  1. More often than not, I take medicine for it as soon as it arrives. My experiences have proven headaches get worse before they get better and they render me almost completely useless, so may as well get rid of it before it gets worse. Oh! And I try to lower lights and that sort of thing when they're migraines.
  2. I used to, all the time. First time we met, I didn't eat anything for around 24 hours. I'd say I was mostly insecure out of fear for the worst but also because it is my first relationship too. But now that I'm living with him, can't say that I do. Same question.
  3. When it comes to common symptoms, I'd say cough and migraines. Migraines are practically impossible to get rid of until they decide to finally leave you alone and the cough, after a while, starts being incredibly painful to your throat and lungs. I see a lot of people mentioning nausea as well. Agreed, it is the exact opposite of a nice thing.
  4. It's actually interesting how my opinions about them changed. Although, I haven't seen season 8 or 9 really (maybe one day I'll get to it); my favorite went from Apple Bloom to Scootaloo while my least favorite went from Sweetie Belle to Apple Bloom. I suppose it's because Apple Bloom had a lot of focus near the beginning of the series while the other two eventually got to shine brighter.
  5. Well, I got sick so I could definitely be doing better. But I got two very nice gifts this year I can't wait to enjoy fully. Also, I had essays and stuff like that for university due until yesterday, so now I'm finally free from it for now~
  6. In terms of cartoons, MLP: FiM was definitely a defining part of the 2010s. In terms of my own life, it was also a defining part of my 2010s. Now, overall? Definitely not. So many other shows and cartoons stood out to more people than MLP ever did.
  7. Pokemon Platinum was my first game. Honestly, it could've been Diamond or Pearl since I didn't play it for very long the first time. I didn't play the ones before then because I never had a Game Boy (neither did my older brother).
  8. I'm an INFP-T. I've done the test around 3 times and always got INFP. A lot of what the site says about INFPs applies to me, so I suppose it's correct. Anyway, I didn't save my results unfortunately, but I recall the "T" part being the most extreme out of every trait last I did the test.
  9. My least favorite fruits are pears, cantaloupe and grapefruit. In terms of veggies, I dislike too many to mention them all; I suppose my least favorites are broccoli, brussels sprouts and onions.
  10. I loved Past Sins but my favorite is probably the very short A Hell of a Time. I haven't read it in a long time, but it's a hilarious fanfic, explaining what Celestia, Luna and Cadance were up to while Tirek was fighting Twilight and such.
  11. he could afford to spoil me a bit more ;3 Same question, busy with uni~
  12. Adam Lambert's cover of Believe by Cher~
  13. I wouldn't say it makes me cry all the time, but it has in some instances. It was a friend of mine's favorite song and she died young unfortunately. So whenever I hear the song, I usually think of her and how she is one of these "angels on the moon".
  14. @Bas That would be great if you could send it to me, I'd love to play it again :3
  15. Him, probably. I've been avoiding it as of late anyway Same question.
  16. I've been in one relationship, the one. Same question.
  17. I started using the internet after I was 10/11. I don't remember much of it, but I used to watch Youtube just as much as I do now.
  18. Which is the better version of "The Sound of Silence": Simon & Garfunkel's or Disturbed's?

    S&G's:

    Spoiler

    Disturbed's:

    Spoiler

My brother and I keep having this debate, but I love the original too much... I actually feel something with the original, unlike Disturbed's version, although I appreciate their cover.

Honestly, it depends on what type of music you like better. I like grand orchestral and wide sound way more than smaller feel acoustic. While the original has the credit of being the orginal, I feel something way more with the version by Disturbed. David Draiman is one of the greatest vocalists ever in Metal, and it just goes to show that being a good metal vocalist requires skill and talent.

So I think for originality, the Simon & Garfunkel one is better.

However, if you are talking about pure mastery and musical performance with a better vocalist, then the version by Disturbed is better.

Disturbed did a good job with their cover, but I'll still have to go with the original. It's hard to beat a classic like that. :rarity:

I did hear the original first, which probably plays a part...

I both like them! but I am going to support the original version more for aesthetic reasons. I usually like original versions more often because I feel they have a more innocent touch.

it's like that song from Cardie B ''I like it'' that I don't know how she did to turn pete Rodriguez's classic and sensual cha cha cha cha into something vulgar :mlp_huh: oh well, For things like this I prefer the classics! but in the case of the `` sound of silence '' I think that both versions are good ... one because it is the classic one and it has a sweet tone and the other because it looks innovative. :fluttershy:

  19. Portugal gets snow in some places, namely in the north of the country, but not where I'm from. Therefore, I've seen snow before, a lot of times actually, but I never came in contact with it. Either way, snow in Portugal usually doesn't stay on the ground for long (maybe a week or so) except for a specific place, the only one with a ski resort in the entire country called Serra da Estrela.
  20. Pretty much what Lucky Bolt said. We are similar in some ways but we're different and disagree in some stuff. Do you know what your SO's favorite drink is? What is it?

    MCM Update

... this is no longer fun.
  22. I follow 11 members, mostly friends of mine and people I've had any sort of contact with. Only 4 of them actually use the forums regularly though.
  23. I'm following 2 topics only. I used to follow every topic I participated in but it started annoying me after a while with the constant notifications.
  24. My father takes his flu shots every year. Ever since he started, he never had the flu. What I've heard as well is that you may get the flu, specially near the time you take it again because it may no longer be viable. But if you get the flu, it's supposed to be lighter than it would be if you didn't have the shot. I'd say if you have the money for it or you don't pay to take it, there's no harm in doing so. Otherwise, it's not really necessary but the flu may leave you bedridden.
  25. Why wouldn't it be ok? It really only depends on what you feel comfortable with. If you prefer not to shave, then don't. If you do, feel free to. Specially nowadays when just about everyone is ok with grooming and taking care of themselves, no matter if you're a man or a woman. Do what you want, no shame in it~
