  1. Mercury through a shot enters the bloodstream directly bypassing the normal bodily filtration systems that the Mercury would otherwise go through if it was ingested instead of injected. In addition your average vaccine has 51 parts per million which is 25,000 times the safe recommended level in drinking water set by the EPA and your average child is being subjected to dozens of these shots throughout their childhood.

Vaccines actually don't contain mercury anymore, aside from the flu shot which contains ethylmercury. Even though it is still mercury it won't stay in the bloodstream as you suggest. Also the bloodstream has great filtration in the form of kidneys and liver.

Here is a description as to why:

Thiomersal/thimerosal, the mercury-containing preservative that was once used in children's vaccines, is metabolized into ethylmercury in the body. Ethylmercury is cleared out of the blood in only a few days and does not bioaccumulate over long periods of time to build up to toxic levels. Other mercury-containing compounds, such as methylmercury (the kind that you get from eating predatory fish), do tend to bioaccumulate and can eventually lead to mercury poisoning if consumed in excess. In other words, not all mercury-containing compounds are equally bioaccumulative and toxic.

It is true that some people make irresponsible choices but does that mean there should be laws banning junk food and forcing people to exercise? We already have restrictions and even bans on trans fats in some cities and the ban on the sale of sodas larger than 16 ounces in New York City so why not go all the way and just make the government dictate everything everyone can say, do, eat and drink? Also there are a lot of doctors that are on the take and since the medical school are being hijacked by pharmaceutical companies have been outright brain washed on a lot of things.

Medicine is hard. Like, really hard. It takes many months to develop a new drug. When they do find one they discover that it causes fatigue as well as cure whatever symptom. Pharmaceutical companies test their drugs for a really long time. Before making it to human trials. It just takes too long, and it is really expensive to find a effective drug. They may want to make money, but so does everyone else. They need money to research new drugs, and if these companies didn't exist we probably wouldn't have any of the actual life-saving drugs.

Yes but there are some decisions which they have no business making like personal medical decisions for example. I keep hearing all this talk about how everyone will take vaccines if they are not required but have you ever considered that one reason more and more people might be refusing to take these vaccines is actually a backlash from them being increasingly forced on people as well concerns being completely and totally ignored and tossed aside? If you treat people like children and not allow them to make their own choices than you get a self fulfilling prophecy of people who are so utterly dependent and sheep like that they can't make their own choices.

That's true we don't want sheeple, but where should the line be drawn?

What should or shouldn't be regulated? Honestly banning unvaccinated kids from schools makes sense. As they are just telling them if they want to go here they need to follow the rules. Not a mandatory shot, just a hoop to jump through to make sure that the other kids stay safe.

  2. I think shipping is fun. But you need to have your priorities straight.

It's a CARTOON, and I've literally had people basically stop talking to me because I liked a ship they didn't. If you care more about your headcanon for a fictional show that you do for another human being, you have a problem.

Yeah it is unfortunate when that happens. The non-face to face way computers work can causes some problems.

  3. I apologize for the really long comment. It is just that I have spent a lot of time researching this subject so I know some stuff. Feel free to ask me questions on some of my counters.

Vaccines don't cause neural damage. It just doesn't make any logical sense. The study that suggested that got thoroughly rebutted.

Herd immunity only works if over 92% of people are vaccinated. Currently it is at 91%. Yes some people who have been vaccinated can still catch the disease. Plus there are people that are allergic to the eggs in vaccines. That is why herd immunity is important.

There are people who can get sick, or even die from vaccines. However this number of people dying is under 1%. Compare that the fatality rate of measles which cause 2.3 million deaths per year before vaccines

The toxic additives are so small that they aren't actually toxic. The amount of mercury in vaccines is at such a low amount that are bodies get rid of it before it can cause any damage. Mercury is even in breast milk.

On the flip side, absolutely everything can be toxic in high enough dosages. Including water. Just google "Water toxicity" for more information.

Also 'theory' is the highest point a scientific idea can reach in science. For example, Gravity is still a theory. What you seem to think a theory is is actually a hypothesis. Which is basically a educated guess. While a theory is a heavily tested answer.

Unfortunately people are stupid regarding their bodies. We know that exercise is good for us, but how many people actually do it? We know that we shouldn't eat a lot of junk food, and yet people still eat to much junk food. The reason we have doctors is so that we can focus our decision making on other important things, instead of trying to learn what a doctor has spent over 50,000 hours of their life to learn.

