    Well, in many ways today was both very easy, and a difficult struggle :sunny: The kids went home early today, so the staff got to have a shorter workday for the holiday! :D but when I went over to grind myself against the treadmill, my body fought me more than it has this entire month that I've been going- and I thought yesterday was hard! :muffins:

    October ends with a guttural screech trying to claw me to pieces, but when October comes back around, its gonna see that its attempts to break me were in vein B) Happy nightmare night, Halloween or Cthulhu day everyone! :catface:

    been draggin my feet all day, but I was still able to increase my distance and time on the treadmill! :muffins: did an hour and ten minutes and knocked down three and a half miles :D 

    I think I could melt into my desk chair if I sat here too long this evening :lol::D so how's everyone else's monday go? :catface:

      I wear many different hats for an after school academic youth program for at risk kids living under the poverty line, I don't get paid much but I get more out of it than just the money ^^ :P

      I used to teach at a pretty rough school, and those special moments that you could make a difference were made it all worth it.

      I can completely understand that! ^W^ just knowing my kids have a warm place to go to after school where they can get help with their homework, make friends and get an evening meal,

      rather do that than grind a cubicle job any day:D

    so yesterday ended up being vastly busier than my normal garden variety Saturday :P My uncle was in town (who I usually don't really get along with) and was staying with us as he usually does- but during this visit, I actually sat down with him as well as my dad and watched a few Western movies (which I don't usually like :o) but it was actually a very nice and chill time :squee:

    Then afterwards, I went to a dinner party my oldest friend was throwing, and it ended up being one of the biggest turn outs he'd ever had! With some of his close work friends, old high school buddies and a very surprising but welcomed cameo from my younger brother and his Greek girlfriend, his living room was packed! 

    But as per usual, I was the one who left last :lol: but I also wanted to make sure all of the wine I'd had was properly filtered before I left! :muffins:

    ultimately it was a wonderful Saturday, and I can only hope for more like that in the future! :D:fluttershy:

    good evening cuties :P just got back from helping my brother and his girlfriend pick up her first ever car! It's a 2007 red Volkswagen beetle with a tan interior that been well taken care of, and we got it for a bargain! :fluttershy:she's a recent immigrant to the US- she's used to walking everywhere ( which isn't a viable option where we live X3) but we've helped her learn how to drive, and now she's looking adorable driving a cute little machine of her very own! :pinkie::D so very happy for her! ^W^
