"You can't hide your feelings from me, Zeke.. You're more than just friends with Raiya, I just know it." Chelsea started to slowly circle around him, standing right behind him and whispered "Gotcha." right beside his ear before lowering the gravity around her and jumped into the air, floating like a bubble towards where Raiya was at. -------------------- "Huh? Connection? With who? Wait.. Did I say that out loud?! I-I didn't mean it! I have no feelings for him! Don't tell anyone I said that, okay?" She looked at Saiya with a flustered look.
  2. Even though Auria wasn't there with the others, she was listening to every single word they were saying. 'Explain your powers..' She repeated those very words in her head. 'What would they think of me if I tell them that I'm a flesh-eating ghoul? M-Maybe they'll forget about me if I just stand here drinking my cup of coffee..' Auria thought to herself as she took another sip from her mug.
  3. Auria literally fell asleep when Charles replied her question about why he hunts animals. However, she was woken up by the person who started ranting about how he couldn't drink in peace without being forced into helping Area do their dirty work. Auria let out a satisfying yawn before rubbing her eyes and walked over to the coffee machine. She opened the cupboards and found a stash of clean mugs readily available for use. Without a second thought, she grabbed one and placed it under the coffee-making contraption and clicked the most obvious button on it. She stood there silently, watching as the mug gets filled up with coffee. When it was done, she held the mug with two hands and started sipping on it ever so quietly with her back against the others.
  4. "I don't really understand why people hunt wild animals.. To skin them? Eat them? Or for fun, maybe? Why do you hunt?" She questioned him in return. It has always been a mystery to her why human beings enjoy killing innocent wildlife with their fancy rifles and bullets. Auria also wondered why he was interested in knowing what her favorite animal was, but she couldn't figure it out. 'What did he want me to say..?' She thought to herself.
  5. "You mean Sam? I-I don't think she'd pass out like that.." Auria looked over at the coffee machine when he pointed at it, but she was just too lazy to get up and make herself a cup of coffee. "Oh, I completely forgot to introduce myself to you earlier. I'm Auria Chan, nice to meet you." She said. "Favourite animal, you say? Well, I like cats.. You don't hunt cats, do you?"
  6. "It's really no big deal at all, Sam.. I-" It looked like none of her words got through to her, so she just sat there as she watched her cast some sort of healing spell on her arm, which wasn't really necessary since it was healing rapidly on its own. It felt funny when she casted the spell on her arm since it was the first time Auria has come in contact with any sort of magic. "It was me. I bit myself.." She said in a quiet voice. She noticed one of them approaching Sam and her, so she covered her arm with her other hand and listened to what he had to say. When he left, she looked at Sam and said "Maybe we should get going. Wouldn't want to be late now, would we?" before she grabbed her belongings and said "Catch you around, Sam." with a smile before she headed to the living quarters. Auria headed into the Females' Quarters and looked for her room. Each door had a name on it, so she looked for her own name and when she found it, she took out her ID card and unlocked the door. Auria shut the door closed behind him and looked at the time. "15 minutes, eh?" She finished with a sigh as she tossed her backpack at the side of her bed and left her luggage near the entrance. Auria headed into the toilet and saw a first-aid cabinet, which was exactly what she was looking for. She took out the fabric bandage roll and wrapped it around her bite wound. Getting an infection was not what she was worried about, but how horrid it looks. She was more worried about her appearance than her health, and since based on what she is, it feels like she's already half dead anyway. She took out her phone and glanced at the time. "I think he said something about meeting at the lounge.." She mumbled to herself before she headed back out and into the hallway. Auria made sure the door was locked before heading to the lounge area where she saw the person who told her to meet up with the others. It looked like he was quite happy with his mug in his hand, and she wondered why. Auria approached him and sat down on a chair across where he was sitting and said "I could sure use some coffee.." in a sleepy tone of voice.
