool. If there were another Koukatsu floating around by dumb luck, which I find hard to believe in the fandom (though the name is often taken in other places, mostly games), I'd like to think I'd just be all "Meh, whatevs," but unless it actually happens, I suppose I'll never know. Though, I was once shown this little fuzzball; Obviously, it looks quite similar to Koukatsu, save some details, but I'd never seen it in my life. I messaged the artist who made it, and we had a little laugh over it, and both moved on. Completely unrelated, insane coincidence.
