The Story An island that's filled with darkness and cruelty, yet it looks just like any other city at times. There are experiments happening and no one knows about it, that is until now. Even though all if this is unseen by most of the people, some of them know about it, and they are the people who are either involved with it or trying to stop it. We'll have around 4-6 players per faction. There will be one side which protects the ones that don't have the power to defend themselves and preventing the opposing organization from wrecking havoc or taking out your allies. Faction Shirudo will be looking for clues about the opposing faction, points of interest and the location of the enemy, while Faction Shinigami will plan out their next move and attack when ready. Creating Your OC Race You could be any race, from being a human with a supernatural weapon, a vampire that has superhuman powers and a familiar, a werewolf which has immense strength and toughness or a magician that can cast powerful spells. Humans will have the choice to pick any sort of acceptable weapon to suit their style of fighting as long as it's not a gun. They can enhance the weapon with the power provided by the faction if necessary, but it cannot be done many times as it will not be allowed. Only use it when in danger or when taking out one an enemy at the end of a fight or to weaken someone. Vampires look exactly like humans but they have vampiric teeth. They will have supernatural powers and can gain a permanent power boost if they suck the blood of an enemy. Beware though, you cannot go around sucking blood of just anyone, it has to be an actual roleplayer that is either willing to share their blood with you or a downed enemy. They can summon one single familiar, but the familiar cannot stay forever and will consume your power during a fight if he's summoned. They can be killed easily, so don't use them blindly. Werewolfs and humans can be told apart by the looks in their eyes, but cannot be told from afar. They can turn into a werewolf at any time which increases their body size by around 50% and strength by 75%. There is however a disadvantage as they cannot move as fast. Weak hits against his body will not affect him as the skin of a werewolf is tough. Perks of being a werewolf without having to transform is night vision. Magicians are also humans but they do not have supernatural weapons. They have their own unique types of magic, so it's unlikely that an opponent will have the same type of magic and can cast the same spells as you do. For example, there can be fire magic, void magic, nature magic, illusion magic, vector magic etc. This isn't exactly considered to be a race but a class instead. Playstyle This is a huge part of the roleplay as 25% of the posts will be us fighting each other. There are multiple styles of fighting, but we'll be using melee, magic and range. You can have a mix between two but be aware that you'll become weaker in both of you spec in two fighting styles. You can split the amount of skill between the two skills if you were to use two, for example, 75% melee and 25% range. By doing that, you can avoid losing to someone who has spec'ed into 100% melee. There are specific races that cannot play in a specific way. Here's the list of what you can choose. Human: -Melee -Magic -Range Vampire: -None, they're a unique class Werewolf: -Melee Magician: -Magic Reputation The different races have different reputations. Humans are neutral and it is fine to walk around in public. Vampires are neutral as well, and they look exactly the same as humans, so it's fine as long as they don't reveal their teeth. Werewolves have a bad reputation but it is hard to distinguish them from a far distance, but it's obvious when you look into their eyes. Factions Factions did not exist until recently when a single man ruined the peace between the different types of people that lived within the island. Shirudo They protectors of the island. The faction provides supernatural weapons to humans who don't have special abilities, and you can have the ability to enhance your weapon for a short period of time to strike down your enemies. There are no werewolves within this faction as the entire race is considered against the Shirudo. They have a database filled with all the known criminals and camera scattered around the island. Shinigami The faction that plans on taking down the Shirudo and to lay waste to the whole city built upon the island. Even though the faction does not provide them the weapons that Shirudo has, they can still obtain or own swords and weapons with magical power infused within it. They can also create weapons of destruction but since they are near bankruptcy, they can only work on one single project. Rules The rules are just the usual. -No Godmodding -No excessive swearing -No overpowered weapons -OC has to be original and not a rip-off -OC cannot be overpowered -OCs cannot be flawless -OCs cannot be invincible -Romance is allowed, but don't just magically fall in love -Slowly develop a relationship if you were to do so -Kissing is allowed, but don't make it too detailed -Be creative and write our own story as we go along -Do not obtain immense amount of power within a short period of time -Develop your character slowly -Avoid sudden personal changes without a good reason -Keep all the OOC talk on this thread -Make sure your grammar is understandable -I would appreciate it if your post contains more than the bear minimum 200 characters -Remember to have fun There are some things you know are wrong that aren't on the list, so don't say "It wasn't on the rules list." when you do something that obviously isn't allowed in just about every single other RP out there. Signing Up It's simple, just create an OC with a unique backstory to this RP and I'll read through it and see if it's acceptable. Please give your OC a Japanese name since this RP will be taking place in a fictional Japanese island. Remember to pick a faction when you're signing up! Akira was a bit confused when Saigo answered her thought. 'I must have thought out loud.' She guessed. "And what makes you so sure that the Narumi won't send an entire army against us?" Aki questioned Saigo without expecting him to know what the opposing faction plans on doing and who they're sending to Tani. "Hey Saigo, I was wondering if you know anyone from the Narumi."