  7. @@Octavia's Bow, Auria glanced at her when she took off her hood. You could see how sleepy she was from the way she talked and the bags under her eyes. When Sam asked her if she was hurt, she looked at her own arm and noticed that there was a bit of blood left from what happened before. "Oh, it's not a big deal." She smiled in return. Auria rolled up her sleeve and showed it to her when she asked if she could take a closer look at it. There were bite marks and a different color to it, which was a bit paler than her skin tone, though it should fade off in time. "Name's Auria, what about you?"
  8. Auria was a killer, a murderer, and an absolute monster, or that's what she thought. There was just so much going on in her life. First a group called Area takes her in knowing that she wasn't completely human and two years later she gets sent over to Area 51 which was in USA. Auria didn't even bother reading the letter she received from the higher-ups, but she knew she had to go, and she couldn't escape because she knew they would just find her. "I guess I don't have a choice.." She mumbled as she took the MTR all the way over to the airport and got off with a small luggage and a backpack. Area provided her the money for a ticket, since she couldn't really afford it herself. Eventually she got on the plane, where she was told that the ride was going to take around twelves hours. Surprisingly enough, the ticket was actually a seat in the first-class section, so that was a plus. It was her first time she got to ride in first class, but it didn't really matter to her. She sat down and tried to relax, but the thoughts of what kind of people she would meet and how she would get judged by others when she arrived worried her. It wasn't a big deal but it felt like it was everything to Auria. Her disorder doesn't help either. She groaned in frustration as she covered herself with her hoodie and fell asleep before the plane even took off because it was night time in Hong Kong and she was quite the sleeper, having the ability to fall asleep within minutes. The plane landed quite smoothly and before you know it, everyone started to get off the plane in a hurry. She was woken up by the noise of others chatting off on their phone, so Auria grabbed her belongings and got off the plane. Her stomach growled as she headed out the gates, which isn't a good sign. She was starving since she didn't eat anything on the flight, and normal human food just wouldn't cut it. Auria needed flesh or else she would go insane. She held it in and left the airport. Auria spotted a recognizable Area car, so she got in without saying a single word as they headed towards Area 51. One of the agents handed her an ID card with her name on it, so she pocketed it. The car was going quite fast, but maybe it was because Auria was acting quite threatening, like a lion who was about to devour its prey. Before she knew it, the car came to a halt so she got off and headed through the entrance. The thought of having to eat herself to satisfy her hunger sent a shiver down her spine, but she might just have to since she looked half dead, which isn't that surprising. Auria looked around and spotted the elevator, so she went over and swiped her card before she entered since that's what all the cool kids do nowadays. *Beep* went the card scanner as she entered the elevator and went down. With her ID card still in her right hand, she exited the elevator and flashed it at the guards before putting it back into her pocket. Her hoodie was pretty much casting a shadow across her face so it was hard to see how she looked like, but it was definitely a girl from the way she was dressed. Auria spotted a group of people near the bar, but she didn't want to approach them because she looked awful, and it would give everyone a bad impression of her if they saw how she looked like right now. She headed to the toilet on the left and looked in the mirror. "Gosh, I look awful.. Aaah, whatever.." She said as she bit into her left arm and took a chunk of meat off herself. Even though she could regenerate it, it was definitely going to leave a scar behind for many years to come. It was the first time she has ever consumed her own flesh, but it wasn't that bad since she was half human after all. Auria felt relieved from hunger, but she was kind of disgusted that she are herself. Luckily, within a minute, the wound regenerated enough to stop the bleeding. "I feel better already!" She said cheerfully with relief as she washed the blood off her hands and headed out of the toilet. She saw a girl with a cloak watching TV, and she was sitting quite far from the others. Auria didn't know if she should approach her or the others, but she followed her gut and approached her instead of the people chatting away at the minibar. Auria sat down on the same couch the other girl was sitting on and said "They look like they're getting along with each other quite well." referring to the others gathered around the minibar. Auria wasn't making any eye contact with her since she seems quite tired from what it looked like to her. "So, where are you from?" Auria asked as she tries to spark some sort of conversation.

