It certainly does seem like it's intentionally taking cues from both Dead Island (which I've never played) and Mirror's Edge. I can't wait to play it. I like how it gives many options for running compared to other zombie games thanks to the parkour.

Remember Brink and their parkour? It was such a disappointment.

Brink is one I've not gotten around to but I often hear something to that effect about the game.