Akira just smiled back at Daikuma. She couldn't wait to explore the lands of Tani. "Now that I think of it, I wonder why the best of Zetsumei were sent to retrieve the artifacts hidden within the woods." She thought out loud without even knowing it, so she wasn't expecting an answer. Aki just continued walking like nothing happened.

Akira knew that her blade never made contact with Saigo, only her poisonous needles did, but it was obvious that it didn't affect him at all and would leave no scars behind. "He blocked all of my attacks, so does that count as hitting him? If you're referring to my needles, maybe it's because he's never fought against a magic user." She replied.

Sounds like the inspiration came from one of the most overhyped games, Titanfall. Not bad, but I don't think ponies and mechs mix together that well. Good luck though, Ninja.

@, Akira didn't really realize that she has obtained such a huge amount of power through the years until she was reminded by Kuma, but how can her power be measured by simply hitting Saigo? Is he some untouchable being? "Just because I could hit Saigo doesn't really mean much, does it?" She questioned Daikuma with a rather confused look in her eyes.

Aki teleported in front of Kuma, facing towards him as she walked backwards in the direction of where they were heading. "Well, not really. None of my family members were great warriors or powerful magic users. I started practicing using a katana at first, but I started using various weapons to see which one suited my style of fighting." She explained to Kuma as she continued. "I learned magic from someone who was willing to share his knowledge, but after a year, he disappeared. I'm not really sure where he is now but I hope I could see him once more.." She let out a sigh. "I might not be very skilled with magic but I know a thing or two that gets me out of situations that I wouldn't have gotten out of without magic." When she finished talking, she teleported beside Kuma and continued walking.

If it's true that all of you are dedicated role-players and are serious about this AoT idea, I wouldn't mind busting out my OOC plan and start accepting you guys into the RP.

I find this thread to be hilarious because I've actually planned it before and I even had a system for each and individual roleplayer and a limit on how many people can play as Titans and their stats and special abilities. In fact, I had an entirely new story planned out as well, until I was disappointed by the fact that only two people were interested..

"Yoroshikune Tsuyosa-san, Rinsame-san!" She said cheerfully before introducing herself to the two bodyguards. "My name is Akira Sakurai, nice to meet you. You can call me Aki if you want." Akira looked at the muscular bodyguard and asked him "How come you're so tall, Kuma?" She waited curiously for his answer.

Akira was somewhat relieved when Saigo told her that he'd spare her life. When she walked over and bent down to pick up her katana, the second she laid hands on it, the earth shook from the landing of someone who was at least double the size of her. She quickly teleported herself right beside Saigo before he told him to back down. Akira smiled nervously before she answered his question. "I just wanted to see if we were on the same level of skill and how you'd react when I pointed my blade at you." She explained briefly to Saigo before she placed her Nagamaki on her back and asked "Shall we start our journey towards Tani, General?" with a smile on her face.

Her eyes widened when Saigo said that poison wasn't his weakness. 'No way, I didn't know someone could be immu-' Her thought was halted by a pain-filled strike against her chest as she flew back, her mouth opened from the pain that cannot be described with words alone. She looked up from the floor and saw that his sake was 50% poison. "What?!" She exclaimed as she listened to everything he said. 'Not only is he immune to poison, but pain as well..' The hit knocked her back to where her katana laid on the floor, and stayed laying down on the floor to recover from the attack. "I.. I can't believe it." she mumbled, and before she could stand up, Saigo's blade was right beside her neck. She laughed and said "It was fun while it lasted.." Akira moved her neck a bit away from his blade and just smirked with a drop of blood running down the side of her mouth. She was never used to taking any damage because she usually manages to block most of her opponents attacks, but Saigo was different, he was way too powerful for her. Akira said "We should do this again one day once I get one of those fancy artifacts." smiling as she waited for Saigo to make his decision between letting her go or taking her life. Akira heard the tactician clapping as he introduced himself to her. 'Ehhh, I'm kinda in the middle of something.' She told herself before replying him. "Hey Isamu, nice to meet you.." she said in a subtle and emotionless voice due to the threatening blade sitting right beside her.

