      Early medieval sword eh? Nice weapon, although I'm a sucker for rapiers and Schiavonas myself. Also Swiss sabers.

      The site I was visiting was a 'living history' representation of a pre-Christian Gaelic Tribe site; so it would have been around early Iron age specifically. Mostly spears and axes. Swords such as that were a rarity until the Anglo-Normans rolled in. Still excellent craftwork though. :)
