  1. My mom found out thanks to my pony background coming up when I opened my laptop open. I tried to close it before she saw, but it was too late. A few days later, she came in my room and asked about the ponies. I told her about the brony community and all that stuff, but for some reason she didn't get it until I told her it was My Little Pony ponies. Then she said "Oh!! MLP? I used to love those as a child!". Hmmm, so they had MLP in Venezuela? Neat. But anyways, she says she accepts my interest and won't judge me by it. My dad hasn't found out, nor will he ever will. He once saw me watching a commentary and called it 'stupid', so yah, he's critical on stuff that isn't about literature (He's the read librarian at Johnson & Wales University in Charlotte) or anything 80's that isn't about classic movies (Back to the Future, Rambo, Star Wars, etc.) or rock music. Even though he's not one of my parents, my bro also knows. It's funny how he isn't critical at all even though he is 7.
  2. Any track from Amnesia really (Except the Back Hall theme, its really soothing). ESPECIALLY the one with the water monster not chasing you. I swear, I hear the in-humane screams of the dead in that soundtrack, and it freaks me out.
  3. In front of mah bro . He actually likes the show, as he found it funny some parts, yet if he catches me watchin' mah ponies, he's like "lol why are you watching that?" and I say "Hey, look at this funny vid I found ". Kinda surprised, as he plays CoD a lot and is prone to watching profanity-laced videos. He's WAY too young though, at only 7 years old , and it kinda creeps me out sometimes. Thankfully, he is smart enough to know not to be inspired by those IRL.
  4. I would if I could, at least 1 or 2 people, but people would find me annoying, plus all my friends would dismiss it as "gay". All they ever talk about is The Walking Dead (I want to get into it though) and March Madness. Ever since the season finale of TWD, they haven't been metioning it that much, but they still talk about it time to time. Funny how I'm reading a book called "The Outsiders" in religion class, and the main character's name is literally Ponyboy Curtis . Everytime we read a line with his name, ponies pop up in my head and it gives me something to pass the time, 'cause reading is definately NOT my thing, and unlike RD, I hate reading with all my guts and I'll never be persuaded to read a book unless it's Diary of a Wimpy Kid, or certain FiM fanfics ("It's a Dangerous Business" is a very good example. I love that fanfic sooo much).
  5. Lol I learned that 'cause I had to do a short project on Coke. I heard the original recipe had a small amount of cocaine in it (Thats not where Coca came from though).
  6. Man you're SO lucky to meet the Critic. Funny how some related FiM vids were how I found him in the first place. Would've found him sooner or later, as I like AVGN also.
  7. 1. Applejack (Sometimes I call her Jackie ) 2. RD 3. Twi (Love calling her that) 4. Pinkie 5. Rarity 6. Fluttershy Dang it, I don't know why I almost "dislike" Fluttershy! She's cute in some ways, but annoys me with her shyness pretty much all the time. I guess I just don't like timid women (or ponies).
  8. Man, totally forgot how epic Amnesia is. I got to play that game again soon, and hopefully not get as scared this time :(