The smirk on her face started to fade when Saigo didn't look like he was experiencing any pain whatsoever. 'No way, that should have put him down on the ground..' Even though she paused for a few seconds to think things through, it didn't stop her from delivering her final blow. She gripped her Nagamaki with both her hands, temporarily enhanced her strength by 75% with all the power she had left within her for a very short period of time and launched herself into the air towards him with a hurling spin to gain more speed and power before she lands. Her weapon gained more and more strength as she approached him from the power of gravity. "Hehe.. Good luck blocking this when you're paralyzed." She giggled as her blade was only a second away from meeting his neck.

That was the strongest she could hit, and even that, he managed to block it. No matter how hard her hits were, he ends up blocking it no matter the angle. "You're a lot stronger than what I expected, Saigo." She backed up a few steps and formed a half circle of hundreds of venomous needles that should render him immobile. They all flew towards him like iron bits being attracted to a huge magnet. "Lets see if you can dodge this." Akira whispered to him as she watched the needles approaching him in slow motion from the anticipation. (If I'm not using colours in my posts, it means I'm posting with my phone and the quality of them is usually lower. Also, the needles are poisonous themselves and will turn into liquid form a few seconds after contact.)

Her blade struck against his, deflecting it back. Akira placed up a weak magic barrier in front of her before his blade made contact, shattering it as his blade made contact with it. She propelled herself backwards, leaving a trail of dust as she stood three meters away from Saigo. "Not bad, I didn't expect you to block that attack, especially in such a calm state of mind you're in right now." She said as she tossed her katana aside and took her Nagamaki off her back. "Let's see if this new attack of mine was inside those documents of yours." She said as she spun her blade then standing in an aggressive stance before launching herself in a curved angle as she gripped her blade and swung her Nagamaki at him with all her strength, mostly powered by the wind pushing the blade forward as it gained more speed as it came closer to Saigo. It was a strike strong enough to knock someone back whether or not they block it.

Akira grinned as she teleports right behind him as she was still in the air from the launch and switches from poison to a scorching red blade. 'You might have the ability to deflect an attack with your fancy ring, but it won't prevent you from getting burnt.' Her flaming blade was milliseconds away from penetrating his back. 'Theres no way he can dodge this..' She thought to herself with the slightest bit of fear in her eyes.

Not a single word came out of her mouth after everything Saigo said. A tear of sweat came running down from her face, but she wasn't scared. She stood in an aggressive pose, gripped her teeth and launched herself straight towards him with her sword, redirecting it towards his right arm to prevent fatal damage. Akira knew that he'll easily block her attack, but there was something he doesn't know..

Akira was thinking about doing a little test before they left, but one which might put herself in danger. She withdrew her blade within a millisecond and pointed it straight at Saigo's neck, but not close enough to make him react instantly as it did not pose a huge threat. She kept silent and looked at him with a calm yet serious look on her face. 'I wonder how he'll react to such a situation..' She thought to herself as she infused the blade with a poison touch on the tip of her blade. A drip fell down from her blade and melted a shred of grass on the floor.

@@LOLINKLOL, "I guess the warriors of Zetsumei decided to stay at home." She commented on his little statement before she continued. "My name is Akira Sakurai, one of the few warriors that uses magic alongside my weapons." She replied the tactician. "What about you?" Akira asked.

'No wonder he's the leader of the team. Forming a squad with all sorts of talents and skills is definitely better than a bunch of powerful grunts.' She wondered if anyone else was on their way here, but she was starting to lose patience. "Lets just go once the tactician arrives, I'm sick of waiting." (Rage says he's dropping out, so let's just play along.)

She looked in the general direction that Saigo was and saw someone approaching. "How did you recognize him from such a distance?" She thought out loud, wondering if he even recognized him or if it was just simply a blind guess. 'Wait, our tactician?' Akira was confused, "Why do we need a tactician?" she asked Saigo.
