Akira was someone who the locals disliked, and some even try to kill her but to no avail. She hides her identity by wearing a torn cloak. It all started after she killed the son of the chief in charge of the village she lived in. Most of the people who see her will recognize her and cower away with fear painted on their face. She never wanted this to happen. It was supposed to be a friendly duel until it turned into a fight where only one would walk away alive.
Two guys approached her unwillingly like someone sent them to kill me. Akira sighed, wondering why people even bother. “Look, I don’t want to ki-” Before she could finish her sentence, a massive fireball came flying straight towards me. Akira blocked it with a magical barrier and withdrew her katana. She infused it with the poison of a thousand snakes and launched herself straight towards both of them.
She tagged both of them with her katana, wounding them lightly and rendering them immobile with the unbearable pain from the toxic liquid that is slowly going through their veins. Akira walked over to one of them and whispered into his ear “Don’t worry, I’ll end your misery.” before the tip of her blade met his neck.
As she approached her house, she saw a bird of some sort heading towards her with a letter gripped between his claws. Before you know it, it fell down and landed in front of her. She knew it wasn’t just some ordinary letter, so she picked it up and started reading it. “Why did I get chosen, out of all the people from Zetsumei?” When she finished reading, she made up her mind and decided to go.
Akira hurried inside and packed everything, including the Nagamaki which she doesn’t really use that often because her katana was a more viable choice since it was easier to carry around. She hooked up the Nagamaki onto her back, placed her katana on the left side on her belt and tied the two daggers together and strapped it around her belt as well. “I guess this is a new beginning for me.” She said with a grin as she walked out of the door and towards the meeting point.
After a few hours of walking, Akira started to approach the location where she was told to go in the letter. "I think I arrived a bit too early.." She told herself as she took a seat nearby and waited for the others to come, curious about these artifacts and the power within each and every one of them. "I can't wait to get my hands on one of them."
