      You see, it is those reasons that only further as to why my skepticism remains. If a god truly wanted to reward those that it created for doing something for the betterment of their own existence, wouldn't this god want to be proud of its people regardless of whether or not the person who did it worshiped this not immediately evident god? It makes me question as to why the Christian depiction of god is so jealous like this... If he truly is the one true God, then what does he have to be j...

      jealous and insecure about? If you were the greatest and most powerful entity to ever be conceived ever, would you feel the need to be jealous of anything being that EVERYTHING would then be ultimately beneath you? Such a concept simply doesn't logically fit.

      God is only jealous of those who oppose him (Satan being the most prominent because of his rebellion against God). God is a loving God, no matter what. He truly loves us as his children. However, he sorrows over his children who are lost and confused all thanks to Satan seeding in the seeds of sin. Including doubt, violence and corruption on the earth.
