It depends on which one you want or plan on investing the majority of your time in really. Both have benefits, either imitate and the future.

Which game do you see yourself playing more?

I see myself playing Battlefield 4 for a longer duration compared to a CoD game. Based on my statistics, I've spent 230 hours on Black Ops and only 65 on Black Ops 2, which makes me wonder if Ghosts will be any better. I've spent a lot more time on Battlefield 3 compared two or three generations of CoD but then again, not having Premium doesn't seem to be all that bad. I'd rather have another game than something I might not even care about until one or more expansion packs for...

I'd say the benefits of Premium are rather low at the moment, but they will increase as time goes on. You can always purchase it at a later point in time. Although you may miss out on a few small things here and there, as you said Ghosts is it's own game compared to something of a staggered DLC service.
