I always wonder something whenever I record, photograph or film something in public whether for YT or my other interests. If it is within our rights to film, photograph and record stuff out in public property whenever you like with or without somebody's permission. Why do people feel the need to be triggered or upset when I do even though what I do for my YT channel or my hobbies are not their business to begin with? I don't go bother them in, let's say a public library, and be like "Ohhh! reading stuff about WWII is too violent!" or whatnot.Β

They were just getting worked up saying I need their permission to film and whatnot and that a sidewalk or road doesn't count as public land. He even asked for my name andΒ such too which I have every right to refuse a regular citizen that information too. They were probably gonna report me to the police which, even if they did and they showed up, no law was broken.
