    Omg I cannot take my anxiety much longer T_T I have to schedule a drive with my driver's ed instructor within a month but I am really nervous about driving cars... I feel nowhere near used to them and don't want to have to practice some place where I'll probably hit someone or something.. I mean I made it home from the DMV but afterwards I felt super shaky and stared up at my ceiling for roughly an hour. I feel so embarrassed for not feeling comfortable in a car.. I have the knowledge but I apparently don't have the skills..

      I remember my driving test I was so nervous I tried turning the car key a bunch of times thinking something was wrong with it only to realize the car was on the whole time  I passed the test but I haven't driven a car since

      Thanks guys... I am really worried now that I have to get moving and get used to things quick because I have to have my first drive with my driving instructor within a month now and I'm nervous just about getting back behind the wheel..

      When I first started driving I was extremely nervous. When I would hit highway speeds at 55mph I used to death grip the steering wheel, start sweating profusely and had a hell of a time even changing the radio station. Over time however the more you practice the less anxiety you will feel and it will become second nature. I would recommend you practice on open highways out in rural areas so that you can get comfortable behind the wheel and build confidence in your driving abilities.
