It wasn't that good. Magic Duel and Sleepless in Ponyville have been the highlights of the season, but even some of the ones from season 1 and 2 (like Dragon Quest) are better than them, if you ask me.
I thought it was pretty good, although I noticed I seem to slack off with watching these new episodes. Dunno why......Apple Family Reunion is awesome IMO.
