I hope everyone will be in the holiday spirit - this will be the first time in two years I've gathered the heart to celebrate Christmas. I lost my mom around this time in 2012, so each holiday is painful, yet gets better with time and support. It's perfectly normal to get the blues, especially if you've lost someone or far away from them (college, marriage, work, etc.) Just be thankful that you are here and find someone special to share it with whether it's in person, email or phone call. I'm not being self-righteous (sorry if I give off that impression - I just learned a great deal in my life) but just be blessed and happy. Besides, the day after Christmas brings wicked discounts!! Enjoy your holidays

Watched one episode and was hooked! Hi all! I am an older Pegasister (over 30 - please don't judge me). At first I was embarrassed to be an older MLP fan until I found a few others in my situation. Now, I can embrace it! As I mentioned, my son started me with MLP since he and his friends were Bronies. He doesn't watch it as much since I pretty much became a Pegasister (I do catch them watching from time to time - teenagers. LOL) SN/ My fave is Rainbow Dash, but many say I'm more like Fluttershy. I love them both!! Outside the Equestria Realm, I am a craft maker (Mainly Soap Making/ Lotion Making - learning Candlemaking as I type this) and I also do event planning and consulting.
