    That would be it, yea.
  6. Hey everypony! If you're out of stuff to do on Day Zero (Thursday the 13th) of the con and appreciate some fine grub, why not meet up with other forum-using congoers at Max's Restaurant and Bar, a great diner within short walking distance from the Hyatt? We'd meet up at around 3 PM and all eat together, so if this sounds like something you'd enjoy, I hope you can make it on Thursday!

Did you ever hear the tragedy of Darth Plagueis The Wise? I thought not. It’s not a story the Jedi would tell you. It’s a Sith legend. Darth Plagueis was a Dark Lord of the Sith, so powerful and so wise he could use the Force to influence the midichlorians to create life… He had such a knowledge of the dark side that he could even keep the ones he cared about from dying. The dark side of the Force is a pathway to many abilities some consider to be unnatural. He became so powerful… the only thing he was afraid of was losing his power, which eventually, of course, he did. Unfortunately, he taught his apprentice everything he knew, then his apprentice killed him in his sleep. Ironic. He could save others from death, but not himself. /r/prequelmemes

    Movies/TV Star Wars Thread

I hope we get a proper Star Wars RPG set in the Galactic Civil war. I'm just really not that into the TOR timeline, and I don't feel like a Clone Wars setting would mesh well with an MMO. Hopefully Visceral makes something worthwile.

    Gaming Recent Gaming Purchases

I think the last gaming purchase I made was pre ordering the Forza Horizon 3 Ultimate edition (or the one that gives you early access if not the Ultimate) in August.

    Music Favorite Drummers

I mean, there's always the obvious like Bonham and Ward, but there's two that are lesser known (okay maybe not the first) that I'm a really big fan of. DAVE GROHL For some reason that continues to escape me, I cannot stand the Foo Fighters yet I feel like anything this man drums on turns to gold. He's most well known for bashing the sticks in Nirvana, however he's also drummed for the likes of Nine Inch Nails, Lemmy, and, my personal favorite, Queens Of The Stone age. He also played drums in Them Crooked Vultures, a supergroup consisting of him on drums, Josh Homme of the previously mentioned Queens Of The Stone Age, and even more notably John Paul Jones on Bass. Quick note: the guy on vocals here is actually Mark Lanegan from Screaming Trees himself. JON THEODORE The label "Modern day Bonham" gets tossed around a ton, but I'd argue that nobody is more deserving of the label than Jon Theodore. He's most famous for his work with The Mars Volta, a Prog Rock band formed in 2001, and has more recently become the touring drummer for the aforementioned Queens Of The Stone Age. What sets him apart from all the other modern day bonzos is his jazzy, technical playing style. He himself said that he grew up listening to Hatian folk music played by his dad, and that the drum beats from there really left a mark on his playing style, which is very noticeable in any TMV record with him on it.

    Gaming Playstation 4 Pro Revealed!

So the rumor about the reason for the Xbox Scorpio wait is that they're waiting until Zen and Vega come out, which would make the 6TFLOP figure believable. Anyway, back on topic, I might actually get one of these over the summer next year since I'm curious to see if the new Gran Turismo ends up being any good. EDIT: Also, am I the only one who doesn't have a problem with the design?

    Movies/TV Star Wars Thread

So I just learned Cad Bane will be in Rogue One. Sounds nice!
  15. It's approaching the less than 1 year mark fast and we don't have any word on a cancellation, so I would have to say no.