The reason we have politicians is so that they can make the decisions that will benefit the country as a whole, and not just the individual. What happens when millions of the population die because of measles. A disease that could have been prevented by vaccines that only have a failure rate of <1%? It is even in the "selfish" politicians best interest to keep the population alive and well. Otherwise they won't get as much money.

You said "just because you believe in something doesn't give you the right to force it on others". What happens when they know that vaccines work, but only when mostly everyone is vaccinated? There is a reason we don't have small pox or polio anymore, and the answer is vaccines. Back when vaccines first came out everyone got a shot. And lo and behold the disease is pretty much extinct now. Measles was the same way until parents started to refuse vaccinations.

Regarding whether or not it should be a choice. Say someone is walking down the street with a highly contagious disease. Would you rather him to continue walking. Potentially infecting everyone? Or quarantine him to his house so that he doesn't infect anyone?

I think it should be mandatory that if one should go into a public place they should have been vaccinated. If we stay at home all the time? Great don't get vaccinated. However, how likely is that for everyone?

However, I do agree that it should be a choice, a empathetic choice so that I don't harm anyone by being close to them. However, with the number of people required for vaccines to work properly. How can we be sure that everyone will make that choice?

One other point I think I should address. Vaccines won't weaken our immune system. Think of building muscle. does training muscles weaken them for when we need them? Maybe if you get into a fight right after training, but not if you have been training for weeks prior.

Here is a video explaining vaccines better than I could https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3aNhzLUL2ys

  4. Honestly,I do have standards.

    I didn't mean to suggest that you didn't. ;)

While I don't have any kids of my own. Being the oldest of seven sometimes feels like I am the third parent.

(not the best third parent be any means.) So I can relate to what the cakes' deal with. That is part of the reason I like the ship. But hey, That is my view. it doesn't matter to me whether or not you ship them. To each their own.

  5. Now that I think more of it more, it makes more sense that the first religions were born from poor understanding of the natural world, rather than being failed science.

Put more simply science explains the "How?" while religion attempts to explain the "Why?"

I think science explains both, like how does a tree grow? And why are its leaves green? There are the harder questions like: How and why did the universe start? How and why do we have consciousness? How and why is there more matter than anti-matter?

You see I also love science, and I'm glad you do too, if you'd ever like to talk about science and religion or how I rationalize both of them, please feel free to PM me, I really love discussing it.

Thank you fellow science lover. I've seen to many mindless comments on various websites that I sometimes forget that there are a lot of people who are actually very intelligent.

  6. Whoa now... don't be scaring people with that crazy talk.

Water toxicity takes way more than a mere 32 oz.

    WAY more.

You realize that 32 oz might not even be enough water for the average person right?

There's been days I've had to drink 4 times that amount in a days worth, if not more, and that's 128 oz, which is a gallon.  And I'm only 6 foot tall and 180 pounds.  Albeit, I was working outside all day and sweating alot but still, I promise you, water toxicity takes more than a gallon of water.  I bet you, if I was working outside like that, that I could drink upwards of 2 to 3 gallons in a day, albeit that's alot more than I would probably actually need.  Nonetheless... Don't scare people talking about water toxicity, because most people can't even drink enough water for it to become toxic.

    ~ Miles

Sorry I didn't mean to scare anyone. You are right that normally we can't drink enough water for it to be toxic. I meant our bodies can process water really fast, so there is no need to worry about moderation.

I don't know why I am thinking about water moderation. It is not that helpful advice to give :P

  7.

My mom tells me to eat hamburgers and stuff because my underweight is pretty big problem

I am not a doctor so take my advice with some salt!

I don't think that eating hamburgers is a healthy way to gain weight. I think you should focus more on eating a lot more healthy foods that are high in calories. There is this article with tips on how to gain weight. Though you should just check with a dietitian.

Of course drink enough water. I don't know how much you drink, but a big glass every couple hours won't do a body harm. There is something called water toxicity, but that mostly happens if you drink more than four 8-ounce glasses of water an hour.

I don't know what your situation is, but you should ask for help. Coming here is a good start, and we are all happy to help you. However there is only so much we can do over the internet.
