I have no idea. Theoretically they are free, but in practice people who pay more, win more. There are very few F2P games I've played that are not like that. Most of them seem kinda old and clunky, but are reliable and 100% free. One of the only F2P FPS games I've played that I enjoyed was Blacklight: Retribution. Well... Most F2P games suck, Blacklights still pretty bad but it's not as sucky as a lot of the others I've played. There are a very very very small minority of F2P games that are 100% free and good though. They are just hard to find.
