  1. Diamond Tiara has become a well-written character now that we got to see what her family is like. She's the product of a much-implied loveless marriage and the target of abuse by Spoiled Rich. For anyone with an abusive parent, that does hit close to home.
  2. I highly doubt it. She's the epitome of a gold-digger, marrying Filthy Rich because of his wealth. Given the way she treats Diamond Tiara, I wouldn't be surprised if thinks the same of Filthy.
  3. I was born a few months after George H.W. Bush was sworn in but I don't remember too much about his presidency. I only knew about him when Animaniacs pointed out that he said, "Read my lips."
  4. I hope the writers make a reference to this: http://youtu.be/-UyxR9g7xi4
  5. I think Tom Brady is the other kind of GOAT: Greatest Of All Time.
  6. First time ever a Super Bowl will go into overtime. What a choke job by Atlanta. Edit: Of all the games to be decided by a defensive pass interference call, why the freaking Super Bowl?
  7. Just throwing this out here. No team has ever come back from 14 points down in the Super Bowl. And now three straight defensive holding calls on the Falcons, each on third down. Refs trying to make this game interesting. Unbelievable. Brady throws a pick six. Goodnight, everybody.
  8. Watching "Where the Apple Lies" again, something disturbing crossed my mind and I'm not sure if anyone else picked up on it. At the time of the flashback, Filthy was engaged to Spoiled and Diamond Tiara and Apple Bloom were not born yet. Filthy and Spoiled were seen together at the hospital just before the operation scene. Given Diamond Tiara's age, it very well implies that Granny Smith's story takes place around the same time Spoiled conceived Diamond. If that's the case, Spoiled may have gotten pregnant on purpose to rope Filthy into marrying her. And this is a show for kids. Yikes.
  9. @@cwhip9, @, Fudge and Sundae just stared at Lord Senvious as he devoured the cookies on the tray and confronted Pinkie Pie when she tried to take them away. They took either side of String Shot, thinking it best not to get involved. "What a greedy colt," Sundae whispered to nopony in particular. "Where'd he come from?" Fudge asked to himself.
  10. I've been inspired by the School Days RP to try this out: an RP where fillies and colts go to Camp Friendship. Your OC will take part in activities such as swimming, games, a talent show, hiking, canoeing, roasting marshmallows, telling ghost stories, etc. Some general rules: -You may RP as OC's or canon characters but the limit of characters you can play is three. -Non-pony OC's are welcome. -Campers must be children or early adolescents (roughly ages 7-12). You may have a younger version of your OC sign up to meet this criteria. -Openings are also available for staff members such as counselors and cooks. The age range for staff members is teen to adult and I will place a limit when I think I have enough. -I'm aiming for this to be G-rated though I will allow some PG material at the very worst. Campers: 1. Fudge Cookie (Yoshi89) 2. Sundae Shake (Yoshi89) 3. Thundy (C. Thunder Dash) Staff: 1. Alto Tuner (Yoshi89)
  11. New England's my pick. I still think only Eli can tame them.
  12. Yawn. Another conference championship blowout. Looks like it will be the Pats.
  13. Packers and Patriots. Antonio Brown only fired up his opposition and his team will pay for it.m
  14. @@cwhip9, @, Fudge and Sundae looked with their mouths open at all the cakes they could possibly give to Scar. All of them looked so good that they wished they could bring each one of them over! "Wish we knew what his favorite food is," Sundae said. "Maybe we can give him a surprise flavor instead of a popping surprise." "Maybe a cookie cake," Fudge suggested. "Everyone liked the cookies our mom made. No one can turn down cookies in a cake, right?" Neither of the twins noticed the silver blue-eyed alicorn behind them while they were conferring their options until they looked his way past String. "I bet that colt over there knows," Sundae told String, casually pointing at Lord Senvious.
  15. @@cwhip9, @, I'm about to make a post. Is it fine if I still have Fudge and Sundae with String Shot at Sugarcube Corner for interaction?
  16. Non-alcoholic: green tea. Alcohol: rum and coke
  17. The Steelers are going to Foxboro next weekend.
  18. Great game but more importantly, goodbye Cowboys!
  19. All five playoff games so far have been routs. The average margin of victory is 20.4. I expect more of the same from New England and Houston.
  20. At first they did but those missed touchdown catches in the beginning sealed their fate. I'm now fine as long as the Seahawks don't get in.
  21. And the Giants are capping off a boring weekend by folding to the Packers it seems.
