It isn't unusual to feel you aren't good enough for your partner, and you are holding them back. But it is also important to realise that isn't a decision you get to make alone - if they are choosing to be with you, they obviously care for you and about you, and want to be with you, and taking that from them without talking it out first is not fair on them or, really on you.

Are you being honest with yourself about your reasons for breaking up with them? if there is no more to it than that, then you owe it to both your partner and yourself to listen to their point of view and at least try and make things work. They call it having a partner for a reason...

I appreciate your thoughts on it, but there are other reasons I don't want to list here, not only my personal thoughts on how I am as a partner, that was only a portion of why I made my decision, I just want to respect his privacy, that why that's the only one I posted
