    I believe I've made a decision regarding my living arrangements.

    I honestly don't believe I can afford to move out currently, although it's harder to just exist where I am now, I need to save all I can to fully enjoy my experience at convention this year- I've made it this long, I can wait till around Easter just fine :sunshower:

    Also in other news, If you'll be at babscon this year, look out for this pone owo :pinkie: I've never been to a convention before (unless you're counting school or charity organization related) and I'm everso excited to be heading to the west coast to do it! I've always wanted to go to San Francisco, so I'm even taking an extra day before and after the to try and do a little exploring whilst I'm over there!! ^W^ it truly shall be a most wondrous occasion, and if you're going Lemmie know we'll squad it up!! :D

    Another thing I didn't know about this con when I initially invested in a badge was that Q/discord himself is going to be there!! :pinkie: Ive been a Trekkie my entire life- third generation fan, MLPs altruistic messages pulled me in due to me growing up on the positive depiction of the future from star trek- so meeting John De Lancie is going to be an amazing occasion!!! 

     

    anyways, I'm finished writing this small book of an update :lie::muffins:

      hey I corrected that @CypherHoof ^_^ x3 and @Azul Maya I'd watch captain quantum leaps unneeded prequel over CBS's new science fiction show wearing star trek skin as a mask! :muffins: I'll be riding out the cosmos from the bridge of the Orville if I'm looking for new adventures, at least for now ^_^

      I've been having a great past two weeks! I've recently started seizing each day and living every day to its fullest, going places, and getting things done! I've never felt so enthusiastic about hearing my alarm in the morning! Working hard throughout the week also makes the relaxation days all the more amazing! 

      Here's to many more pleasant weeks to come!

    With what I've just learned about this particular incident that's happened with a certain brony YouTuber, I think it's important that we all make it known that our community stands for acceptance and attempts to spread positivity as best we can- we want everyone to feel safe, to feel like they can be a part of us without fear of being taken advantage of 

    What this person has done, makes me want to be even more open and inviting to others than ever, we aren't this, we stand for much better than this, and I know others from the outside will probably use this against us, but I can tell you this 

     

    There's no other fandom I've ever wanted so much to be a part of than this one 

    The show didn't make me a part of the community, what I heard about the community made me watch the show back in the day, before I knew anything about it 

    How inviting, and good these people can be, and how they treated others

    There are bad people in every group, but we will not be drug down by this cancer, and I know I'll be doing my damnedest to be the best most inviting representative I can be, we arent this person and we aren't this

      You're completely right, @Valencia. This is one of the reasons why others think of us negatively, but together we must show them that it's only the minority and that we're not like that. We're a community that values each other and helps when others need it. We need to stand together at times like this, and stay that way when unfortunate things like this happen. Thank you, I would have never thought of it this way. :)

    Thank you all so much :rarity: yesterday I was in a very flat mood- I was feeling very withdrawn and it was like everything looked and felt just, fake 

    I get that every little bit, but usually not as severe these days :lie:

    this place is the only community I have- what little friends I have outside of virtual Equestria, I question at every moment whether or not they truly want me around or if I'm bothering them

    Welp, breaking bad is officially off of my backlog, gotta say, what everyone around me has been saying about it is true, a very good piece of television :D kinda leaves me here in an awkward position though, my evening isn't over but I don't really have enough time to start something new 😅
