      Well, in my province of Ontario, CPS still does their taxes. The general tax rate (HST) in the province is 13%.

      I mean, your income taxes. Here, if you're an independent contractor, income taxes are not taken out of your paycheck, instead you pay them in quarterly payments in estimated form on your own, and then it gets adjusted at the end of the tax year.

      No. CPS takes care of the taxes for themselves and the independent contractors they hire. They were able to go through the necessary legal processes in order to make it happen. The thing with CPS is that the independent contractors get paid at the end of each workday, instead of having to wait for payday at the end of each week or so.