  9. Was playing Amnesia: The Dark Descent and had just finished picking up everything in Storage. I rounded that corner where the last grunt in the Storage spawns at, and I turn around. I turned around so fast, though, I did a very quick 360 and with how dark it was, I couldn't see where I was headed. I ended up running into the monster and let me tell, it was pretty freaky . I said to myself "F*** it, I'm running away from this mother!" Just before getting to the door that leads out of that horrible place, the grunt swipes me in the back, and I almost panicked there. Thankfully, I got out alive, all while taking extra precautions NOT to do the same mistake again . Unfortunatly, it happened again, but in the Prison: Northern Block. Another damn grunt spawns in front of the way out of the kitchen, and I do the same 360 loop, and I actually almost didn't close the door in time. So yah, another very close call thanks to high mouse sensitivity. My 3rd funny gaming experience later on was in the Choir. 3 times, a brute kept spawning near me. What was scary is it always kept coming around and finding my hiding spot without actually seeing me. I had to strafe around the pillars so it didn't see me 'cause the damn brute kept "inspecting" the pillars I was hiding next to. Man, the brute is WAY smarter than those grunts, which was why Choir was so terrible for me .
  10. Thanks to cs188, the same dude who I thank for introducing MLP:FiM to me, used this song on his most recent YTP. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UzSbbzYGECQ&feature=related
  11. Cars actually. I was downloading TF2 and it takes like 11 hours to download, so to spend the last 2 hours I watched Cars. Its my favorite Pixar movie, which is no surprise, considering I love anything Southern/Country, and that movie has a whole lot of "accent" in it, so to speak
  12. SpongeBob when it wasn't crap. I still laugh at "Who ya callin' pinhead?"
  13. B-2 Spirits (Or Stealth Bombers) cost around $2 billion to make. Thats more than it cost to make Space Shuttle Endeavour, or any other Shuttle orbiter most likely. Makes sense, as the orbiters at least looked like some sort of space plane. The B-2 looks like a friggin' flying triangle.
  14. Oh, thank GOD! I remember him saying "F*** you Last Stand!" on the CoD Expo-event thingy in September and I was excited as hay. But no, he lied. He put back Final Stand (Which is worse IMO) and he added all these stupid deathstreaks and suggested some bullcrap advise for the noobs. They don't call him Robert Trolling for nothing. I love MW3, but I can only handle so much BS, and thats why I don't feel like playing it, or any other CoD in general.
  15. Watching some recorded Family Guy, 'cause my grandpa doesn't like it when I go to bed past 10:30 (on weekdays), and Family Guy came on Adult Swim exactly after that time -_-
  16. 2 more weeks till' I go the Dominican Republic. yaaay!

No. Just excited to go. Actually went there 2 years ago, so it'll be some nice nostalgia, so to speak

Ah. Either way, have fun dude.

  17. Somewhere in mid June, one of my favorite YTPers, cs188, put in a very short Fluttershy "yay" reference in one of his Michael Rosen YTPs. When I first saw it, I was like "What does MLP stand for?". It took me longer than it should have to figure out it meant My Little Pony. Then, not long after, cs188 announced he was going to make a full-length MLP YTP, and all his fans were very excited (Well, except for the haters of course). I was excited only because I wanted to see how cs188 would mess up something so harmless and originally "stupid" as ponies. Well, the YTP didn't dissapoint. He uploaded it on July 31. It was his longest YTP, and is his most viewed to date, wiht over 400k views. After I saw it, I immediatly released I actually liked the animation style a lot, mostly the eyes. At first, I thought it was one of those crappy direct-to-dvd movies or miniseries, so I though the actual content sucked in general. I had no idea it was a show that had 20 or more episodes at the time and it had a growing fanbase. I eventually was overcome by curiosity and searched for an episode on TV, before I got to see "Look Before You Sleep". I though the show was pretty crappy at first, but after a few episodes, I thought it was kinda good, though not great. Then, after watching Titanic for the first time ( ) somewhere in mid-August, I pretty much lost a ton of manliness, and I was able to appreciate the show more. Eventually I came to the conclusion that I was a brony, and at first I was horrified, because I was into really nothing else but Family Guy, CoD, and anything else would've been maturer or more profinaty laced (Even though FiM doesn't have any profinaty at all lol) but I was able to accept it, and now I'm proud of it . I now have seen every episode, and have gotten to know a good amount of the fandom and the pony universe in general.
  18. Mine was "Look Before You Sleep". I felt it was mediocre at first, but my opinion changed for the better over time. When I first saw the episode I took an instant liking for Applejack, a sorta like/hate feeling for Rarity, and a "meh", so to speak, for Twi.
  19. Yah, I guess it was pretty obvious by the title. For some reason, though, I didn't think that someone would make that assumption so quickly, but thats maybe because I'm kinda jumpy and not thinking straight lol.
  20. Hey guys! I've been checking out this site for a while, mostly the "we can only post with pictures" thread, 'cause that thread pretty hilarious, and after a while, I decided I wanted to interact with you guys, so I joined. Anyways, I'm 14, was born in the Florida, and I currently live in NC. If anyone here plays CoD, you know where I got the inspiration of my username, 'cause I do love me some akimbo pistols (Akimbo machine pistols are a different story -_-). I'm kinda of a house hermit, if that makes any sense lol, but I do have a good amount of friends. Just like a lot of people, I'm not sure why I like FiM so much, but whatever, its still freaking awesome. Also, I absolutely ADORE Applejack. She's southern (Thats an automatic win), has an adorable accent, cute freckles, is a blonde, is a good-worker and isn't afraid to do hard tasks, but is also very beautiful at the same time. Just perfection right there.
