It is an inside joke I have between me and my real life friends. When owning a touch screen device you have to live with the fact that no matter what you do at one point during the time you own that device the screen will get cracked or shatter. Of course you can always send in your device and get it fixed for a small fee, but honestly who does that? So whenever one of our touch screen devices becomes cracked we just say we customized it to be spiderman edition

Because in most cases the cracks look like webs

Objection: My old Windows Mobile PocketPC had a touch screen; it was never cracked, chipped, or shattered - rather, the other internal components started to fail after it was several years into its life.