Hikari grabbed a piece of chicken and started nibbling on it ever so slowly. She didn't have much of an appetite, but it would be awkward if she just sat there. "I wonder how Zeke is doing now.." Hikari mumbled without even knowing. ------ Chelsea knew how he felt, especially since how Raiya and Zeke were so close to each other, or so she thought. "So, are you two together or something?" She asked teasingly.

Chelsea thought about the things she could get from a convenience store. "I'll have two bottles of water and a granola bar. Thanks Rai!" She replied before skipping over to Zeke and introduced herself. "Hey there, Zeke. My name's Chelsea. Nice to meet you." She finished with a cheerful smile.

Everything happened so quickly, and one thing lead to another.. First, Zeke was charging at her and Raiya blinked right in front of her, stopping him right in his tracks and dispelling his plasma attack. It was then when she knew that Raiya wasn't kidding about what she said. Chelsea stayed as calm as possible since she didn't want to give her friends a bad first impression, but she's not the best with first impressions. "Who would have thought we'd become allies?" She said with a smirk.

It was Chelsea's first time traveling through such a dimension, and it was actually quite pretty and pleasant, bursting with vivid colors. However, it did not last long as both of them popped back into reality near the gas station where she spotted someone approaching her. It was the same person she fought around ten minutes ago. Chelsea knew it wasn't going to be pretty if he fought her again, but she believed that Raiya wasn't going to let either of us get hurt. Chelsea noticed his tattoo glowing, and she knew it wasn't a good sign. "I guess you're not here to thank me, are you?" She joked around as he approached.

Chelsea could feel her wounds closing up when the bright light came in contact with it. There was a tingly sensation and it didn't take long before she felt like nothing happened. She hopped back up and said "Thanks." with a smile. "Maybe we should go meet up with your friends. One of them sounded really sad when he thought you died.."

"Sure." Chelsea limped over to where Raiya was and laid down on the grass. She took a deep breath and closed her eyes. Chelsea felt exhausted from all that fighting, and she was relived that it was finally over, and even though she failed to assassinate her target, Chelsea felt like the mission was a success nonetheless.

Chelsea took a deep breath of relief as she reached out and shook Raiya's hand. "It's funny you bring the word disappointment up, since I just "disappointed" whoever hired me to kill you.." She finished with a subtle laugh. "I'm just a bit worried about people coming after me for getting on his bad side.." Chelsea referred to the person who hired her.

Is it a chance to escape? A surprise attack, maybe? No, it was a chance of a lifetime. A one-eighty degree turn in her life. Chelsea knew that she wasn't going to get another chance like this one, but she wanted to ask her something before she joined her side. "That's a really tempting offer, Raiya, but how could you trust someone that just tried to kill you? What do you see in me that makes you believe I won't?" ------ Hikari gently held onto Sayaa's hand as they walked all the way to the restaurant with Shane. When all three of them arrived, she noticed that Shane knew one of the workers that was behind the register, so she gave him a quick smile before sitting down on one of the empty seats.

Chelsea ducked and shielded her face with her two hands alongside restoring the original size of her bubble to it's original size when she saw the flaming arrows raining down upon her, setting it to deflect anything that came into contact. However, after deflecting a dozen of them, Chelsea just couldn't take it anymore and a bombardment of flaming arrows tore her flesh as each one flew past her. She tried to endure the pain, but it wasn't something Chelsea was used to. By the time the arrows stopped coming, she opened her eyes and shouted "What do you want from me!?" as loud as she could.

Chelsea hopped backwards when Raiya pushed her fist against hers and shouted "It's not like I have a choice!" before punching the ground with already wounded hand, shattering the ground and causing debris to fly around her before she restored the size of her bubble and levitated bits and pieces of stones and rock around her in the circular motion at a relatively fast speed before she raised her right hand with her palm facing Raiya and sent it all flying towards her at around 1200 feet per second.

Chelsea knew it was going to backfire, and she might even lose her arm, but it wasn't going to stop her from trying to strike her target down. She screamed as her fist collided with Raiya's. Her shield absorbed most of the force when their fists collided, but she felt the bones in her hands cracking when it went through her little bubble of finite protection. Chelsea could only hope that her attack did something.

Chelsea looked into Raiya's eye's with her unamused and emotionless eyes and said "Maybe you're just simply too scared to try.." before she clenched her fist, shrunk her sphere down to the size of her hand, fixed it on her fists and went for a punch straight at her face. However, it was no ordinary punch. Chelsea increased the force of collision so much that it would give out around 800lbs of force.

Chelsea stood as still as a tree and stayed as calm as she could. She placed right hand out and shrunk her bubble four times in size, fixing it on her palm when she saw Raiya preparing some sort of projectile spell. It was the size of a shield, but no one could see it, not even Chelsea, but she could feel it. The power of the sphere multiples the smaller it gets, and it was enough to absorb it and redirect it, however since she is wounded, doing that would be more difficult. Chelsea aimed it at where the beam was going to hit and toggled her sphere to redirect anything that comes in contact. When the projectile collided with her circular shield of nothingness, it bounced right off like a laser being reflected on a mirror. The funny thing is that it looked like she did it with her bare hands. "Nice shot, Raiya.. Sadly an attack like that ain't gonna do." Chelsea shouted across to her with a grin before she returned her sphere to its original size. However, she was actually breathing rapidly from how close she was from missing her chance to block her attack.
