  1. No, not all of it. While I do agree some of us definitely caused the hate, otherwise the haters wouldn't exist, it's not all of us. It's something that goes on in both anti-bronies and bronies. The most vocal ones are the ones everyone notices. Let me give a real life example, there is this school down the road that is known for being the school "the bad kids go to". In-fact, some people who go there are very nice; but because some of the people there are abusive and loud, people are led to believe everyone/most people who go there are like that. That is my hypothesis on why each fandom opposes eachother so much, both bronies and anti-bronies believe that, because a small percentage of the fandom/anti-fandom are obnoxious, all the fans/haters are obnoxious to boot.
  2. I'd be a counsellor, I love helping people. That might sound quite shallow and girly, but it's my passion. I used to have, well - problems, as a kid. I shan't name the disorder, but it was a pretty serious one. While I do still display some minor traits to this day (I'm terrified of people throwing sports balls at me for some reason 0,0) I'm mostly cured. And it wasn't me. It was the sheer amount of help I received. It was almost too much, by the time I reached secondary school any trace of the disorder had left my body (apart from those damn sports balls, why do they frighten me? I ask myself the same question every day). Of course, I still *have to* receive some help legally, E.g: help with structure, socialisation - otherwise the school would be breaking the law - but I don't need it any more. That's one of the main reasons I want to become a counsellor, to repay the help I was given. I also have a burning passion for people, but that's another story. Wow, that got dark fast.
  3. I haven't seen 2D, so I don't know his personality, but unless Derpy got lucky (in the way that she derped in a manner swaying the battle in her favour) 2D would win. I think most people could beat a pony that wasn't a unicorn in a fight to the death.
  4. Depends on the way they act. If they're obsessive and over 40, I get creeped. If they just like the show, they're no worse than the rest of us
  5. If we were all the same, All so mundane, What would be the point of life? We would all like the same things, We would all like the same people. We would all like the same television programs, We would all like the same video games, We would all like football, We would all like dressup. So, When you find something that is not the norm, think to yourself, Isn't it great to be different?
  6. So I'm zecora? Yeah, that sounds right.
  7. Show him how sucessful I am in school (60% A's, 10% B's, 30% C's) then walk off if he continued to pester me, I don't want friends who think my show preference defines me. That's like saying because my phone wallpaper is from my favourite video game (Mother 3, anyone?) I'm obviously obsessed with it to no end.
  8. I'm so selfless it's annoying. I wasted half my spare money on cakes for people I barely knew just because they joked that they wanted some... So I guess my cutie mark'd be a heart.
  9. I like anime's art style, but I'm not really an Otaku. The only anime I've watched is 'Howl's Moving Castle'.
  10. Wait, waifu is used universally now? Hooray! Now I can stop having to say 'X is a fictitious character I have a crush on' to stop anime haters spring on me! I don't have a pony waifu, oddly enough. While there are characters I find exceptionally cute (Fluttershy, Twily) there are none I have to any extent a crush on. However, for the sake of contributing to this thread, I'll put my non-pony waifu here. Kumatora. Dat girl is whigedy whigedy whack yo. Tomboy? Check. Intellectual? Check. Beautiful? Well, from 99% of fan art (one of which can be seen below) - I think it's pretty safe to say check. FREAKIN MAGIC POWERS? CHECK!
  11. A run down of the anti-brony fanbase. 95%: Trolls. 5%: Legitimately dislike bronies. How to deal with trolls: #IGNORE How to deal with legitimate haters: These people will actually sit down and talk to you about it. So do that.
  12. The Stages of my Bronyness-ness-ness Stage 1: Discomfort about the fanbase. Time Spent: 30 minutes Stage 2: "Weirdos!" Time Spent: 2 Days Stage 3: ANTI BRONY MODE ACTIVATE! Time Spent: 1 Week Stage 4: Forced to watch the show. Time Spent: 22 Minutes Stage 5: That wasn't TOO bad... Time Spent: 1 Day Stage 6: Watching a few more episodes... Um, because I'm bored... I don't... Like it or anything... Time spent: A few hours. Stage 7: Oh damn. I like it. Time Spent: A morning and half an afternoon. Stage 8: Damn. I'm a brony... Time Spent: Then till now.
  13. I don't really "hate" anything in our fandom, but some things I DISLIKE are... Shipping - WHY OH WHY DO YOU WANT PINK CARTOON PONIES TO FALL IN LOVE WITH EACH OTHER? Really, I don't get it. Waifu's - Same as above, but replace each other with you. I only have one SEMI-Waifu in everything I know, and that's Kumatora from Mother 3. (Seriously, who WOULDN'T have a crush on her if she was real? Butt-kicking tomboy with magic powers FTW!) I don't really care about cloppers, though. You can't control what you're sexually attracted to. Heck, even I have a minor fetish of sorts. Honourable Mention Rainbow Dash - She's okay, definitely not my least favourite, but she gets way over-hyped! That said, if you like any of the above - don't be offended. It's just my opinion. ----- No one thinks like that, do they? If they do, take ten points away from "faith in humanity". If they don't add five points to "faith in humanity". Also, MLP is not aimed at 7 year olds. People stop liking it at 6 in most cases.
