With what I've just learned about this particular incident that's happened with a certain brony YouTuber, I think it's important that we all make it known that our community stands for acceptance and attempts to spread positivity as best we can- we want everyone to feel safe, to feel like they can be a part of us without fear of being taken advantage of
What this person has done, makes me want to be even more open and inviting to others than ever, we aren't this, we stand for much better than this, and I know others from the outside will probably use this against us, but I can tell you this
There's no other fandom I've ever wanted so much to be a part of than this one
The show didn't make me a part of the community, what I heard about the community made me watch the show back in the day, before I knew anything about it
How inviting, and good these people can be, and how they treated others
There are bad people in every group, but we will not be drug down by this cancer, and I know I'll be doing my damnedest to be the best most inviting representative I can be, we arent this person and we aren't this

You're completely right, @Valencia. This is one of the reasons why others think of us negatively, but together we must show them that it's only the minority and that we're not like that. We're a community that values each other and helps when others need it. We need to stand together at times like this, and stay that way when unfortunate things like this happen. Thank you, I would have never thought of it this way.
